Next Morning: Ayesha's PoV

"Do you want me to break the door Ayesha?"

I was shocked hearing Zain loudly knocking the door.

What he is up to?

I looked at the door with an horrified expression.

"Dont do. I am coming. Dont touch my door."I warned.

"Very sorry. I dont wanna miss the chance that I lost last time."

Before he completes, I quickly opened the door only to see his smirked face.

He and his smirk. Damn it.

"You know what. Sometimes you are a nonsense." I snapped at him.

I was not really angry. But the intention where we are going, made me an angry bird.

"Not sometimes. Most of the times. I admit your honor. "he chuckled.

"Zain, can I go alone? I don't think you need to come. I can manage."I tried to say when he stopped me by showing his hand.

"Don't make me a mad man Ayesha. I am coming with you for your check up. That's it and it's final."he said stopping further arguments.

"Why are you so stubborn? I think you have a lot of jobs here since you are returning back soon. And here you are so adamant on wasting time waiting for some doctor at an hospital."I told.

"Wow..now you are wasting my time. Lets go. Get inside the car."he ordered and I obeyed him.

Within minutes we started waiting at the hospital counter.

"You know what. Hospitals are so boring."I mumbled.

"And that's why you decided to be a doctor and chose this as your work place. For lifetime. Are you trying to tell that you are the most boring person?"he laughed while saying it.

I glared at him.

"Zain, what enjoyment are you finding in always irritating me?"

"My way of entertainment"he smirked.

"Yeah I know. I am sure. One day you will come infront of me as a patient and remember what I will do that day. I will put you into a surgical table and replace your brain with your kidney."I said angrily.

He started laughing.

"That was out of anger."Realizing what I said I too started laughing along with him.

"Keep silence. This is an hospital." We saw a nurse glaring at us.

"Doctors can break rules. Ofcourse."he muttered under his breath.

I couldn't stop smiling.

"This is what I am gonna miss the most when you return back."I said.

"What?"

"Laughing along with you. For silly things."I said making him smile.

He was about to say something when my phone rang. I excused him and attended the call. It was Shamz.

"Yeah we are here. Didn't meet the doctor yet."

"Dont worry Shamz. Zain is here with me. Then why unnecessary tension?"

"Sure. I will call you after meeting the doctor."

"Ok bye."
I ended the call and saw Zain with a confused face looking at me.

"It was Shamz. He is curious about what doctor is going to tell. About my health."

He thought for a second before talking.
"He is a nice guy. I think I misunderstood him a lot."

"Misunderstood?"I asked confusingly.

"Hey nothing. Leave it."

"Ms.Ayesha." A nurse called out my name and with that we entered into the doctor's room.

Zain explained about my medical condition while I handed over the reports. Doctor examined it.

After having conversation with us, doctor took me to have a detailed check up and we returned back seeing Zain waiting for us.

"There is nothing to worry Mr.Zain. Her leg's condition is getting better. Dont strain the injured part. Take care of that. And dont forget to take regular check ups." Doctor said making us relaxed.

We left the hospital.

"Zain, where are we going now?"I asked noticing the unfamiliar road we are travelling.

"Its Surprise time."he said.

"What? Stop Zain. Already we are late."before I completes he stopped the car on a sudden break.

"Or else tell me where we are going."I said.

"Better you shut up. I know where we are heading upto. Doctor madam, dont be scared."he warned before starting the car again.

I didn't open my mouth thereafter. He was looking at me frequently but I didn't respond.

"Oh madam has lost her voice."he exclaimed making me furious.

After a travel of ten minutes, he stopped the car near a bakery. He immediately got out of the car while I was still angry at him. For asking me to shut up and for not telling me where he was bringing me. I retained my pouted face and he giggled. He came near me and opened the door for me.

"What do you want me to do now?"I asked taunting.

"Come out Ayesha."he said smiling.

I got out of the car and averted my face away from him.

"Ok I am sorry. Now dont be angry at me. Please smile."he said with a pleading face and it was enough for melting all my anger.

"Only on one condition."I said.
"Tell me why are we here."

"At Bakery? Yes we are here to buy some vegetables."he taunted me.

I pouted.

"Arey did you lose your mind? I wanted to buy some sweets for you. That's why we are here. Nothing else. Come."

He dragged me inside the bakery. I looked around and wondered. It was not some ordinary bakery. A classy touch everywhere. Some musicians were playing music at one corner and a large crowd around them. Another corner people are preparing various type of sweets. Another corner there is a place which felt like to be a cafeteria. Every area is covered with beautiful glass works. Some ancient paintings were hanging down here and there. I was mesmerised.

"Why sweets for me? And why here? There are a lot of places near our house where we will get nice sweets."I asked my doubt.

"Couldn't you feel anything special here?"he asked clearly getting irritated.

I smiled.
"Yes a lot."

"Now dont ask me stupid questions. This Bakery is one of those oldest one in our country. Started during British times. A different approach which made me wonder. I wanted you to experience this along with me. That's why brought you here on this special occasion."

"Special occasion?"

He smiled hearing my question. I was confused.

I started thinking. Today is not my birthday.  Not his too. Then what special occasion he is talking about

"I will tell you. Come. Before that tell me what sweets do you want?"he asked restless.

"Firstly tell me how did you find this place? It's amazing Zain."

"I have my own ways dear. You couldn't eventhough you were living here."he smirked.

"I have no habit of wandering around the streets."

"Okay then leave it. Tell me what should I buy for you."

"Why Zain? Am I some kid?"

"No you are a rank holder. So we must treat you."he said making me widen my eyes.

"What????"I screamed.

"Yes. You scored the first rank in your examination. Shamz messaged me when doctor was having your check up. He got the information from university. Actually he was planning for a surprise there. But dont know why. I don't want him to break the news for you. I want to spoil his plan too."he said scratching the back side of his neck like an innocent kid.

I hadteary smile while hugging him.
"Thank you Zain."

"Congratulations dear. You are officially a doctor from now onwards. I am really proud of you."

"Still I can't believe. Did you hear him right? I feel my entire body shivering."I said showing my excitement.

He was smiling. I felt that he was more happy for me. I smiled back.

This would be a day I will cherish for the rest of my life.
