She is sleeping so peacefully that her this serene face took my sleep away, I'm inadequate to take off my eyes from her cherubic face.

Sitting on the couch in my room I was ludicrously staring at her sleeping plight from past an hour now. Even if I'm aggravating to take off my eyes from her & centralize on anything & everything which is in my circumambient but every time I flunk to do so, my gaze only demolishes on her. It feels like not a dicky bird is supplementary crucial in the world other than those rose petals in the form her lips, her doe shaped eyes which is full of innocence, & her those long lashes,,,Gosh to be unprejudiced I really love the way her long lashes kisses her cheeks whenever she abuts her eyes but at the same time I feel acquisitive that it has the entittlement to do so.....

'Did I just said,, I'm jealous! What the heck.....Where did it came from...?'

Neil shut your this culvert mind-shutting my eyes unyielding, I clenched my jaw in exasperation...... I-don't-wanna-estimate-about-her.

Looking away from her I methodized the pillow on the couch. Laying down I gapes up at the creamy ceiling of my room. Why my etiquette is like this towards her? I..I can't be like this! Not with anyone, not with her.......She is my freaking Surrogate. I can't get affectionate towards her. No, never...!!

Closing my eyes I tried to compose myself. Everything is just so idiosyncratically new to me........

When I was much tranquillized I opened my eyes & turns to my right side to welcome sleep & again my eyes fells on her empyrean face but a immediate-frown appears on my face seeing a little discomfort-frown on her face, my eyes locomotes from her face to her hand which was lazing on the side of her face in relaxation awhile ago now clutching the pillow tightly....

Her brows amalgamated together whilst a small cough broke through her lips.

Avni snaps open her eyes which exactly alighted on mine & the next second she jounces up sitting straight which caused me to jolt up too....'What's wrong...!?'

"Av........"-Even before I could call her she jumps out of the bed & runs towards the washroom with her palm covering her mouth. Not knowing how to react on this unsolicited situation I just stayed still on my place....

'What should I do? Should I wait here for her to come out or should I go & check on her if she is ok or not! But won't it encroach her private space if I go inside...!'

My ramblings comes to an culmination when I discerned her coughing nonstop. 'To hell with the repercussion'

Within a second I barged into the washroom to see Avni regurgitating her guts out, tears were rolling down her eyes bcz of the thwack. Walking towards her slowly I raised my hand & ambivalently rubs her back, not knowing exactly what to do.......

"Relax,,you...you will be fine"-I said trying to serenity her when she finishes throwing up but from inside I'm freaking out,, she nods stumbling back inadequate to stand still on her feet but I caught her on time which resulted her to slope on my chest....."A..Avni you ok..? I think we should go to the hospital or at least contact with a doctor,,your.........."

"Calm down Neil"-she purrs wiping her face with a towel..."It's accustomed in pregnancy & I'll get acclimatized of it in some days......maybe"-she added debilitatingly

"What do you mean...? Does it supervene everyday...?"-it's absurd,,,right......!!!

Shaking my head I throw this kinda thoughts out of the window. Okay next,,,

His nose looks cute & those eyes,, oh gosh his hazel brown orbs is so pulchritudinous that if sometimes I espies at them than I forgot what I was doing....

And his hairs are my favourite, those chocolate brown hairs looks so lustrous that I wants to run my hand through his hair but to my bad luck I never got the chance. A very few hairs were falling on his forehead making his well proportioned face looking as pretty as a picture.

My train of thoughts abruptly broke when someone oscillated me,, "What"-looking up at the person angrily to give him a piece of mind who muddled me, instead I gasps.....

'Shoot shoot shoot, damn he caught me gaping at him'

Now I just wanna annihilate that stupid smirk out of his face so woefully,,Urghh.

"Done checking me out...?"-his smirks depends while my cheeks heated up in mortification.

I didn't even vigilance when he came this close to me but our faces were inches apart from each other. Any manoeuvre from any of us & our lips will plough into each other. The more he is leaning down the more my breath is getting thin, my throat dried up impeding any word to come out. My blood was thumping in my heart so fast that it may eruption anytime. I'm daunt he may perception it, but his eyes never left my lips. Our nose collides together sending a set of enrapture feeling through my veins & his lips was about to place on mine when my inner-consciousness wallop.

