(Your POV)

"You said I could make the dinner and I'm making it."

"Let me help you."

"No way! I don't need your help!"

"But clearly, this bread needs more yeast, can't you tell?"

"No it do- Huh, really? You think so?" I asked, prodding it with a straw from my broom.

Lelouch rolled his eyes, taking it out of the pan.

"Now, lets roll it out more." He muttered, taking the rolling pin out of my hands.

"You said I could make dinner." I grumbled.

"Yes I did, but I didn't say you could make it wrong."

"Fine. So. It needs more yeast?"

"And more flour."

"How are you so good at this?"

"Baking is a science."

"Yeah, right."

I rolled it out, keeping an eye on (Y/N) as she stirred the pasta in the pot.

She was so.... perfect.

Yet.. she did have the occasional flaw, which made her interesting.

"What?"

"Huh?"

"Your looking at me."

"Your pasta is boiling over."

"What? Agh!"

(Your POV)

I set down the rolls on the table.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

Lelouch pulled out my chair for me, giving one of his smirks.

"Thank you." I said curtly, quickly siting down and feeling him push my chair back for me.

"It's my pleasure."

I rolled my eyes, twisting my fork in my hand as he sat down across from me.

"So. Are you going to tell me why you've come now?"

Lelouch daintily sipped his drink, before saying "Not quite yet."

"Come on! Tell me already!"

"Let's just enjoy your dinner."

"Fine."

--Time Skip--

I started to finish up dinner, putting away the remains of it before bringing out some desert and setting it down on the ottoman.

I sat down next to Lelouch, eyeing him.

Suddenly, Lelouch's hand flew forwards, gently bringing my hand up to his face.

"Ah, you're still wearing the ring I gave you. Did you really treasure it that much that'd you'd keep it on wearing it? I 'd have though you'd gotten rid of it by now."

My face turned pink as I pulled my hand away, yanking off the ring.

"I only kept it on out of habit!" I snapped at him, putting it in my pocket.

"Heh, empty words. You kept it because you didn't want to believe the relationship between us was over didn't you? Well it's not and never has been."

"Yeah right! It's been over with and is it over with!"

"Not so fast. I want to give you a deal."

"What kind of deal?"

"Nothing tricky, nothing sneaky."

"No lies?"

"Here it is. You come back with me to my mansion for one year. And if you decide to leave, you can. But you must at least stay for one year."

"What? No way!" I rose from my seat angrily.

"Hear me out." Lelouch stood up with me, walking forwards, making me retreat.

"You must come with me, this place your living will be attacked soon, and I can't guarantee your safety here."

"I don't care. I'd rather die."

In that moment, Lelouch's eyes grew dark and he slowly cupped my cheek gently.

"I couldn't live without you. Please. Come with me. I've changed." He said, pressing his forehead to mine.

I gulped, placing my hand over his hand on my cheek.

"I.... I'll think about it."

"We don't have much time. It's either tonight or death. Their coming at dawn. If you don't you'l-"

"Alright then!" I yelled, storming upstairs.

What was I getting myself into again?
