Arianne Nymeria Martell, the woman was born to lead, headstrong and a confidence that seemed to never waver, she knew how to play the game of power. Loyal to Dorne and to her family, she would do anything to keep those important to her safe. Even if she disagreed with how things were running what choice did she have but to play along. The world was a war, she wanted to try to change it fairly so she used her greatest asset; her mind. From a young age she had always had more of a sharp tongue to cut her enemies with words rather than knives. Though don't let this device you she is from Dorne...she doesn't go down without a fight be it with words or weapons. This however was her last resort, she wanted to do it the right way before choosing the bloody way. She was still not an enemy you wish to have.
She has a family to protect and to do so she must always be two steps ahead of everyone in order to not fall prey to another. Hiding her true emotions nearly always, though she is confident. She is human and some words can throw her off balance, the important thing is how she reacts. Having mastered masking them with a charming smile and a mature attitude. It became straining to constantly bare a smile and hold your head high. Even in times of true broken agony she never let anyone know. It was a small price to pay for the bigger picture.
Her aura was intimidating if you were rivaling her but intoxicatingly warm if you were to be comforted by her. A true stereotypical princess, mature yet charismatic. A woman that was knowledgeable in many aspects of life her intelligence was what made her beautiful, more than her physically appearance ever did. In truth all she's just a woman trying to protect what she loves at all costs.
God forbid those that try and take it away from her, for they will see the side that only the deep parts of her mind get to view. A side that hasn't been viewed by anyone outside her family.

Born Arianne Nymeria Martell named after powerful ancestors, she was born the second child of the Martell's; the eldest daughter. Odran and Eleane Martell had been grateful to be blessed with their first daughter. She wasn't a very fussy child and rather was always observing her parents and elder brother Quentyn, even into toddler hood. It was only after the birth of her little sister Elara that she started to blossom with her personality. She adored her baby sister often staying up late watching her to make sure she was safe. Though her mother Eleane would often end up scolding her for being out of bed. This was when things were blissfully ignorant. She was always closer with her father, adoring him and wishing to grow up and be like him. Someone that held themselves with such confidence and didn't seem to let anything shake them...she idolized the man. When it came time for her to learn to learn how to fight she wasn't the best at it, she fumbled, she cut her fingers and even ended up getting scarred in the process.
That day was the last day she failed, she forever remembers the burn of the knife as it slid across her cheek bone. Looking at her opponent she felt the warm blood start to slowly run down the side of her face. It cut deep hurting more than anything she had yet experienced. Her eyes weld up with tears, she choked them back with a blank face trying to keep it together on the inside to not let it out, she didn't want to be seen crying. She never saw her father cry, neither could she. She mustered up all the courage she had and simply resumed her starting stance gripping the knife gifted to her by her father tightly.
However while she was a deadly fighter she never compared to her siblings both of who were more skilled. It got under her skin, she could go toe to toe with the warriors. However when came to Quentyn and Elara she rarely got the upper hand on them. She wished she could blame it on not wishing to hurt them. They were genuinely just stronger than even deadly Arianne. That was fine as she learned a better way for her to fight, through words. She started to attend her fathers duties with him in place of Quentyn. Her brother never seemed to want to go and would runaway, hide, do anything he could to get out of them. While Arianne did anything to attend them. She never realized how strained Odran and Quentyn's relationship was till later years and would play mediator covering for her brother and going in his place. She started to grow passionate about the politics of Dorne. Her siblings seemed to be greater at fighting that always bothered her despite never openly saying it. So when she found something she understood fully and seemed to care about it was like it clicked. It fit like a puzzle piece from that young age threw herself into reading books on the history of drone. More than just the great tales she heard from the past but the tragic, the not as thrilling stories. She wanted to know all to be able to best make a judgment to avoid past mistakes and tactically call upon working ones. She would then apply these to daily life, making bargains and compromises with her brother, helping him work his way out of conflict with their father. Causing her to criticize her little sisters reckless nature. Though Arianne was but a child still and thought that she was truthfully helping her. This lead to many drawn out childish arguments between Arianne and Elara. Things didn't change till Quentyn left and didn't return, Arianne was only still a kid when he left, she felt very personal when it happened. He was her closest friend and at the time her sister and her didn't get on very well bickering over frivolous things. She felt like he abandoned her though she knew it wasn't why he left. But as the years went by she would receive Quentyn letters and saved all of them. Only bright side to him leaving was that Elara and her had grown closer. The picking on each other was still there, she seemed to be the only person to bring out a more playful side of Arianne. But things got cold for everyone when Eleane had passed away. It shook the family everyone except Arianne and Elara, it pulled them together closer than ever before. But the relationship to take the toll was Odran and Arianne. They once were closer than ever but soon grew distant, he wasn't cold with her but he felt like a husk if his former self. Arianne felt as though the day her mother died...her father did too. She only saw him when he'd call on her to help him with Dorne. He gave her more duties, helping the people, making sure their people are taken care of, alliances with others. She was taking over as though she was meant to become an heir of sorts. But when the day came that their father too passed she was lost with what was to come. Her brother returned him to claim his title, Arianne was furious in her own right. She was torn with the happiness he returned after all the years of being gone, but for a title? She didn't understand why she worked hard to take care of Dorne and it was to be handed to her brother. She didn't care about being worshipped as a princess but she did care about being recognized for the hard work she did. She realizes on Elara as of most days to not lose herself to over thinking topics, with Quentyn she doesn't start anything and only pushed the negative things down trying to come to terms with what's happening...but with his disinterested to lead she's growing annoyed. Normal person wouldn't be able to detect that she was bothered by it, but he was her family and he would probably be able to recognize it soon.

She prefers to fight with words and non lethal politics than all out weapons and war.
✦
Arianne resembles her mother more than her father.
✦
She had a very close relationship with her father despite also being close with her brother. She idolized her father as a child but getting older saw most sides of him and was the child closest to him. She still wishes to make her father proud even though he's dead.