'No Avni you can't let that to eventuate,, it's fallacious. You are only his Surrogate & people will say you took advantage of him, this baby & his money, his fame.....'

Gulping down hardly, again I looks up at his eyes,, which was only on my lips.......'Avni focus'

"Ne..Neil"-i whispers to him which went to deaf ears......."N..Neil"-this time I called him a lil louder & he snap his eyes at me blankly, not saying anything so gulping down I decided to break the cumbrous silence...."It...it's gett..ing late,,w..e should sle..ep"-Neil wrenches back promptly as if till now he was in some daze....

He looked at anything & everything which is in the room but me,,, and I can't kvetch either as I'm doing the same. Closing his eyes he runs a hand through his hair & exhales sharply...."Ye..yeah you need rest..."-he finally speaks whilst all I could do was just to nod. But before I could lay down he again enunciates..."Wait!! You need to eat something first, you didn't even had your dinner & medicine yet"

"Bu........."-and he was already out of the room.....

Huhh now I have to gollop those meanie bitter medicines...😷

After sometimes Neil came back with a plate full of foods & hands it to me without looking at me in the eyes.....

"Here have some food & don't even try to fuss for taking medicines"-he states in a tone which says he is final & don't want anymore altercations.....

Though I would have blow him up but after whichever happened between us moments ago, I don't wanna drag any kinda consultation more.....

So I just nodded at him & takes the plate from him slowly while he goes to take out my medicine......

"Why ain't you eating...?You need something else....!"-he questioned as I was not eating.

"Nope,,am waiting for you"-replying shortly I looks up at Neil who is giving me a intricating look

"Why?"

"I know you also didn't have your dinner so come & have it otherwise I'm also not gonna eat"-I pushed the plate a lil far away from me while he sighs clenching his jaw

"You don't need to do all this, I'll eat whenever I'll feel like to,, so eat & sleep...."-he resumes doing his work

'What does he conjecture of himself!? Huhh!!!'

Frowning at him frenziedly I put half of my food in another plate & placed it in front of him. He looks at me whammy,,,or,,,beguile, whatever I'm not gonna look at him. He is a jerk....🙅

[I wonder if this paltry etiquette of him proves Neil a jerk to her then what will Avni do when she will actually spectator the real Neil Khanna😂😁]

But from the corner of my eyes I noticed him rubbing his temple while puffing out a deep breath through his lips & shook his head before glancing at me so I just centralized on my food & starts shoving them in my mouth, not sparing any single glance at him.

After a lot of evaluation he took the plate slowly & ingests the meal. I did a victory dance in my mind but didn't show it on my face. None of us spoke anything, when we were done eating he kept the plates alongside & gives me the medicines & water, gulping down them I quietly lays down & he walks out of the room with the plates. Deciding to welcome my lovely sleep I stretches my hand to turn off the lamp light & that's when I realized that I'm still in HIS room.......

'Oh crap!!'

Before I could get up to sneak out of his room the door opens & he walks in. Seeing him I quickly covered myself with the duvet not wanting to face him anymore....

'Why all this embarrassing moments in a single day...!'

Walking inside the room with slow steps he glanced at her hesitantly, not wanting to have anymore encounter with her for today. Much to his consolation she was covered head to toe with the blanket....

He thanked his advantageousness in mind & switches off the lights,,,calling it a night he too goes to sleep.

Sleep, which was far away from his eyes.......He can't believe that he lost his grip on himself like this, he can't believe that he let his heart to overhaul his mind............

The whole time he kept tossing & turning while Avni was fast asleep.

The sunrises with a natural alarming aura for everyone to get up & start their day.....

It's 6:00am & Neil Khanna has already commenced his day. Well last night wasn't in his esteem so he couldn't sleep at all & he spent his unexpurgated night working......

After a sleepless night now he is leaving for office even before Avni could get up. But he didn't forgot to give a bunch of stipulations to the servants about Avni's thriving breakfast, her medicine as well as her lunch which he himself packed with her afternoon's medications.

Enjoining Dihan to drive her college with safety he leaves for office just before Avni opens the bedroom door & walks down still yawning,,Dihan saw her & straightens up....

