||Otabek Altin||

I woke up pretty late that morning and it took me a moment to remember where I was. That's right, I'm in Russia with Yuri.

Speaking of Yuri, I glanced over at the bed next to mine and saw him. But to my surprise, he was still fast asleep.

I climbed out of my bed and walked up to his. I laughed when I noticed all his cats were cuddled up next to him. He looked...really cute. But if I ever told him that, he would dropkick me into the sun for sure.

Anyway, Yuri just looked really innocent and adorable and I felt the need to protect him from the cruel outside world. But that's not weird, right?

I quickly got ready for the day- even if we missed most of it- and walked into his kitchen. I wanted to make breakfast for them two of us, but I found it would be rude to cook in someone else's kitchen without permission. I thought over what I should do and decided to just go to the store and get donuts or something for the two of us. I sent Yuri a text of where I'd be in case he woke up while I was gone and left.

||Third Person||

The small Russian slowly regained consciousness with a tiny groan. He sat up from the soft sheets and stretched his arms, his blond locks falling in front of his sleepy face.

Yuri rubbed his tired eyes and glanced at the bed beside him to see no one in it.

Yuri shrugged it off, Otabek was probably in the living room or something. But he was too lazy to get up and check.

The teenager grabbed his phone from beside him and turned it on, the bright screen shining in his eyes. His phone vibrated as he got word of some notifications. Otabek had texted him.

Yuri looked over the text and how it said he was getting breakfast for the two and placed the phone down. But to his surprise, it began to vibrate once more. Yuri groaned in annoyance and noticed a caller. Viktor Nikiforov.

Yuri sighed and answered the call with a meaningless, "Hello?"

"Yurio! Oh, it's been so long since me and Yuuri have talked to you! We missed you so much! How are you?" Victor asked in a bright, happy manor like always. Yuri sighed.

"I'm fine. I suppose Katsudon is there too?" He asked them with no sense of excitement in his voice.

In response, he got a faint, "Hey, Yurio!" It was Yuuri Katsuki.

"Of course..." Yuri trailed off, "Now why did you call me, shitheads?"

Victor whined, "Can't a father call his son to check up on him? Me and Yuuri have missed you!"

Yuri gagged and raised his voice, "Ew, I'm not your goddamn son, dumbass!"

Viktor laughed, not seeming intimidated by the smaller Russian at all.

"So, Yurio, what are you up to?" Yuuri asked, his voice louder than before. Yuri gave them a brief summary of what was going on.

"Well, Otabek came over. He's not here right now though." Yuri simply answered.

Viktor's tone turned sly and mischievous, "Ooooh, I see you got yourself a boyfriend, Yurio! You lucky bastard!"

"Our little Yurio, growing up so fast! He's becoming a man before our eyes."

Yuri didn't know if the crying from the other end was fake or real, but he hated it anyway.

Yuri groaned and covered his face, "You dumbasses! He's a friend of mine, okay? Nothing more, nothing less! Got it?"

Vkctor laughed hysterically, "Ha! Just you wait, Yurio, that 'friend' of yours will soon become your boyfriend. I'd bet a million dollars on that!"

"I agree, everyone can see it happening!"

"Then I'd be filthy rich by the end of this. Me and Otabek are not dating and never will, now let's drop this topic. Actually, I'd rather just hang up now. It is literally the worst feeling talking to you two."

Yuri hung up on the skater couple without another world. He shut off his phone and lied back down, falling into yet another sleep. Even if it was practically the afternoon by now.

Otabek stared down at the small sleeping Russian in awe as he slept beside him. He sat on the other half of the bed and awaited for him to awake. It'd be too rude to wake up the peacefully sleeping Yuri manually.

Otabek thought it wouldn't hurt to lie down beside Yuri. He just felt the urge to be closer to him than he already was.

A small groan came from the smaller figure beside him as he began to wake. Yuri's blue-green eyes fluttered open with a small yawn.

"Oh. Afternoon, Yuri." Otabek greeted from beside him. Yuri rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked towards to familiar voice.

