Rowen is years beyond her age, truly seasoned in her wisdom of life she has lived many lives in her short time alive. She keeps a mostly pleasant attitude to those that don't cross her or treated her lesser than due to her social status. With a sharp tongue she doesn't like to keep things to serious leaving sarcasm and wit to be but the first of her many layers. She can be one's shoulder to cry on, taking on a maternal nature to anyone she loves. Protecting those that she deems deserving out of love, respect, even sometimes out of pity for their situation. This stems from a fear of losing those she loves, the guilt she feels that those around her, those she cares for could be hurt simply because they are attached to her. Out of drive to help others like herself, poor and needing a hand out of the hole one that she only got due to another poor girl reaching out to her she feels the need to do so for other poor slave folk. While mostly keeping an upbeat attitude she truly is a woman of balance ever part that is light has to have a dark. Hers would be the grudges she holds, after many years she still hasn't forgiven half the people she has met in her life time. Truthfully she will never forgive them and if given the chance she doesn't know what she would actually do to them, scream, cry, make them feel the pain she did,? She wasn't sure , but forgiveness is not one of the choices she would go with. Her anger was one dangerous thing as a spell with such deep emotion can cause nothing but havoc for everyone including Rowen herself. So emotional control is important to her, this could be why Rowen keeps such a neutral playfully nature. Happiness can be powerful but the energy within her that comes from anger is stronger within her. It could be deep down she has a chip on her shoulder. She pushes it down more and more never truly working out the issues of the past, it hurts to much to actually feel the pain. To reconnect to the events, to live them, to feel them a thing that makes her to connected to her own reality well it's easier to care for others and brush off the chains of the past, pretending to be blind of them. Living blind of the true evil that haunts her and pressing forward with the wisdom of that she choses to focus on.

(Rowen is spelled Rowan through almost the entire story...Rowen is the correct spelling but it's to much to fix 😭)
Rowen was born to The Sorceress of Elos, Evangeline and First Mate of the Golden Pearl, Alister. The two had been madly in love as told by the towns folk, so it was heart wrenching when Alister had left home a five months after Rowen was born. With a kiss on her forehead and the words "Don't be fussy little one." Without even remembering the events that occurred, that was the last time she would see her father. Evangeline held her own, she knew what the life of a pirates wife entailed. Her husband gone months at a time but also when he returned he came with riches, love, and time to devote to his family. But when tragedy struck it hit Rowen's mother hard, her father was rumored to be dead. Killed by an intense storm pulling their ship in deeper to the nasty waters. With in a couple days the remains of their ship were mostly only that of the boats structure in hundreds of pieces. Only a couple bodies had been found and not fully intact, none of them being a Alister. Dead, Alive, no one knew but he was presumed dead with the rest. Evangeline grew cut off, she stopped sharing her gift with the people of her town, now she simply kept it to herself. This enraged a few people calling her selfish and wishing tragic events to befall Rowen and her. As selfish as it was the woman was depressed, isolating herself with her daughter. She was a good mother, she made sure her daughter was safe and healthy living off the money as a seamstress. Rowen was her motivation the thing pushing her to move forward. Things were starting to feel normal for Evangeline and a young Rowen. Living what felt care free, Rowen had started to show signs of being blessed with the same gift as her mother.
While this was wonderful news to Evangeline that she was able to share this experience with her daughter. It started to capture the eyes of those with greedy intentions, the same people that were annoyed with Evangeline's choice to stop sharing her magic. One summer night Rowen was forced out of her bed by a man throwing her over his shoulder with his blood stained hands. The young six year old kicked, screamed, clawed at the man as he carried her through the halls of her tiny house. "Momma!" The girl cried out only to pass her mother room seeing her once lovely mother covered in her own blood. Her eyes open and her throat slit, the blood had rushed down her chest and stained her nightgown. Rowen had lost everything in one night, her mother, her home, before she knew it even her freedom. As the man carried her out of the house he walked but a couple feet before two other men set her home on fire watching it go up in flames. Slowly the three men and Rowen had approached the local harbor. Broken she gave up on fighting and resorted to the last thing she knew how to do, cry. "Would you bloody shut up." The man snapped at the young girl but the tears never stopped. As they stepped onto the dock it creaked under their feet, only getting louder the closer they got to the ship. With a loud thud the gangway had been lowered allowing them to board the pirate ship. Rowen's feet finally touched the ground again but a firm hand gripped her shoulder and she was placed in front of a man that had reeked of rum "Captain....the witch...she attacked so we couldn't get her." The man that carried Rowen spoke with a nervous tone as the man that smelt of booze leaned into the other man's face "So you brought me a child..." The captain hissed in displeasure as his eyes scanned Rowen before a disgusting smirk crept across his face "The witch's child....A MAGICAL CHILD!" He bursted out laughing from deep within his gut. Getting exactly what he had wanted his very own witch for his own selfish wants. Magic was strong in Elos but the type of ancient magic that ran through Rowen's blood was a dying breed. "Throw her belowdeck." The captain had turned around headed back to his quarters as she was dragged by her arm belowdeck her feet barely touching the stairs they went down. "Don't make any loud noise girl." He spat at her before stomping back in the stairs slamming the door behind him. Rowen started to tear up not sure how she ended up in these circumstances.
