"Aaravos. Aaravos. Aaravos. Your name sounds powerful." I look at him.
"I am the most powerful being in this world." Aaravos smiles.
He gives me another fruit. I take it and bite into it.
"You know my name. I would like to know yours." He says.
"My name?" I ask.
I put the fruit down. I grip my head. What is it? What is my name? My head is an empty ocean. I can't remember my own name. I can't remember anything.
"I... don't know." I sigh.
How can I not know my own name? How can I not know who I am? But I don't. I'm like a baby. My mind knows nothing. He lifts my chin up with his hand.
"If you do not know, I'll pick one for you." He smiles.
"I'd like that." I nod.
He puts his hand on his chin like he's thinking.
"Ah yes. You look like a Yi Ku." He says.
"Yi Ku. Yi Ku. Yi Ku. Yeah I like that." I smile.
"You may not know who you are, but I know you have potential." He stands up.
He touches my arm. I blink and I'm in a new place. A place of books. The walls are blue. I look at him. His hair is white, and his skin is blue. I draw back. I look at myself. I'm transparent now. I'm purple and transparent.
"What is this?" I ask him.
"Magic Yi Ku. A word that you will learn so much about." He takes a book.
He tosses it to me. I take it. I flip through the pages. Runes. Knowledge. This stuff looks like dream. Familiar but not real. I run my fingers over the pages.
"What does all this mean?" I ask him.
He turns to me.
"I have use for you. I can sense your power. I want to teach you everything. Every magical spell I hold. Would you become my apprentice?" He asks.
I look at him. I look at the pages. Maybe this is it. Maybe he knows me. I know nothing. It would be great to learn something again. I would be nice to finally understand who I am. Or what I am. I walk forward. I come to my knees.
"Yes master." I say.
Aaravos smiles.
