I wake up in a startle. Sweat pours down my face. My hands shake. I grip myself.
"Calm down Yi Ku. It's just a dream." I say.
"It's more than that." A voice says.
I jump. I turn. I see Master Aaravos. I get up and come to my knees. He bows his head. I stand up.
"What does it mean?" I ask.
"Dreams are often pieces of memory. You lost yours remember?" He asks.
I nod. I look at up at him.
"What does it mean?" I ask.
"It must be a piece of your memory. Let's see if this helps." He draws a rune on my forehead.
Images flash in my head. I see a man hoisting me up. A sea elf. He has a mustache and hair on his chest. Who is he? Is this a memory? I see other people to. I see a great dragon arched on a stone. One is a little boy. The second is a grown man. The third is an elf with white hair. She looks like the same person in my dream. Is this a piece of my memory? It must be. I hear yelling.
I watch as that man throws me into the ocean. I feel the cold. I feel the storm. The images fade and I breathe heavily. I come to my knees.
"What was that?" I ask Master Aaravos.
"A piece of the puzzle. You will remember more as you go on your journey. Now go on. We will talk later." Aaravos fades.
I do a bow.
"Yes, master." I say.