It was these tears that would attract the attention of a sixteen year old girl named Maria. She woken up by the stomping up above but when she noticed the new slave was but a small child she took pity on her. She slowly approached through the dimly lit slaves quarters. "Hey, they're gone for now, you don't need to cry." She tried her best to comfort Rowen knowing how badly she must be hurting. Rowen didn't trust Maria at all, this must have been a trick how could anyone nice be aboard this ship. Maria tried her best to get Rowen to trust her that night but it was a fail. "Okay well I'm going to go back to sleep....there's an empty bed next to mine your more than welcome to take it." Maria felt bad for her but knew she too needed sleep, returning to bed momentarily after thinking Maria was already asleep Rowen crawled into the bed next to hers pulling the covers over her head still not trusting anyone. Time had gone by since the night she became a slave to the ship of the Golden Pearl. Days turned into weeks, into months, until an entire two years had gone by, she was put to work cleaning all while being trained by Maria. Had she known then that Maria would become her primary caregiver and the person that meant the most to her in her new life then she wouldn't have been so cold to her that first night. Rowen's days were repetitive, wake up at the crack of dawn begin her daily work list. When she wasn't cleaning or working her fingers to the bone, she was forced to use her magic for whatever the captain felt like. She was still learning and many of her spells wouldn't turn out like he had wanted, it was only a matter of time before he finally had enough. Docking at Uharis, otherwise known as The Pirate Kingdom, Rowan and Maria were brought into town by the Captain as he was looking to make a few sales. They walked through the market town you could buy anything, food, weapons, clothes, even slaves. The old captain had screeched through the market "Girls for sale." He found Rowen useless due to her age, strength, and how he saw her magic abilities as a failure. Hearing the words "Girls for sale" a man named Henry Hillard's ears perked up and he was quick to take notice of Maria. He struck up a bargain with the captain about how much he'd be willing to pay for the young woman. However this conversation didn't sit right with Maria herself. She didn't wish to be sold yet again, nor did she wish to abandon Rowan as the she grew dependent of Maria. "Henry sir, I know that little Rowan here could be use as well. I can assure you that the two of us are an excellent pair." Maria had given the man sweet eyes with an alluring voice. Henry fell for it "How much extra for the little one." The captain was fine to kill two birds with one stone and bargained her off with Maria, getting rid of his weakest links.
