Ya ummi, Alhamdulillah you are my guiding light
A mother's love that forever clings so tight
You are a gift, a treasure from above
Filling my days with care and love

In your arms I find peace, ya habibti
Your soothing touch keeps me safe, ma sha Allah
Through life's storms your patience lights my way
A sheltering love that blossoms each day

When I see your smile, my heart beams
Qalbi radiant walking my dreams
The melody of your laughter lingers on 
A sweet song from dusk until dawn

During hard times you dried my tears
Comforting me through the years
My home is in your warm embrace
A sanctuary by Allah's grace

Alhamdulillah for your prayers each night
Lighting my path out of the dark and into the light
A guardian angel in this life's disguise
The wisdom in your eyes Allah's love implies

Your sacrifices show the strength of your heart
Ya ummi you've been with me from the start
A mother's love is a gift divine
Precious to me in every moment of time

So Alhamdulillah I thank Allah above
For your eternal and boundless love
Within my soul your light will always stay
I thank Allah for you each night and day.
