★Roses★

(Lelouch's POV)

"Stupid thorns."

I trod through the garden, near my new mansion, plucking roses.

I knew that (Y/N) wouldn't be too keen to leave her new found home, however, possibly roses could ease the pain slightly.

Ugh, who am I kidding...

I looked down at the muddy footprints I had made.

She wouldn't forgive me.

But she had to understand, I'm doing this for her.

I clenched the few rose I had already in my hand, the thorns cutting in.

I don't care though anymore. I need these by tonight.

Lets just hope no one gets there before I do.

(Your POV)

It was almost dusk, the sun casting a beautiful red and orange glow across the sky.

I lifted my head up from my balcony, looking up into the sky, breathing in the fragrant smell of the ocean.

This truly was bliss.

I closed my eyes, smiling slightly.

Swish swish swish.

Huh?

I snapped my eyes open to see....

No way.

Lelouch Lamperouge was standing under my balcony, a smile plastered on his face.

"I'm not talking to you." I said plainly, getting over my shock partially as I started to turn away and leave.

"Wait. Please." He said, in an unusually sweet tone.

I raised my eyebrow, looking over the edge at him.

Lelouch raised his hand, offering me a clump of pretty pink roses.

"Hmf, as if that'll fix anything."

"I had a feeling you'd say that."

"Then why'd you bring them?"

"Because I was hoping you weren't going to say it."

"Well that was rather strange of you to do so."

"Why yes, it was." He said the last part with his usual breathy tone.

I crossed my arms, giving him a glare as I left, ignoring him call me back.

Maybe I'll just go to my living room, he won't bother me there.

I went down the stairs, quickly, walking across the kitchen to the living room.

However, around the corner I ran into a firm chest, making me stop in my tracks.

"What? How'd you get in here?" I asked, dumbfounded, as I took a step back, looking up into his mesmerizing purple eyes.

"Oh (Y/N), did you forget already?" He asked, as though I had forgotten what two times two was.

"I'm the one who gave you this house, so, naturally, I'd have an extra key."

Crud.

"Get out. You gave me this house so we'd be apart. I don't want you back into my life." I said, torn between happy to see him and angry to see him.

"It's fine." He said quietly, shoving the roses forwards.

"I don't want them."

"Please. I picked them for you." Lelouch said, almost bitterly.

I frowned, giving the roses a skeptical stare before gently taking them.

I lifted them to my nose, inhaling their sweet scent.

"You've changed."

"Huh? Have not." I said, taken aback by this statement.

"You seem happier. More alive."

"Really? And what gave you that idea?"

"Also your abit more quick witted."

"Quit analyzing me!"

"No. not until I've figured you out."

"Maybe I don't want to be figured out!"

"That proves it. You have changed."

I turned quickly, heading to the kitchen, Lelouch hot on my heels.

There it is.

I picked up the sea blue vase from on top of the refrigerator, filling it with water.

"So. Why have you come?"

"I wanted to see you." Lelouch said instantly.

"That's not the only reason is it?"

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Alright then.. but I'll wait til later to tell you."

"How much later?"

"Later."
