Avni snaps out of her zone hearing a familiar voice & looks at her left side and widens her eyes.......

"YOU...!!!"

"What!? Ain't you happy seeing me here Ms.Mehta!!"-the person furrows at her while Avni's expression was still the same

"You are the least person I can expect here right now"-Avni rubs her eyes to confirm that she wasn't seeing things, the person chuckles seeing her actions.....

"I'm really here gulabjamun"-the person giggles while Avni widens her eyes more, if it's even possible......

"Dumboooooo tu kaise......kab aayi wapas aur mujhe pehle kyu nahi bataya ki aane wali hai?? Aur,,aur tu........."-she gets cuts off by a pair of hand which covered her mouth preventing her to say something more.......

Hiba Nawab as Amaya Sindhi:She is a funny & bubbly girl but at the same time feisty also. Always stays happy & also keeps others happy. She is an orphan, her parents died in a plane crash when she was in 10th grade. Though they left a good amount of money, wealth on her name she still does a part time job in a cafe. She enjoys her life to the fullest. For her life is fun & friends are life.

I was so happy after seeing my another best-est friend other than Riyali.

Oh you guys don't know her na, I'll tell y'all about her. She is a sweetheart. Amy oops I mean Amaya. We met in primary school. And since then we are bffs. Our group just involves around the 4 of us,,,,,Riya, Ali, Me & Amaya. After high school I got probability in this college bcz of my scholarship otherwise I don't have the standard to study in a college like this anyway. And to stay with me these 3 also took admission in the same college...

'Ain't they are the best bffs!? Obviously they are,, I so love them'

Again my happy thoughts gets broken when Amaya shook me....

"What now!?"-I spat at her angrily while she gives me an enliven look....

Urrgghhh, don't know what has happened to me today. I'm just bursting out on everyone......

"Clam down there gurl!! For now listen to what principal is saying cz after that you have a lot to explain"-she narrows her eyes at me pulling up the corner of her lips into a stupid smirk

'Avni you are screwed today'

Sighing I turns towards our principal, Amaya is right there is a lot to explain to her.

"Hello students, I've a notice for all of you"-Principal says gaining everyone's attention, all looks at him paying full centralization while I'm sitting here as rattle like a scared kitten.......

'what if he is gonna say something to me!! Oh no what will I do?? Damn you Neil Khanna today you will be definitely dead😭'

"So as tomorrow is Holi we are arranging a Holi party in the campus as always & for that today your classes got called off form 3rd period,, means you all have only 2 classes today & then you all are free to go home"-principal states smilingly while everyone cheered, & Principal starts leaving while I was dancing in my mind

But my happiness didn't last long when he stopped & turns to me,, why I had to sit on the first bench today,,,my luck is so poxy today......

'What on the earth has happened to me'

Not knowing what to do or say I just nodded while he smiles......"I've conceded your brother, Dihan to stay inside the campus don't worry"-with that he walks out of the classroom.

'Dihan??? My brother...??? From when did he became my brother!!? What the hell is happening!?!?'

"What was that for?? What happened to you & why the hell you didn't tell me anything!?"-here we go

"Amy shanti rakh thodi idiot"-Riya hits the back of her head while she glares at Riya

"And from when did you have a brother? Aur mujhe pata bhi nahi jabki main itne saalo se dost hu tumhari aur yeh janti ayi hu ki you don't have any sibling"-she rambles again royally ignoring Riya

"Mujhe bhi aaj balki abhi pata chala ki mere bhai bhi hai"-I murmurs, Amaya gives me a confusing look & was about to say something but Riya pressed her palm over Amaya's mouth...."Shhhhhh"-Amaya wiggles in her grip giving Riya a death glare

"Guyz concentrate on the class please"-I interferes them, keeping my eyes only on the board as if nothing happened.

Amaya huffs in annoyance stomping her foot making me giggle...."What!?"-she spats irritatingly

"Nothing,, just that you are so cute sometimes"-pulling her cheek I gives a flying kiss to her which made her grin widely

"I love you meri gulabjamun"-she wraps her arms around mines & both of us laughs quietly.

After that we all concentrated on the class taking all the notes & blah blah....Soon the ring bells indicating that the first period is over. We have 15 min break before the exam & everyone left for canteen, so we decided to stay in the class only....

[I don't know if this kinda breaks exists or not cz Corona isn't allowing me to step out of the school😭😭Ya know guyz I was supposed to be in college 1st year now but bcz of this Corona😬I'm still stuck in last year of school😐😑meri takleef, meri dukh kisko kahu😭😭]

"Guyz let's go shopping for tomorrow's party what's say?"-Riya exclaims happily with shining eyes

'She & her obsession for shopping'

"I'm done today"-Ali murmurs making me & Amaya laugh out loud.....

"Did you say something baby,, I didn't hear please repeat"-Riya asks politely but her cold tone screams anger while we tries to suppress our laugh

Ali gulps down in fear...."N..no baby I meant it's per..fect aur aaj toh college bhi jaldi khatam hojayega so yeah I'm up for it"-Ali said in a go,, poor Ali....

"I'm in"-Amaya said still laughing

"I know u will be ready idiot, Avu what about you??"