Yuri smiled when he saw it was Otabek.

"Oh, hey." Yuri was still a bit delusional from his slumber. But he quickly jumped to his senses and realized that Otabek was lying beside him on his bed, "Wait, B-Beka, what are you doing in my bed!?" Yuri's cheeks where the color of roses.

"Huh? Oh, I guess it was kind of rude of me to lie here without your permission. I apologize." Otabek began to climb out of bed but Yuri frantically stopped him.

"W-Wait! No, it's fine. I-I really don't mind you lying beside me. I mean, not in a weird way. I just...-"

Otabek smiled and lied back down beside Yuri. He was happy to lie beside him for a bit longer.

"Okay. I guess I'll stay here."

The two skaters awkwardly lied beside each other, not saying a word. Only looking into each other's eyes.

"...Mind if I get closer?" Otabek asked hesitantly.

"No."

Otabek got closer to Yuri, their bodies inches from touching. The only sound in the room was soft breathing and the faint noise of cats walking around the room.

"We're pretty close right now..." Otabek pointed out. His cheeks were slightly pink.

Yuri, on the other hand, was blushing to the max.

"Y-Yeah."

"Um, are you uncomfortable by my close presence?"

"No, what makes you think that?"

"Well, you always turn red whenever I get closer to you."

"I-I'm just like that." Yuri looked off to the side, "But don't worry about it, Beka. I sorta like being this close to you."

Otabek was relieved to hear this. He enjoyed being close to the smaller boy.

"Okay. Sorry, again."

"What's with you apologizing so much today?" Yuri asked, with a confused grin.

"Oh, I guess I just want to make sure you're comfortable with me getting close with you."

"Well, you're in luck. I love being close to you."

The two began to move even closer, ready to embrace each other but Yuri's cat beat them too it, immediately cuddling up to Yuri.

Otabek cleared his throat and changed the subject, "So, uh, I bought us donuts."

Yuri's eyes lit up with excitement, "Donuts!? Why the fuck didn't you say so!?"

Yuri jumped out of bed and sprinted off into the kitchen. Only to see one of Yuri's cats eating through the donuts.

"Beka, fuck off!" Yuri said as he picked up the black cat and placed him onto the floor.

"...Me?" Otabek asked as he entered the room.

"No, my stupid cat ate through a portion of this donut." Yuri said in annoyance as he looked at the half-eaten donut. Otabek chuckled at the sight as Yuri bit into a pink frosted donut.

"That was my donut he ate. Oh well."

Yuri saw his friend's slight disappointment and tore off a piece of his donut. "You can have some of mine. Oh, I guess you could just eat one in the box, but I insist."

Otabek took his friend's offering and warmly smiled, "Thank you, Yura."

"No prob, bob." Yuri's voice was muffled due to his mouth stuffed with donut. He gave his friend a thumbs up signal. Otabek did the same.

"Your bed hair is really cute, Yura. I'm surprised I only noticed now." Otabek said as he pet Yuri's blond locks.

"Gahh, you jerk. It's embarrassing when you compliment me right off the bat and then give me that look." Yuri complained. Otabek chuckled as he run his fingers through Yuri's soft hair.

"Whoa, it's so soft. How do you get it to be this smooth?" Asked Otabek, fascinated by Yuri's beyond gorgeous hair.

"I don't know. I just do whatever." Yuri said, clearly embarrassed but secretly enjoyed Otabek playing with his hair.

Otabek snuggled his face into Yuri's soft hair and hugged him from behind. Yuri's cheeks were, once again, red.

"I-I- Wha-What are you doing!?" Yuri was startled by the unexpected movement.

"Oh- I guess I'm letting my affectionate side show too much. I'll stop." Otabek said as he shifted back to his original position. Yuri felt slightly bad, he didn't at all mind what Otabek did. But it was too late anyway.

"So...movie?" Otabek suggested, grabbing the remote from beside him. He looked at Yuri with a blank face.

"Oh- um, yes."

Yuri couldn't help but feel guilty throughout the entire movie.
