Short Talk

I awoke quickly to the sound of others walking past my cabin and a sound of a guitar. The flag the man from before was displaying up on the pole made no sense at all. Japan? Asia? America? Africa? Did he stitch this?

ell, it didn't matter. I got up and got dressed quickly. Not caring if I was late for some lame gathering. Wait. Yes I do!

I hurried out the bed and went with the others. Huge fields from our cabins and a forest almost circling us.

"Alright fellas! I'm gonna tell you all the rules, in a form of a song."

Are you kidding me?

By the time it is over my ears will be bleeding and looping the song over and over.

"That's all, just remember, don't go too far from this camp because we do not hold responsibility for anything that happens to you, do not go swimming when the moon hits the lake and be careful of your surroundings."

At least that wasn't a song.

"Rey-chan!" I heard someone say as the guy smiled and walked over to the guy I planned on sharing a cabin with.

"Sup!" They started walking.

His name is Rey? Wonderful, I know his name, now I would like to know a few other things.

I started to follow them.

After a moment they took a stop and sat down near a lake. I narrow my eyes to see the other guy with his phone, were phones even allowed? I don't remember the song.

The other guy was flipping through something, maybe pictures.

Rey giggled.

I squeaked to the sound of it.

They both turn around, at that moment I tried to keep myself hidden behind the tree.

That's how he laughs?

He giggled, the sound like a brook flowing merrily through a well-lit wood.

It was....amazing! But I would like to share a laugh with him and not that other guy.

I turn to check and see if their still looking at me. They had stopped and I took a breathed in relief.

They got up and started walking again, dammit!

"I gonna go take a piss." The other guy said, I smile, knowing he'd be gone away from Rey at the moment but for how long? How long could I chat with him before he came back? Hmm

Rey was still walking as he nodded and the guy walked a different way. I don't want to miss him! But... I don't want that guy to interfere.

Instead. I followed that guy, maybe...some...small talk.

"Hey!" I said as if I was happy thab as I walked behind him, putting a hand over his eyes and mouth. I said, "Now if you don't mind, don't talk to my Rey, okay?"

'My' I repeated in my head but it just made me feel even better.

He nods.

"What's your name?" I was speaking in a lower voice but my voice was just a little squeaky any way I tried to change it.

"C-chu." He stuttered out.

"Okay, chu, stay away from my man or I'll kill you." Was I really going to kill him?

Rey called his name, his voice, he laughed a little when he did. He must of found something interesting.

A night in his cabin!

Oh hell, be a murder or get to have all the nights in the same room.

My mind was drifting with ways to keep him away but as I looked down I was drowning the guy. I had knocked him out and took him to the lake they were at.

Oh my God.

I started to walk away, running up to Rey while he was just laying their.

"Hey, chu i- your not chu." Rey seemed concerned.

I hadn't realized I was panting but I still was smiling and shrugged.

"He went back to camp....I think." I simply said and Rey just started to walk again.

I took a deep breath.
