"Where are we going?" Thomas asked. Virgil was leading his through the woods.

"You'll see when we get there Thomas." Virgil chuckled. He looked over his shoulder just in time to see Thomas trip. Out of instinct he caught Thomas.

Thomas offered the emo vampire a soft smile and stood up right. Virgil thought for a moment before motioning Thomas to get on his back.

"Get on. I'll give you a ride." Virgil smiled. Thomas nodded and hopped on. "Hold on tight!"

Thomas did as he was told and Virgil started running. Thomas held on tighter and buried his face in Virgil's shoulder. "S-slow down!"

Virgil slowed down, but only because they had made it to their destination. Virgil carefully put a sick looking Thomas down and helped the dizzy man stand. "Careful Thomas. Wouldn't want you getting hurt. Next time, close your eyes."

Virgil gently grabbed his hand and lead his to an open field. Thomas gasped at the sight. There were flowers growing everywhere. The two went into the field but when Thomas went to turn to Virgil, the emo wasn't there.

"V-Virgil?" Thomas asked, looking around. He couldn't spot the emo.

"You shouldn't stand so close to me." Virgil replied. His voice sounding near. Thomas followed his voice. He spotted Virgil in a tree.

"What do you mean?" Thomas asked confused. Virgil jumped out of the tree.

"I'm dangerous Thomas." He punched a tree, leaving a giant hole in it. "I'm stronger than you think! I'm faster than a normal human!" He was now behind Thomas.

Thomas looked behind him and saw Virgil covering his mouth with a hand.

"Your blood is like a drug to me. So inviting and hard to ignore." Virgil removed his hand cautiously. Thomas took a step near Virgil, causing the emo to disappear again. This time, he was by a patch of sunlight.

"Do you want to know why I can't be seen in the sun?" Virgil asked, looking into Thomas' eyes. The brunette man nodded. Virgil hesitantly took his jacket off and stepped into the sunlight.

His face and arms sparkled like a thousand diamonds. Thomas gasped in shock and amazement. He walked over to Virgil and smiled.

"It's amazing!" Thomas complimented. Virgil put his jacket back on. He shook his head, causing his purple bangs to fall into his face.

Thomas reached up to move his hair, not noticing how Virgil's breathing hitched. Virgil flinched back as Thomas placed a hand gently on his cheek.

"The lion fell in love with the lamb..." Virgil murmured. He couldn't stop himself from leaning close to Thomas.

"What are you doing?" Thomas asked genuinely confused. Virgil hummed in response.

"Getting used to your scent. That way I won't get thirsty every time I smell you." Virgil explained before giving him a smile and going back to the field. Thomas followed.

They sat down and had a small conversation about vampires and why the myths were wrong. Then Thomas laid back to cloud watch, Virgil joined him.

Their fingers touched and they smiled at each other. The sun came out and Virgil's exposed skin started sparkling. Thomas couldn't help but smile even more in amazement.
