Jungkook's body was littered in countless bruises. He squinted at the king with one black eye, had a bleeding forehead and a limp, but no matter how beat up the young demigod was, he still kept himself standing.
"Y-Yoongi..." Taehyung spoke up from the sidelines in a quiet voice. "Can't we try again tomorrow?"
"No!"
"No!"
The king and the halfgod fiercely refused at the same time.
Jungkook gathered some saliva in his mouth to spit a mixture of blood on the ground. He had disappointed Jimin. He could feel the prince's glare burn into his back, but no matter how hard the demigod tried, he simply couldn't defeat the king of The Styx. Whoever had stereotyped those people ass stiff, emotionless dwarfs was completely off! King Min Yoongi's punches hurt, and Jungkook had taken quie enough punches in his life to know.
The demigod panted and clutched tighter at the base of his sword. He had to fight as though something he cared about was on the line, and so he tried to remember... something he wanted to protect with his life... the people? Delos? The seven kingdoms? The world? If only being passionate was easy...
Jungkook's gaze drifted off to the ravenhaired prince, who was sitting on the fallen treetrunk with crossed arms and an unimpressed expression on his face. The prince's eyes were unforgiving when they met Jungkook's exhausted ones, and the half-god gulped.
If he did not succeed in defeating the king... would the prince be angry with him? Would he never receive a smile from him ever again? Would he never get to kiss...
Jungkook took a deep breath and closed his eyes, hearing king Min Yoongi's quickly approaching footsteps as he planted his feet deeper into the earth's soil. He connected himself to the nature around him as he did when healing, and depended on the forest to guide him through the fight. The trees, the few animals left, the plants, no matter how cold it all had become. They spoke to him in quiet whispers.
Left...
Left...
Left!
The prince crouched, dodging the king's attack with a speed that almost came natural to him now. Like breathing. He did a cartwheel and landed back on his feet as Jimin had shown him before.
Stomach...
Throat...
Chin...
The demigod twirled his stick and hit all the critical spots when the king was far too busy being shocked by his quick reflexes. The man groaned at the impact to his guts, coughed at the smack against his throat and blacked out after getting kicked up the chin.
He fell to the ground, collapsing finally as Jungkook had done all too many times during their training. The king of The Styx, the greatest fighter in the Seven Kindoms, had been taken down, in a matter of seconds.
Energy...
Sunlight...
Power...
Before Jungkook could realise it he had gathered a ball of energy in his hand, and his eyes slowly began to burn with bright golden light. He had to finish the job now, did he not? As Jimin had taught him?
A man's yells perked his ears.
"Stop, Jungkook!"
The demigod's burning eyes faded back to their dark colour. Before him on the grass sat prince Taehyung, keeping his own body draped across the unconscious king. "Stop, please!"
Jungkook looked at Jimin, but the ravenhaired prince simply sat there, staring at the scene without moving a muscle.
A single cold tingle on Jungkook's forehead, caused the power in his hand to dissolve into nothing. Another tingle fell on his hand, and another on his nose.
The prince looked up, his lips parting at the sight of a million snowflakes dancing from the dark heavens onto the earth, coming to bless the cold soil with their cheerful white presence.
"Snow?" Taehyung asked with a stuffy nose, staring up at the dark skies in wonder.
"I... I've never seen snow before..." Jungkook said, smiling in awe at the snowy weather while his countless injuries faded away, his body slowly healing itself.
King Min Yoongi awakened when a snowflake melted on his nose, and he picked up his head with a grumble. "You won..." he said, rubbing his chin and screwing his eyes open. "About goddamn time."
Jungkook helped the man back on his feet, though he was still partly distracted by the crystal snow. "I'm sorry it took so long," he chuckled.
The king rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck. "Seeing as you learned how to defeat me in a single day I think that apology is unnecessary. Good job... Jungkook."
Jungkook raised his eyebrows. "Did you just- did you compliment me Your Highness?"
The king nudged Jungkook's shoulder. "I can give compliments when they are earned. I am not evil."
The demigod was surprised by a tight hug from prince Taehyung. "You did well demigod. You controlled your powers! I have no doubt that you will save the world and cure us of this darkness."
Slow, lazy claps stiffened up the cheerful atmosphere, and everyone looked to prince Jimin, who came up to them with a dawdle walk. "Wonderful," he said with a gentle smile, eyes glinting like polished stone. "We should celebrate the demigod's progress, shouldn't we?"
"How do you propose we do that?" King Yoongi asked, crossing his arms.
Jimin held out his hand, catching a snowflake on his palm in a petulant manner. "We could capture a deer, bring it to the Inn-keeper and exchange it..."
"Exchange it?" Taehyung asked with a frown, his voice noticeably smaller in the presence of the ravenhaired prince.
Jungkook cocked his head. "Exhange it.... for what?"

"Oh Gods and have'I told ya'how he wasss'planning on marrying a damn 'lympic'athlete!?" King Yoongi slurred, pointing a wobbly finger at Jungkook as though he was accusing the demigod of something. "Wouldn't ssstop blabbering'bout it in m'face made me so gadamnangry."
"That's cus you'were gon'marry that damn'princess your father picked fo'you!" Taehyung retaliated with a beetred face, throwing back another bottle of wine while spilling half of it on his face.
