I turn. My eyes widen. He has come.
"Asagor." I say to him.
He hasn't changed a bit. His hair was still blue. His eyes were still glowing. He wore the same clothes. Gray pants with pointed shoes and a shirt that doesn't cover all of him. His chest was still revealed. He sat on a rock above me. Above them.
"That must be Asagor." Meridian said.
Jaeger charged at him. I didn't bother stopping him. He jumped. Asagor just grabbed his chest. He threw him back like a fly.
"I guess the Clades aren't known for brains." He said.
"What do you want?" Callisto asked.
"Same thing I've always wanted. You once helped me Zhade, why have you stopped? Why did you run?" Asagor turned to me.
"I left because I needed to! I have seen your cruelty too many times! I was drowning! I had to leave the river." I say.
"That was a mistake now I'm gonna kill you." He said.
"Good luck with that." I say drawing my blade.
A mixture of green and black smoke domed around us. It circled us. It separated me form the rest of the group. I drew my sword out. I know his moves. I've seen him in action. Other demons circled us like the smoke.
"You've never changed, have you?" I asked.
"I've grown but not changed." He said.
I charge. I jumped into the air and attempted to stab him. He grabs the blade.
"Your methods are still sloppy." He said.
He pushed me off of him. I slam into the dirt. I got up quickly. He was gone from where he was. I looked around.
"Hello." He said behind me.
I moved my sword, but he was gone the time I turned around.
"Clever." I say.
This was a dangerous game of cat and mouse. I was the mouse. I needed to be the cat.