The two were handed over to Henry, at eight years old Rowan found her new home in Uharis. Henry was easy on Maria, he wasn't as fond of Rowan but kept her around to appease Maria. Rowan's life as a slave had slowed down to her surprise. With this spare time she had she was able to focus in on her magic, gaining control over the little things she could. She was starting to control things more easily and spells no longer were turning on her. A year had passed Maria had been tasked to purchase items for dinner with Rowan appointed to help the returned to the market that had once held them for sale. Merchants of all kinds had set up shop calling and greeting customers with charming faces. Out of the corner of Rowan's eyes something called out her name in a faint whisper. Her head slowly turning her eyes locking with a dusty old book. As if she was in a trance her feet approached the book. Her fingers reaching down lightly pulling open the cover she felt a wave of electricity wash over her body. The pages were old and crisp, it had clearly taken water damage over the years staining a few pages harsher. The merchant noticed Rowan ogling the book "Ah fan of the magical I see, they say it belonged to an old powerful witch that use to sacrifice people to obtain power. It took an entire town to put an end to the evil witch." The merchant knew not of how put off by his story Rowan was. "Witches aren't evil, they're beautiful and magical." As the image of her mother played through her mind. He simply looked at her with a confused expression only trying to make some money. Maria had quickly made her way to Rowan lightly scolding her for running off on her own. The merchant tried to push the idea of buying the book onto Maria but she simply didn't have the spare money. Grabbing Rowan's hand the two girls walked off to fetch the groceries for the evening. Only moments after leaving the book stand Rowan felt dizzy almost as it she couldn't stand her eyes fighting to stay open. They had to rest for a few minutes had Rowan continued to act as such Maria would have no choice but to return home and ask Henry to call a doctor. The minutes passed and Rowan's strength had started to regain allowing them to finish. Once returning home to Henry's the two girls began to work, Maria preparing dinner and Rowan tidying up the house before Master Henry would arrive back. The young girl snuck off after swiftly finishing the homely duties. In her room she pulled a tiny coin purse out of her pocket dumping it onto her bed. Rocks, sea shells, even one or two coins she had found on the street. More curiously a small book the size of a pebble. Rowan placed her hands on the book her eyes fogging a ghostly white. The book grew in size reaching its once original form. A smile formed across Rowan's face as her eyes got heavy and she started to sway on her bed falling on her size cushioned by to stiff mattress.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Rowan was shot awake by Maria's voice. She scrambled to clean up the bed dusking Rowan's little treasures back into the coin bag. "IF MASTER HENRY SEES THIS HE'LL THINK WE USED HIS MONEY TO BUY PERSONAL ITEMS WITHOUT PERMISSION." Maria was worried about what was to come. While Henry wasn't as cruel as the captain was he was still a man that valued money. No matter how beautiful he found Maria, she was still just property to him. "Hide this and never let it be seen by him. Even if we prove that we didn't steal from him...We're still are guilty of stealing and he might think we could turn that on him." Rowan in a panic chants the same spell putting her hands on the book her eyes returning to their foggy state it shrunk again. Her body swaying but with all might fighting to stay conscious. Maria while amazed that she was learning grabbed the shrunken book and put it in her coin bag. Maria did more for Rowan to be healthy and safe than she realized. After a slight panic the two went down stairs at the perfect moment to greet Henry as he staggered through his door. The girls serving him instantly playing off as if nothing had happened though Rowan's mind was still clouded her body reacted to what she was trained to do. That night Rowan had decided to skip sleeping, Maria hadn't come to bed yet, Henry had called upon Maria to help release stress as he says. The book had made its way back into the fingers of Rowan the spells became easier to understand while they were getting easier to control now they were making more sense. She had never been taught to read beyond the years of the death of her mother. The captain didn't need a slave that could read nor did Henry. The ruins that covered the book were the easiest things to read they didn't take effort she simply knew them. This was far different than looking at any other book. She lived by the book, it would take someone to pry the book from her cold dead hands for them to steal it from her.
Growing more powerful with each passing year Rowan was growing to be a woman of power and strength, she might not have been book smart but she was skilled in many aspects of life. The young child now a sixteen year old blossoming woman on her way to freedom. She still worked for Henry, though she had been saving up money to buy her freedom. She cut a deal with the greedy man that if she obtained enough she could buy her freedom. He was hesitant but with some persuasion from his now wife Maria she had twisted his arm into saying yes. Rowan felt sorry for Maria, a woman she claimed her sister now in a loveless marriage simply because she had fallen pregnant with Henry's children. Rowan's new primary job as nanny to sweet Gillian and little Florence, a new position but still no pay. At night once everyone but Maria has fallen asleep Rowan sneaks off to earn a little bit of money. Her cover being Maria while she spends the night away serving drunken pirates and those that stumble in through the night. Rowan watches as the beautiful woman dance for the men. Their necks dripping with pearls their skirts showing off their legs feet tapping gently against the ground with such swiftness. The band softly playing as Rowan served a group of pirates humming along with the melody her feet trying to mimic the moves of the dances without getting caught. One of the men smirks at her with a thick sailors accent "Your not gonna make much money serving." She turned a slightly shade a red embarrassed from being caught but pulling it back quickly "I'm not skilled like they are." She placed the wooden pint down as a splash of beer ran down the side. "Its as easy as a fight, surely you know how to do that aye?" She didn't say anything as yea she knew how to fight but not gracefully and with such skill. While she can hit hard it's very uncoordinated, scrappy. She turned on her heel and carried her try back to the bar where she would spend the remaining hours fighting off drunken men, women, and the occasional stray animal.
