i've been thinking (for once), and it's a tentative idea but tbh i'm so excited and i couldn't wait ahshdjfkfl

guys im forreal so excited ahhhhh it's been so long since i've written and i'll finally get to improve and fix this cringefest lmaO

the revamp will have the same general plot as the original (jen is from diff country and him and jaem hate each other but have to move in tgt rip etc etc), but certain plot points will be different

i'm really trying to focus on writing distinct characters with distinct personalities and mannerisms bc that was something i really didn't like, smh the characters were literally all the same.

im also focusing on making it less messy. i don't wanna drag anything out unnecessarily long or have a lot of useless filler dialogue. there'll still be crack ofc but it'll be more polished and maybe possibly probably not fit with the plot.

i was inspired by VERYCHEOL so shout out to their blessed soul. i've been reading hike and rendezvous and ugh😩 MASTERPIECES😩😩 they reminded me of suck you and gave me motivation to write, so everyone say thank you!!

‼️ before i do anything, i have important questions for y'all. please answer them all‼️

1. MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: would you actually want to read a revamp? (i've been so inactive and i haven't published anything in like a YEAR. i know my acc and this book have died but... if you guys are in, it motivates me a loT)

2. certain plot points (which are stated below) keep or yeet? please state your opinion in the comments.

a) THIS MIGHT BE TRIGGERING YOUVE BEEN WARNED READ NEXT PARAGRAPH OR DONT SAY SHIT IN THE COMMENTS jeno's cutting was v sudden and written unprofessionally. i wanted to touch on a lot of subjects and things teens handle (for realism, stronger connection to readers, and possible help for readers) but i'm not sure if i'll include that in the revamp...
HAHAHHAHA S I K E YALL DONT GET TO KEEP OR YEET THIS ONE BC A FEW MONTHS AGO I EDITED THAT CHAPTER (ch40) SO JENO PUNCHED THE MIRROR INSTEAD AND IF I MAKE A REVAMP AND DO KILL OFF JISUNG ITLL STAY THAT WAY ok anyway

b) renle's fake relationship and jisung/jaemin's immediate cringe reaction to it LMAOOOOO totally deleting that wtf was i thinking re-reading that made me puke in my stomach

c) the almost-smut chaps LMAOOOO THOSE MAKE ME CRINGE i was such a try-hard making it all artsy and dragging it out ahjdjfjfjfeweweweweeeeeeeeee ewe e-e there'll be a kiss scene but whether it'll have heavy sexual connotations or not... LMAOOOOO cringe cringe cringe ok next

d) lol should salami girl get a name or nah

e) salami girl finna be 10000% less psycho around jeno in the revamp don't even worry

e) and finally, jisung's death... ya see, i don't want there to noT be a death but if i kill jisung it'll be too predictable and unoriginal so maybe i'll kill someone else but then that'll seem like i'm trying too hard and that i'm really the type of author who just lives for killing off her characters haha oops i am. if i do write a death, i'll improve it. i feel like i dragged out his death but also didn't at the same time..??? im not sure how to describe but there's just something abt the way it was written that makes me unsatisfied. maybe it was bc it was my first time writing a death and showing in-depth the characters' grief and how they tried and managed to continue living their lives? idk, it's something to work and reflect on

3. should i unpublish the chapters from
this book and replace them with the new revamped ones? or write an entirely separate book altogether? (i'm leaning towards unpublishing the chaps from this book but i'm still not 100% sure)

4. should i make a new title? (i've been thinking "you fuck" (similar to the og title where its "suck you" not "fuck you" except the new one would be "you fuck" not "you suck")) or should i do "suck you (revamp)"? or keep it at "suck you"?

5. what specific scenes did you like in this book that you would want to be kept in the revamp? (for example, i really like the new years scene from chap idfk where jen and jaem fight but then get all cuddly, and ill keep that in the revamp but i wanna know other scenes you guys would like for to keep (preferably small ones, bc i'll decide abt the major plot points)

i'll probably add more questions as i think of them.

for those wondering about crimson, i think i've addressed this on my message board, but when i first thought of the idea i was super into it and i actually wrote the entire story, it's all in my drafts. but when re-reading it, it was messier than suck you so i wanted to edit everything (plot, characters, events, e v e r y t h i n g) but i've been so stuck on editing:( i'm so sorry for making you all wait. i'm a little less into the idea of it, but i still want to edit it and publish it.
