Persephone has always been a very bubbly person from the day she was born, she was raised in an environment full of love being taught to respect all living beings, even nevers. While she won't be a pushover and let nevers walk all over her she'll simply ignore their comment to keep a peaceful environment. She doesn't see a reason to feed the fire when it comes to what they say to her, though when it comes to others she will speak her mind in a respectful way. She wasn't just some dumb princess who had nothing going on in her head, she was simply naive to some things beyond her kingdom walls. She was wise in the ways of politics and how to rule equally, even when working with stubborn and demanding people. She's had this burden as the only heir to her kingdom, most don't realize that she bottles up her fears and worries. She tries her hardest to be perfect that it takes such a toll on her privately away from the eyes of the public, possibly not the healthiest habit but Evers have a status to uphold about being the kindness, smartest, strongest, just all around perfect. A thing Persephone doesn't feel she is leaving her feeling lost in her life, tired of an imagine that isn't fully her. Yes she is kind and doesn't wish to start fights but she doesn't wish to be pushed over just to lay down and die. Nor does she wish to be pressured by her own kind to be perfect at every turning corner, she doesn't want to be compared to a standard as she is someone with a vast range of emotions and feelings. In a sorts she's a coward to conformity scared to step out of that box, but she grows tired of the box she's trapped within and just sometimes wishes to partake in selfish desires just once and not be a princess but a person.

𝔹𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪|
Everyone knows the story of Persephones parents, the heroic tale of how her mother freed the other unicorns from their entrapment only to bring Persephones father back from death. Most assume after her mother decided to stay a unicorn, well she did for a short time before returning back to human form only to rekindle her lover with Prince Lir. Their love resulting in an heir to be born, future ruler of Hagsgate when King Lir saw fit. On the stormy night of Peresphones birth she laid sleeping calmly in the arms of her mother Lady Amalthea. The woman never knew she could love so deeply, possibly her greatest experience as a human. Persephone spent more time with her parents as a child always remembering them foundry. Her mother seemed to be her rock when young the two often spending many hours in the garden, surrounded by flowers of all colors, the lilac ones being her favorite reminding her of her mother's beautiful lilac eyes. She always envied the color of her eyes while her were just a golden brown. "Persephone, sit down my dear." Her mothers soft voice always comforted her as the little four year old girl sat in her mothers lap. Feeling the fingers run through her hair she loved the time spent together. "There" her mother released her hair leaving it braided into two braids small flowers snuggly placed within the braids. This memory was Persephones favorite as it was a time before things changed. With the years passing things became more complicated. Her mother felt disconnected from what she truly was, torn between two worlds she left for a while. Persephone was only eight at the time she didn't understand why her mother left and for so long. Things weren't the same at home with her father busy as king she had no one besides the kingdoms staff. That wasn't the same, they cared for her cause of her status not because they had a connection to her. She tried to get her father to join her but he couldn't having to prioritize the kingdom over his own child. In an attempt to spend more time with her father she showed an interest in politics. He wasn't sure why but happily let her join him at work. Boredom plagued Persephone mind the first couple years forcing herself to stay just to spend time with her father, missing her mother and the time she spent with her. Things felt lonely most of her life leading up to her time at the school for good and evil. The only time she truly spent with her father was dedicated to working together, her mother she got to see her whenever her mother felt like returning home. She wonders though had she been able to shift into her unicorn form when her mother left, would she have taken her with? Or was she just to much of a reminder of the human side of her mother.

Therianthropy - The ability of human beings to metamorphose into animals or hybrids by means of shapeshifting. Persephone is only able to take the form of a unicorn. However she can also single out other parts of her body to shift if wanting to. She also uses this ability in minor instances like some cases where she will turn her pink where it is purely cosmetic.

Animancy - The power to utilize magic involving the living, life-force and/or souls. The rival to necromancy, a dark magic controlling the dead, animancy allows to bring life without control of said life. A very strong magic that does take a lot of the young woman. She has only ever used it on one human and that left her weak and tired for days as it's hard to produce such strong energy all the time without training. So for now she mostly sticks to plant life and animals till she masters the ability.

Failure plagues Persephones every nerve, how will she live up to her parents more importantly to legacy her mother leaves behind. The shoes she has to fill are big how can she be the one to fill them.

Persephone fully understands why her mother is the way she is, trapped between two worlds not fitting in either being the only one of her kind despite looking the part. Though it still hurts Persephone, she does still love her mother dearly.