Quietly sneaking into the home of her master Henry she heard shouting coming from the master room. This wasn't the first time so she checked the childrens room and found the kids asleep. She cast a small spell of protection in the room to keep the room sound proof. A thing that happened more than the children knew to keep them from hearing such frightful screaming from their father. Rowan made her way upstairs opening the door to hopefully create a diversion but things sounded different as she heard the cries of the woman she claimed as her sister "I'm sorry, please stop!" The pleads of Maria rang through Rowan's ears, her body acted before her mind had the ability to devise a plan. Swinging open the door her eyes widened, blood running down Maria's nose, a fist clenched around her nightgown. "Leave, this doesn't involve you." He spat at the girl as if she would let him continue. He had his nights of screaming and sometimes would break things but Rowan was always told by Maria that he was never physical. She should have known better, how naive of her to believe this terror of a man was above that. Rowan reached out grabbing his forearm trying to pull it away from gripping Maria. He let go for a second pulling his arm from the witches grip before backhanding her across the face. "YOU! You think I'm gonna let you go free now? You can kiss that little wish of yours goodbye. I see how you glare at me, your a pest and frankly I'm sick of it. I should kill you right now...but your lucky I can at least sell you for a good bit of money." Now standing over Rowan he screeched out as he reached behind him pulling a dagger out of his shoulder throwing it to the ground, it slid under the bed and into the darkness. Maria stood behind him looking terrified of the man she was forced to marry, a man she feared. His demeanor was terrifying grabbing his wife by the throat squeezing the life from her body. The sounds that escaped her lips would scar Rowan for life but now wasn't the time to hide in fear. "Stop it! STOP IT! STOP IT!" She scrambled up from the floor beating her hands on his back, the side of his chest, her nails digging into his skin trying to get him to release. Maria's hands dug at his wrists hoping to free herself getting weaker as she felt herself slipping in and out of consciousness. Rowan scanned the ground for the dagger, she couldn't find it, where was it? The gasps of Maria started to space out, she would be gone if Rowan didn't act right then. "I SAID STOP IT!" Her voice distorting as her eyes filled with tears mumbling soft spells under her breath before her fists beat into his back. With one hit he felt as though he had been shot by a canon. His grip has released Maria as she fell to the ground gasping for air her face as red as an apple unable to think. Rowan stood over Henry whom laid on the flood, softly mumbling under her breath as he grabbed at his neck feeling the hands of someone strong. The feeling his neck could be snapped at any second the air trapped from entering his lungs as he wasn't able to breathe. His eyes became blood shot as he suffocated from nothing. Rowan felt free, she felt strong. Henry was on the end of death he felt it but in that moment the man that struck fear into Rowan was nothing but a bug beneath her shoe, and she loved it. She loved it...she shouldn't love it. This was wrong he was despicable and deserved it, but this magic, it was swaying her. It was changing her. Just like that the feeling was gone as Rowan grew dizzy and collapsed on the floor.
After a few minutes she woke up with a raging headache, her ears ringing, her hand reached up running the temple of her forehead. "Maria." She mumbled as the woman threw herself around Rowan "Henry...he's..." she didn't finish before Rowan's eyes landed on the lifeless body of her master. "We can think up something, no one has to know. You need to leave....If they find out your a witch they'll know you did it and they'll hang you. Rowan you have to leave..." Maria hated Henry, but only Rowan knew that not even the children she shared with him knew of her true disgust. Rowan was still in a foggy daze she wasn't even fully aware of what had happened all she knew was that she wanted to sleep. "Rowena!" Maria scolded as if she were a child using her full name. Rowan snapped back to reality trying her hardest to focus. "Take this and get on the next ship out of here...it'll be a while but I promise we'll see each other again!" Maria reached deep within her mattress nearly her entire arm shoved under the stiff bed. She pulled out a small satchel full of gold, she was saving both for Rowan's freedom and her own. Despite being freed of her slave ownership Maria was still chained to Henry's command. With a soft kiss on Rowan's forehead Maria looked down at the girl she aided in raising. Sisters despite never sharing a drip of blood, she would do anything for Rowan. Slowly pushing herself up off the wooden floor you could hear the floor beneath her. Her body swayed back and forth, her eyes blinking away the fog, gripping the purple velvet satchel. "This isn't goodbye" she started to hurry out of the room as she wanted to catch the next boat to leave before dawn. She be-lined straight out of the master bedroom and into her own. If she was leaving for a good while she couldn't leave all her things behind. Packing left her feeling felt like she couldn't breathe, like the air was knocked out of her all she was running on now was steam. The thuds of her feet picked up pace leaving it behind, the streets felt quiet, did everyone know Henry was dead? No surely there would be a stir if they did, but