"Umm I don't know really. Moreover what will I do there"-I replied shrugging

"We are going there for giving exam, now you have no other option but to join us"-Amaya finished with a tight lipped smile.

"Mall,, for exam!!! Incredible combo"-Ali laughed while Riya glares at him sideways😒

"Shut up you noddle-boy😑,,, Avu you doesn't have a choice, you are coming & that's final"-Amy states leaving no room for an contretemps

"Okay okay I'll try"-I huffs capitulating

Just then Dihan walks in the class with his phone pressed on his ear......

'As if it's something new'-I rolled my eyes thinking this & turns my face.

"Tell your Boss, am not in a mood to talk right now"-I said loud & clear enough for Neil to listen

Dihan keeps looking at me like I'm some crazy creature, when I raised my brow at him he clears his throat & opens his mouth to say something but I didn't let him to do that......

"If he wants to talk with me, he should've called ME on MY phone not YOURS"-I may sound waspish but my reasoning was exactly correct,,,yeah!!

"Boss have already called you so many times but you didn't pick up, that's why he called me"-the satisfied look on my face disappears making me frown.....

"When did he ca..........."-my eyes widens automatically seeing the notification on my phone screen

"Boss said he will call you"-with that he left the class,, and dang!! My phone starts ringing.....'Shoot'

"He..hello"-i mewed lowly while he sighs sharply from the other side

"This is the 50th call Ms. Avni Mehta"-this was his first outburst "Are you mad or what!!! No actually you are most probably deaf"-he growls in annoyance but I should be the one to get mad here, right....

"I'm not mad nor deaf but you are a greatest stupid Mr.Khanna for sure Mr.Neil Khanna"-I whisper-yells on the phone walking out of the class

"Oh really!!! I think everyone knows it better"-he says sarcastically

"For once in life listen to others first Avni"-huffing I pinched the bridge of my nose...."And if you were tensioning about rustication then it wouldn't have happen in the first place, so relax"-can't she understand this simple thing!

"Why? Are you the principal!! Nhi na, phir itne yakeen se kaise keh rahe ho"-she mocks at me.

"That Principal of yours, doesn't have the audacity to rusticate you, and Dihan needs to be there with you cz.............."-no I can't tell her, she will take superfluous tension

"Why did you stop, go ahead.....Why can't principal kick me out, it's his college after all & why the hell does Dihan needs to be with me?? I'm not a baby whom you are trying to babysit"-she sounds grumpy & I can imagine her rolling her eyes....

'Only if she knew, how much of a baby she is!!!"

"You know what just leave all this, I have to go for a meeting. So quickly answer me, did you eat & took your medicines?"-I made up an excuse changing the topic, otherwise she will dig more into it

'It's not the right time for her to know about this'

"Yup, just now"

"Medicine!?"

"Umm, not yet"-she mumbles lowly

"Why?"-she must be pouting right now

"Aree what why!! Abhi toh break mili hai khalungi na"-she replies huffing, before I could reply DD knocks on the door

"Okay listen I gotta go now but don't you dare to skip the medicines"-I said sternly & was ready to cut the call hearing a low mumble of 'ok' from her side.....

"Wait!!!"-I stopped when she suddenly speaks

"Yes, You need anything!!?"-I asked patiently, though there isn't even a tiniest bit of patience in me right now........

"Umm,,wo actually....Di..did y..ou..."-she fumbles nervously which made me frown.....

"Avni....everything is okay there right!!! Why are you all tensed up?? Tell me clearly....."-i asked now being more worried....

'Nothing happened there yet, right..!!!'

My thoughts broke hearing her soft whispering......"D..did you ha..d an..anything yourself?"-I had to rethink her lines in my mind to exactly understand what she meant

I felt my lips tugging up, curving a smile on my face.

' Seems like Ms. Mehta is concern about me'-but I was quick to stop myself before clearing my throat

"Y..yeah,thanks for your concern btw"-I finished while signing DD to come inside....

"Okay then bye"-she replies back while nodding in approval I hang up.

"Did you completed your given work"-I asked DD while opening my laptop

"Yes Sir, I called the principal & got all the classes postponed"-he replies confidently

"Hmm, good"-I said typing on the keyboard

"Don't worry Sir, he won't be able to get near mam"-DD speaks, trying to lessen the tension in the room

"He better don't, otherwise you guys won't like the repercussion"-I said blankly

Around 4 pm I left for home, I have a very important meeting at 6 pm & for that I need to freshen up & clear my mind from all the happenings. When I stepped in the house I was welcomed with silence which is unusual.

Before getting in my room I decided to check on Avni, I knocked on her door 2 times but she didn't open the door nor respond.......'Maybe she is taking a nap'

Walking off to my room I drank some water, then taking a pair of suit I gets in the shower. Standing under the shower, I closed my eyes........'Should I tell her about him or not'-I'm not understanding anything.......

Shaking off my thoughts I comes out after wearing my clothes, I was fixing my shirt buttons when some sounds came from outside. Swiftly turning around I comes out only to find Avni walking towards the stairs to go downstairs dressed in some denim jeans paired with a peach color crop top while her hair were tied up in a high ponytail....'Cute'

Shut up!!