Avni:Good morning everyone...(she greets all the servants while they greeted her back with a smile but Dihan stays mum to which Avni glares him sideways😒) Gooooooooood morninggggggg Dihaaaaaaaaaaaaan (she againg says putting presure on the words, specifying Dihan with a😬look)

Dihan only nods a little making her more lunatic....

Avni:Neil kaha hai...? (glaring at him)

Dihan:Boss left for office,,(Avni frowns)

Avni:Itni jaldi...!He didn't even told me (murmuring lowly the last part)

Dihan:Something important came up so he had to leave earlier....

Avni just gives him a look & left to get ready.....

Dihan drives Avni to her college. Avni gets down from the car & starts walking inside when she feels someone following behind her so she turns around & saw it's Dihan. She gives him a puzzled look cz he always stays outside the campus,,not to catch peoples extraneous surveillance.

Avni:What......(raising an brow)

Dihan:It's an order not to leave your side....(he assorted in his usual robotic voice)

Avni:What do mean by 'not to leave my side'.....?(she said in disbelief) You know you can't come inside the campus,,it will draw unnecessary & suspicious attention from others,,,(she huffs in annoyance) And moreover Principal won't gave authorization for it...(giving a cheeky smirk)

Dihan:You don't have to worry about it, Boss has already taken care of that.....(he retaliates in the same tone)

Avni:The purgatory with you & your that bumptious Boss....(she mutters vexingly)

Dihan fights the urges not to chuckle & get killed by her then & there. Avni walks towards her class stomping her foot like a little kid, Dihan smiles a little shaking his head looking at her retired figure but straightens quickly & walks behind Avni. Still fuming she took her seat on the first bench while Riyali frowns in confusion from the 2nd bench.

Riya;Today someone is high in mood-swings....(whispering to Ali)

Ali:That's too early morning (both giggles but quickly stops not wanting to provoke her more)

Riya:Ahh Avu what happened...?

Avni:Nothing(curtly)

Riyali didn't dared to ask anything else cz they can sense she isn't in a not so good mood. When they didn't say anything Avni turns towards them & glares at them.

Avni:Why didn't u both asked me again that 'what happened'....(still glaring)

Ali:You to..........(Riya cuts him off)

Riya:Abhi puchne hi wali thi,,(giving a cheeky grin) Ab bol bhi do meri jaan kya huya...

Avni:Don't ask me what happened...(she cringes while Riyali rolled their eyes,,,,,,,inwardly)

Ali:Okay we won't ask you (Avni snaps at him with a glare) I..I mean hum tumse puchenge ki kya huya...(he adds gulping)

Avni:Wo dekho (pointing out of the window where Dihan is standing) Yeh huya hai...(gritting)

Ali:This is your bodyguard na,,,which your baby daddy has preordained.....(at his statement Avni cringes more)

Avni:He has a name...!!So stop calling him that,,will you!!(giving them a sharp look)

Riya:Okay okay but it's unequivocally for ur safety Avu......(she states it as a matter-of-fact making Avni sigh)

Avni:I know but I'm not even sure if someone is actually watching me or it's just my fascination & moreover what will other students say,,,,that till now who was a unambiguous middle class girl is now have a bodygaurde...!!! Like seriously & I don't even know what the hell has Neil said to the principal......(saying all this in-a-go she inhales sharply rubbing her temples being enervated)

Ali:Point...(nodding while Riya gives him a dead glare) I mean Avu have a point but you can call & ask him what did he said to the principal.....(he pointed out)

Avni:I called him awhile ago but he didn't answer instead left a damn msg saying he is in a meeting,,Dihan also told me earlier he has an important meeting today so he left early in the morning......

Riya:He have his own power you know na Avu,,,The biggest billionaire....(she said dreamily winking at Avni to which Avni & Ali both rolls their eyes at her talking way)

Avni:Shut.......................(she got cut by their mentor who entered in the classroom)

Sighing Avni straightens up sitting perfectly but gets trepidatious seeing the principal entering right after their teacher.......

Avni(in mind):Oh God ab kya honga,,,aur kya kya bacha hai aaj ke liye....(she starts biting on her nail in tension)

"Why so tensed!?"

Avni snaps out of her zone hearing a familiar voice & looks at her left side and widens her eyes.......

"YOU...!!!"