why did the quiet feel worse than a ruckus within her. The stone street reached an end as the dock creaked loudly alerting the only ship about to leave to draw notice of her. She panted heavily sweat dripping down her forehead as she approached them. Some drunk, some men, some women, but all giving her a look, sizing her up. Going up to the first person she saw she begged "Please...let me join you I can work, I can pay!" The older man was missing a front tooth replaced by a shiny gold one. Scars covered his arms clearly he had been through it for many years. "Work aye? Your gonna have to ask the captain. CAPTAIN!" It took by a few minutes to long as Rowan was feeling the adrenaline wear off her body starting to ache once more her head growing groggy. "Yes?" A similar voice chimed out of a man in his mid thirties. A devilish smirk plastered across his face staring straight into the eyes of Rowan "So we meet again...come to learn to fight? Or to dance?" He teased Rowan as she couldn't believe the ridiculousness of running into the man from the bar. "Teach me...let me join you and teach me. I can fight, I can work..." pulling the bag to her waist she dug through it unable to see clearly but feeling for the velvet her finger tips brushing against it adoring the feeling of that moment. As she tugged it out of the bag gripping the bag so tight her knuckles turned white. "I can pay!" Her voice cracked holding the bag above her head for all to see. The man parted his lips to speak but she could hold out no longer tumbling back everything fading to black all that remained of her senses where voices, sadly she couldn't make out what they were saying.
Humming spread through the room as a cute blonde tended to her daily work. "Good Morning, still sleepy I see." She chuckled to herself preparing a warm kettle of water while she dipped a cloth in a room temperature bucket of water placing the wet cloth across an unconscious Rowan. As the cloth connected to her forehead she shot up alert wiping the wet cloth off. The soggy cloth fell next to her as the girl simply blinked before scurrying out of the room. Looking around she wiped the crust out of her eyes, feeling the effects of a hang over she stretched feeling stiff beyond belief. The last things she remembered was fainting at the dock and...her stuff. The first thing she thought about was where was her stuff. Flinging the covers onto the floor she jumped out of bed a little to quickly her legs feeling like gelatin needing a second to adjust with each step there was a wobble. She scanned the room with skepticism of what was going on. She knew of two things, first she was on a boat, the slow rocking motion gave it away. Secondly, that she wasn't in any danger, she could sense it. Being both a witch and living with Henry for many years she knew when things weren't as they seems but this...this isn't like that. Finally she noticed all her things nicely placed on a soft looking chair. Her eyes lit up with glimmer as she saw the corner of a very special book peaking out of her get away bag. She instinctively grabbed it hugging it dearly, it was her lifeline, her most prized possessions. The one thing she felt kept her connected to her mother. "Awake I see...my lass said you were soft asleep till she she started to care for you." Pushing her book back into the bag she didn't like others to see it, only Maria could. "Thank you for your....kindness. I'm sorry you had to take care of me for the night." She hated feeling helpless, it was all she felt growing up and she hated every second of it. "A night? You were out for three days." He shook his head circling the room headed towards the chair, picking up her bag that contained all her items. "Three da- Hey don't touch my stuff." She ripped it out of his hand as she sternly spoke like he was a child. "Why? Worried I'll steal from ya? Don't flatter yourself little witch I simply wanted to sit down. Plus the only things of value you have is your gold and that book...though even then I don't know many pirates that would have use of a book they can't read." His thick brow raising taking a seat where the items once sat. "So you did go through my things." She still continued to count all of her things, this was still a ship full of pirates, she was also preoccupied in thought about how long she had been out for. "No, you just dumped everything out when you passed out right in front of my crew and I. I felt bad for you...begging to join us then falling like that. A little dramatic to get your stay here...but I like a little drama." She wasn't fazed by his pestering she lived with worse for much longer. "Well a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do." She looked him in the eye coldly arms crossed tightly against her chest as she narrowed her eyes. A deep chuckle filled the room "You need to lighten up if you want to be part of my crew." She was taken back thinking he would want rid of her as soon as possible, she didn't speak in this moment allowing him to do most of the talking. "Now that your awake...I'll take your offer. You work for my crew, you help us and I'll let you stay, if your of any value I'll teach you to fight, my lass can teach you to dance if you wish...Or you can give me the money and I'll nicely leave you at our next stop. But no one gets a free ride here." He sat slouched down in his chair, extending out his hand towards her. "Do we got a deal? Miss?" She didn't know what had told her to do it but she she gazed back and forth between his eyes and hand as she tilted her chin up sliding her palm into his gently shaking. "Rowen...Rowen Evangeline Alister."