"Avni"-she jumps in her place & stops walking but didn't turn "Where are you going!?"

She turns slowly & sighs sharply...."Gosh!! Are you planning on give me a heart attack or what!"-she scowls keeping her hand on the right side of her chest while glaring at me

"Sorry, I didn't meant to scare you. But are you going somewhere?"-I asked again

"Oh! Yes, actually tomorrow is holi party at college so me & my friends are going for a quick shopping"-she answered smiling

"Oh, ok but be back soon"-she nods & starts walking but soon realization hits me......"Wait Avni, you can't go out"-I stops her immediately as I remembered something very important

'No, I can't let her go out. It may cause risk for her & my baby'

They all wondered around different shops in the mall. While DD was patiently following Avni, wherever she goes he will be right behind her.....

Oh!! Y'all must be thinking how did DD is here in place of Dihan.....

Well DD came instead of Dihan bcz Dihan took leave for half of the day as he have a very important work to do. Avni was first very amused thinking he really have something salient other than his great work, which is roaming around her but she was so happy that she could finally shop without a 'living-moving CCTV camera' around her all the time. But obviously her rapture didn't last long bcz of 'The great & overprotective Billionaire',, who was adamant enough not to let her go alone. When Avni tried to dissent,, he just left her with 2 clear lines........

"Either DD is going with you...
Or You are being locked up in the house"

It wasn't any suggestion, it was an order & his voice was clear like 'dare you try me'

Being out of option & Avni had to take DD with her.

Riya:You guyz look around & buy meanwhile we go & try them on....(indicating to Ali whose both arm was full of clothes, making weird faces)

They nods holding back the laugh which was threatening to burst out. Avni, Amaya walks towards a dress shop looking at different dresses.

Amaya:Avu see how is it!! (she said holding a short white dress)

Avni:Cool. It will look good on you...

Amaya:Really!! Should I try??

Avni:Zaroor (grinning)

Amaya:Okay jab tak main try karti hu tum bhi kuch choose karlo jaldi se (she said with a pointed look while Avni rolls her eyes) Am serious....(glaring)

Avni:Okay meri maa jaa ab

Amaya leaves to try her dress while Avni & DD was now alone roaming around.

Avni:You ain't gonna leave me even if I say, so come (she huffs while DD smiles)

DD:How can I leave ma'am, it's my duty to guard you....(with a smile, Avni widens her eyes)

Avni:MAM!!! Where?? I thought you came with me but you have your mam here & you didn't even told me. (she said wrapping her arms in front of her chest while taping her feet on the floor & DD was standing there being dumbfounded)

DD:I'm with you only & mam? I called YOU mam, not anyone else (he replies with a nervous laugh)

Avni:Do I look like a teacher to you?? (she furrows at him to which he immediately shook his head) Then why are you calling me mam?? For heaven's sake don't make me feel like a oldie (she huffs turning her face away)

DD:Ok...Umm I mean ho....what.......

Avni:Avni, a short & simple name why is it so tough for you (frowning she looks through the watches in the shop)

DD:Ah... Are you sure about calling you by your name!! (he scratches the back of his neck being nervous)

Avni:Hmm hmm, hundred & ten cent sure....(she smiles brightly looking at something specific)

After purchasing a handful of things she let's out a satisfied huff with glittery eyes. She & DD was returning to the previous store where Amaya & Riya was trying dozens of dresses.

Avni:Aren't you guys done yet? See main puri mall ghum ke agayi & y'all are still stuck in this single store...(she huffs rolling her eyes)

Ali:This is why I consider you as the wisest among them....(he murmurs to Avni who giggles in return)

Riya:We heard that baby...(she grits, glaring at Ali who makes crying faces) Btw Avu we are stick in here cz this store have all the latest collections (she beams in pure beatification)

Amaya:But you tell, why went to the gent's section....(her lips was tugged up in smug smirk)

Avni:You have nothing to do with that...(she spits back acting naive) But I really don't want you to run your dumb brain unnecessarily so lemme clear it to you that I went there to buy some gifts.....(she gives her a tight lipped smile)

Amaya:May I know for whom?? (she again smirks)

Avni:No you don't....(her reply was immediate & short, shutting Amaya along)

Riya:Avu see this, we selected it for you....(Riya smiles giddily at Avni while holding out a white gown in front of her) For tomorrow.

Avni:I don't need this, I have many white dresses. And just for reminding you both I have already bought some dresses....(pointing at the bags DD was holding)

Even after Avni's some lame blackmails DD didn't let her pick a single bag. Saying it was his work for the day.

Amaya:Cool but that's some casual wears & for tomorrow you have to take this one......(she said with a determined voice)

Avni huffs before agreeing. After about half an hour they finally left the mall. Avni was willing to visit Neela-ma & after a lot of pleadings DD finally gave in, so now they were driving towards the hospital now.... Avni comes out from the car before taking a red small bag with her & walks inside the hospital with DD right behind her. Avni was literally beaming while walking when suddenly someone collides with her, she looks up in utter annoyance but gets flabbergasted seeing the person standing in front of her...................................
