The rythmic sounds of hundreds of marching footsteps filled the otherwise desolate fields.
Yoongi had ordered a few men to place on the corners of the battlefield, in order to illuminate the enemy, and it made for a less frightening sight.
A smooth white landscape had been revealed, stretching out as far as the eye could see. It was beautiful, in a way, beautifully melancholic, but the king of The Styx knew that soon enough, the pure white surface of the battleground would be stained with crimson all over.
"Are you ready my love?" The king asked sitting atop his horse as he combed his fingers through the red lion's manes.
The fantastic creature huffed and bared it's giant teeth, more than prepared to set them into some dark knights.
The king gave a curt nod, pressing the balls of his feet against his horse and riding up to the front-lines with Taehyung following after.
"Men of The Styx!" The king bellowed. "Are you ready to destroy the evil that has come to defeat you!?"
Loud roars came from the army of men, and they banged their weapons against their shields.
"Are you ready to show the goddess of the night that the day shall have it's turn as well!?"
Again, the men broke into a loud array of yells and whistles.
"And are you ready... to put away your hate and prejudice, and fight with the son of Apollo as he shall fight for you!?"
The people cheered, emitting loud battlecries and though they had already been victorious.
Yoongi smiled curtly, satisfied with his army's hunger for war. "Now let's hope the assling actually shows up..." he muttered under his breath.
Taehyung nudged his head against his leg, purring softly as if to console him.
Namjoon rode up to the king and the lion on top of a pure white horse, seeming everything but confident though he tried to hide it with a raised chin.
"Your first war, Namjoon," Yoongi said with a grin. "It would've been easier if it we were up against humans, but... I suppose dark manifestations of the night should be fine as well."
The king of Delos was not able to laugh at Yoongi's joke and kept his face stoic. "The demigod isn't here... I wonder why."
"He needed a moment to think," Yoongi said. "We all need that sometimes."
"Or he is preparing his army of dark creatures," Namjoon deadpanned. "And he had you all fooled from the start."
Yoongi looked at Namjoon, and though part of him wanted to ridicule the man, another felt incredibly sorry for his poor soul.
"Something is coming!" One of the soldiers screamed, pointing at the horizon of the white battlefield, where a single figure emerged, sauntering toward them through the snow.
"Is it the demigod?" Yoongi asked, squinting his eyes.
"No..." Namjoon said, slowly guiding his horse forward. "No it is not the demigod..."
The king of The Styx could only scream
'no' when Namjoon snapped his reins and sprinted toward the figure washed out by the snow.
"Namjoon stop! We agreed on a plan you can't simply-"
But it was of no use.
The king galloped toward his younger brother with tears in his eyes that immediately froze to his skin. He cried out of pure happiness, riding toward the man as fast as he could.
He slid off his horse, running the last few yards to throw himself at the younger prince and cage him in his arms. "Oh by the Gods," he sobbed, squeezing Jimin close to his chest. "Oh by the bloody Gods..."
Jimin let his arms wrap around his brother's waist, and he leaned his head on the man's shoulder. "Hello, my king."
Namjoon pulled back to look Jimin in the eyes, cupping his face as though he couldn't believe the boy was real. "I... I imagined this moment in my dreams so many times," he whispered, letting his thumb trail from the tip of Jimin's small nose to his plump lips. "You are so perfect... I missed you so much. My heart felt like it was being tortured by a hundred needles without you."
Jimin chuckled fondly, grabbing Namjoon's wrists. "So romantic as usual, brother."
"I thought of killing myself," the king blurted out with crazed, widened eyes. "But I didn't... I kept holding on to the hope that you were alive somewhere... and I was right."
"Namjoon! Stop this!" Yoongi screamed from the other side of the battlefield, but the king of Delos ignored him, and kept his eyes set on his brother.
Jimin lowered his head, blushing timidly. "You had faith in me."
The king lifted his brother's chin with the tips of his brows curled up. "You are the most precious thing there is to me in the whole wide world little brother. I would move mountains for you... I have killed hundreds for you."
Jimin's lips parted. "You have?"
"Yes," Namjoon said, nodding with a large smile as the snowy weather caused his layered hair to dance in the wind. "To gather information from hidden traitors, though none of them gave me any valuable information."
The king let his thumb slide past Jimin's lips, and dragged it along his brother's front teeth.
"Namjoon," Jimin whispered. "I appreciate everything you've done for me so much... but I need you to-
"How about..." The king interrupted, looking down at the prince with dilated pupils. "You give your brother a kiss to repay him for all the trouble he's been through to save you?"
Jimin swallowed thickly, his eyes frantically darting away. "Namjoon..."
"You won't deny your king, will you?"
Jimin placed his hands on Namjoon's chest. "Joonie... this can wait, r-right now it is time for us to fight and the soldiers are watching."
"Damn the soldiers," Namjoon said sharply, grabbing his brother by the back of his hair.