Years passed, now fully devolved into a worthy adversary to any pirate. The once obedient girl forced to do as she was told was gone and in her place stood a woman of freedom and confidence. She was a fear among the waters simply known as 'The Witch of the Sea." She wasn't much with a sword but she hit faster than you could know it. She was more about speed than damage, but that's what the daggers are for though most don't see them coming till after being stabbed. Don't get it twisted she hits hard but her daggers are a surprise and deal out more damage than her fists. The woman works night and day to earn her spot not cause she felt forced to but for once her hard work and her value would be seen and rewarded. She worked her way up the ranks along side her mentor and friend Captain Bloodford, a name he chose himself. And his right hand being herself as his quartermaster, it helped that as a witch she used her magic to aid the crew in health and in spirits. It was hard to not use the magic for selfish benefits especially with many around her trying to encourage her to do so. She has a stronger grip on her magic but she still fears the consumption she felt when she killed Henry. She was one with the pirate life, it had been so long since she had last seen Maria, but she planned a visit as her Captain had planned to dock in Uharis. The ship pulled in sight of The Kingdom of Pirates itself. A place Rowen hadn't been to since she left that faithfully night, she felt glad to be back now that she knew there was nothing she couldn't face. Bent over the railing smiling upon seeing the city Bloodford stomped his boots against the floor as he approached. Her eyes rolled at the man as he stopped directly next to her. "Tell your sister not to write so damn much next time...it's to damn annoying to get your letters." Giggling softly at the man she took note "Will do Cap. I'll get right in that." The two of them knew that wasn't going to happen as they both basked in the view as a land filled with thieves, murders, many pirates could still be so beautiful to the eye. "Oh I have something for yeah while we're here...I think this is meant for you and not I." He slid a letter across the railing, on it was The Kingdoms seal across the front it was addressed to 'The Selected' Rowen was confused but pulled her dagger from her boot starting to cut the letter open pulling out the official invitation.

Reading ancient ruins, Rowen's education is poor, however with ancient ruins she is able to transcribe them easily be it through the ancient magic bloodline running through her veins.
✦
Her magic, it has helped her a lot in life and even those around her once she finally understood the true nature how powerful it can be. Though while she may be able to harm others with this magic it might come at a cost of hurting herself in the process.
✦
Hand to hand combat along with dagger fighting. Rowen learned at a young age to defend herself from other people in this dog eat dog world. She also know how to incorporate small daggers into the fight without one's realizing till after they've been stabbed or cut.
✦
Dancing was a skill she learned much later in life it actually wasn't until after she learned how to fight did she learn how to dance, this may not seem like a life saving skill but it is one of Rowan's constant training methods to keep her agile and quick on her feet naturally.

Reading and writing, with how Rowen grew up she didn't have access to things like proper education. As an adult she learned a few things but her reading level is that of a young child. The only thing she's doesn't struggle to read is ancient runes. Due to this she tries to avoid reading in front of people embarrassed by how she might look.

Sword fighting, she's only fought holding knives or daggers never a proper sword so she doesn't know proper form. She is willing to learn but when holding one she isn't sure the best ways to attack with it.

Funnily enough her greatest strength can be her biggest weakness, Rowen's magic. If using an overly powerful spell it can make her feel light headed and start to feel a little delirious. Or worse if a spell is used in a harmful manner

She has never truly interacted with one of them but she feels the way people so easily buy and sell other humans is despicable so she'd like to civilly speak with the big man in charge about a change.

Being a little put off by the idea at first she didn't wish to be put on display like some sort of prize animals at a contest. With thought she realized the good that could come out of it, some royals had been told to be ruthless to the poor. But if some had allowed slaves and poor folk to enter then maybe they would be able to at least make some sort of change for those enslaved and treated so lowly that when murdered aren't treated the same as the higher class folk that die are. Like how everyone was searching for Henrys murder but even to this day no one has ever tried to find her mothers, despite that being Elos they still treated poor people the same.

Rowen's magic isn't inherently good, nor is it bad. There are no truly good or truly bad magic just the choices the user chooses to make. How one balances the scale is the only true way to tell.
