A river of noises and claws circle us. I couldn't see them, the grass or whatever it was, was too tall. I hear them. I hear their claws run through the ground.

"Dad-" Ethan started.

"It's okay, it's okay." Searcher said.

They shivered. I could hear their foul breath. It was raspy. I drew my sword. One jumped out. I dodged it. Another one on the other side jumped out. I barely got away. The claws dig in my arm and ruin my coat. I dodge the third one. Three, there's one more. Where could the fourth one be? I watch as the demons circle me. My mind was drawn to where the fourth one was going to be. 

I eventually got my answer. The fourth one jumped behind the family. They screamed. Well, Searcher, Meridian, and Ethan screamed. Callisto and Jaeger were hard as nails. Oh great, I fell for this one. I know this movie. Separate me, the target, from the rest of the pack. One stays behind and keeps the others busy. Classic. 

"Stay calm." I say. 

"It's practically impossible to stay calm." Searcher yelled.

"Just hold on, they're not here for you." I say. 

"That's refreshing to know." Searcher yelled.

"Just don't panic." I say.

"Yeah, let's be completely calm while these demons rip our heads off." Searcher said.

"Not today they won't." Callisto said.

She charged at the fourth demon. She's braver than I thought. The two from either side of me jumped. I dodged both of them. They were pushing me somewhere. I don't know where, but it wasn't good. I had to move away from this road. 

"Hello old friend." A voice said.