Yoongi sighed, and turned to the prince seated next to him at the round table. "Well'I'm not'gonna'do that anymore arrre I??"
Taehyung blinked at the king, but he was so wasted his eyelids did not even close simeoultaneously. Suddenly he rushed forward, and placed a hurried kiss on the king's lips, gasping immediately after doing so, and covering his mouth in shock.
Taehyung and the king looked at each other with drunken faces and wide eyes, until they burst out laughing, nearly falling off their seats as their bodies shook out of balance.
Jungkook smiled at the scene in front of him. The companionship of four were seated at a round table in a corner of the midly-busy tavern, and after trading a deer for about 7 bottles of wine, some of the group had wasted no time to drown their misery in booze.
"It's nice to see them like this, isn't it?" Jungkook asked Jimin, who sat next to him, sipping a bottle of whine of his own.
The prince hummed, seeming less engaged with his friends than with his own thoughts. "We should get them to their room, though. They're wasted."
Jungkook nodded in agreement, as the prince and the king were now rubbing noses with wobbly heads and grinning at each other like enamored lovers. "I'll do it."
The demigod got up and helped both Yoongi and Taehyung to their feet, lifting each royal over his shoulders as though they weighed nothing.
He got some looks from the tavern crowd, but most of them were far too drunk to think logically.
Jungkook looked over his shoulder and grinned at prince Jimin, who looked up at him through his lashes and took a rather big gulp of wine.
"Hurry along," he said with a small smirk. "Before they throw up on you."
_______________
"Kooo~" Taehyung whined after his back hit the bed, finding himself wrapped in the king's arms right away, as despite how drunk the two were, their bodies still seemed to work like magnets.
"Yes, prince Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, stopping on his way out of the room.
"Something.... something's w-wrong... with J-Jiminimie..."
"What?"
"He's nn-not okay..." Taehyung slurred with closed eyes. "You need- you need to talk to him. You n-need to s-sssave him."
Jungkook's lips twitched up into a small smile, and he bashfully lowered his head. "Don't worry, prince Tae." He whispered, nodding to himself. " I will protect prince Jimin no matter what it takes."
_______________
"He returns..." Jimin sang when the demigod hopped down the stairs of the tavern much like an excited bunny.
The demigod easily maneuvered past the crowd and dropped himself on one of the chairs at the table. He stared at the prince with a dumb smile,
"What is it?" the prince asked curiously, elegantly sipping his wine.
"Where were you..." Jungkook asked, eyes climbing up and down the prince. "Before you joined Tae to watch my training?"
Jimin sighed and chuckled before sipping his wine. "Demigod-"
"It's Jungkook."
Jimin's eyes darted up from his wine and glinted in the candlelight. "Drink, Jungkook. Relax, sit back... and stop digging your cute nose where it doesn't belong. The last thing I need you to do... is get in my way."
"Get in your way?" Jungkook asked, sitting up and frowning at the prince. "What way is that exactly? Aren't we on the same path to save the kingdom? To visit my father's temple and ask him for guidance? To fight the dark demons that have come to corrupt our people?"
The prince pouted his lips, and smiled at the demigod in a way that made shivers run down his spine. It was patronizing, the way he looked at the halfgod. As though Jungkook was supposed to have known all along that the prince had long strayed away from the journey they'd once started together.
"Jungkook, stop this," Jimin said, leaning out of his chair and pulling himself closer to the demigod until he was nearly sitting on the boy's lap. "Don't draw a wedge between us don't - ruin this..."
The demigod raised his chin and gulped, not able to resist getting hypnotized by the royal beauty in front of him. "R-ruin what?"
Jimin's small fingers found the demigod's knee, and they danced further and further up his thigh with painfully slow steps, digging into the boy's skin until they reached his crotch, and stopped.
The prince smirked at the mildly terrified look in Jungkook's eyes, and then he glanced down, licking his lips at the demigod's already swollen cock, bulging through the thin fabric of his tunic.
"Jungkook..." he whispered breathily. "Do you still consider me... your teacher?"
The demigod's heartbeat sped up, and he nodded. "Y-yes."
Jimin hummed contently, his hand moving again to cup the boy's erection through his cloth. "Do you still... look up to me?"
Jungkook snapped his around the tavern in panic, but the prince made the demigod face him again with his other hand. "Jungkook?"
"Yes... yes I- I still look up to you."
Jimin's eyes crinkled, and his hand dipped underneath the demigod's tunic, his short fingers wrapping around the base of the boy's member. "Jungkook," he whispered into the demigod's ear, making the boy's eyes slip shut when he gently began to pump his cock. "Do you want me... to sleep in that little room upstairs tonight? With you?"
Jungkook bit his lips to stiffle his moans, subcontiously moving his hips back and forth as the prince kept pleasuring him in his seat under the eyes of nearly every man in town. "P-please Jimin..." he breathed, cocking his head back when it became far too difficult to hide how good it felt to be touched by the prince. "C-come to the room with me... I'll- I'll do anything you a-ask I promise..."
Jimin sucked on his lower lip, a cheeky glint in his eyes as he stared at the halfgod, and felt his pre-cum trickle down his hand in sticky blotches. "Good..." he said, his eyes flickering to black. "Good boy..."
