"Is everyone okay?!" Searcher yelled.

"I think so. I'm more alive than dead." Ethan said.

Ethan got up. He dusted himself off. 

"Is it over?" Meridian asked.

"I think Asagor's dead." Jager said examine his body.

His stab wound was deep, too deep to recover from. His blood was everywhere. Ethan looked sick.  Searcher ran to hug him. The whole family hugged. Callisto came in so did Jaeger. Splat and Legend eventually tucked in.

"Hey, where's Zhade?" Ethan asked.

They stopped, and frantically looked around. Legend started sniffing. He came upon my hand. I was deep in a ditch. The heart was fine, I wasn't. Legend nudged my hand. No movement. He barked loudly. I was lying in a pool of blood. My eyes were closed. They won't open again.

"Is he...?" Meridan said.

Searcher put his hand on my neck. He shook his head. Ethan started to cry. Meridian held him. He buried his head in her chest. 

"He used his life to save us." Callisto said.

Splat started to squirt and squeak. 

"Splat?" Ethan asked.

Splat kept squeaking. The four-legged long necks approached. They walked over. They surround me. They drop orange blobs that surround me. Some walked onto my chest wound. They started glowing. My wounds begin to heal. They get smaller and smaller. The blood recedes back into me, like the tide going back to the sea.

The glowing subsides. I slowly open my eyes.

"Ugh. My head." I say sitting up.

"You're alive!" Ethan yelled hugging me. 

I slowly stood up. I brushed myself off.

"Thank you for saving us, as well as Avalon." Callisto said.

I nod. I walk off.

"Wait, you're leaving?" Ethan asked.

"I only came to kill Asagor. I still have an entire village to rebuild." I say.

I look at them. Searcher nods.

"You sure you can't stay a little bit?" Meridian asked.

"Sorry lass. I have work to do. Asagor is killed, perhaps that's a window for my village to rise out of the hole." I say.

Ethan hugs me. The whole family wraps their arms around me. I guess I could delay a couple of minutes. The universe and Avalon is saved. I don't think there's any rush.