Jimin gasped, freezing up and fluttering his eyes. He stared at his brother's crazed expression, realising that there was no reasoning with him like this. He was like a scared child craving a hug from it's mother, and he would not be calmed down without it.
"O-okay... okay I'll do it," Jimin stuttered, plastering a soursweet smile on his face. "I'll give you kiss."
Namjoon's grip on Jimin's hair weakened, and the prince cupped his brother's face with trembling hands.
He leaned in, intending on pecking the man's cheek, though the second he came close enough, the king grabbed him by the jaw and hungrily smashed their lips together.
Jimin was stunned, unable to move until he tried to turn his head as a natural reflex. But the king was persistent. He yanked his brother's hair again, forcing his tongue deeper into Jimin's mouth with a low moan that made the prince's stomach revolt.
Only when Jimin felt his older brother rub his hardened cock against his thigh, did the prince end the kiss by 'accidentally' biting Namjoon's lip, and causing the king to wince.
"A k-king shouldn't b-be greedy," the prince said, forcing the most desperate fake smile onto his face as he held out his hands to keep some distance between them.
Namjoon licked his lips, looking entranced. "Always so good at telling me what I should and shouldn't do..." he purred, cocking his head. "But I am a king now brother. I think it's time I start telling you what to do, no?"
Jimin wrapped his arms around his brother's neck with pursed lips. "Namjoon, we need to fight against The Styx and Athens. They are all brainwashed into following the demigod. Gather your army and send them to this side."
Namjoon furrowed his brows. "Are you sure? Is killing them all really the best option?
Jimin buried his face in the crook of his brother's neck, and planted soft kisses against his skin as he 'accidentally' rubbed his own bulge against the king's hardness.
"Please, big brother," he whined with a pout. "Listen to me one last time... I am desperate for your help."
Namjoon's hands instantly found his brother's ass and he bit his lips with closed eyes. "You are... desperate for me?"
Jimin clenched his jaw. "Terribly."
The king took a deep breath, inhaling his brother's scent, before reluctantly letting go.
He returned to his horse, climbed on top of it, and galloped back toward his army all the while receiving stares from everyone he passed on the front lines.
"Men of Delos, follow me to the other side of the battlefield!"
"Excuse you!?" Yoongi asked, trudging up to Namjoon. "This wasn't part of the-"
"You are all fighting for the wrong side," Namjoon said without any doubt.
Yoongi blinked. "Namjoon... you are in love with your brother and it is messing with you mind."
"I love my brother very much," Namjoon said with fire in his eyes. "But I am not in love with him, that would be disgusting. How dare you dirty our relationship."
"We all saw just you kiss him Namjoon!"
"It was a heat of the moment thing!" The king of Delos roared as his soldiers hesitantly began to cross the battlefield.
"Namjoon... Jimin is the one behind all of this! He is a child of Nyx! A doll that was put inside your mother to destroy Delos and the Seven Kingdo-"
"SILENCE!" Namjoon roared. "I WILL HEAR NO MORE OF YOUR FILTHY LIES!"
The king galloped back to the other side of the battlefield, returning to his brother like an obedient dog.
"He's lost," Yoongi said, shaking his head as he watched the king go. "There's nothing we can do..."
Jimin watched the army of around 300 men join his side with an unmistakable smirk. It was all coming together now.
Namjoon came down from his horse and walked up to his brother with a proud smile. "We will beat them," he said. "We will destroy them."
Jimin giggled and hugged his brother tightly. "Yes..." he whispered. "Yes, my strong, confused big brother... but something about those sentences is sadly wrong."
Namjoon frowned as he pressed his brother's slender body against him. "What is wro-?"
Jimin smiled as he thrusted his dagger into his brother's gut, going as deep as possible and looking up to catch the look of surprise on the king's face
"I... will beat them," he breathed, stabbing his brother again. "I will destroy them..."
Namjoon's legs gave out, and he slowly dropped to his knees as blood poured from his stomach. J-Jim-min..."
"Yes, brother. It was I, your helpless little plaything, that caused this darkness."
The king shook his head, blood pooling into his mouth and streaming down his lips.
"And yes, brother," Jimin whispered, bringing his mouth close to Namjoon's ear. "I fucked the demigod. I let his monsterous cock take me for I am in love with him, and he makes me feel alive."
Namjoon fell into the snow with a thud, and he looked up at his little brother with tears in his eyes as he spoke his final words. "I l-lo l-love y-you..."
Jimin scoffed, disregarding his brother's confession as he looked at the armies of his old friends standing before him.
"As vasilévei to skotádi..." he whispered, and the ground shook as a legion of dark nights appeared behind him, startling the army of Delos.
The horses began to go against the soldiers as they grew nervous, and the men drew their swords, unsure about what it was they had to fight.
"You will all fight for me now!" Jimin yelled, turning to the terrified soldiers. "Your new king!"
The soldiers all shared concerned looks, and none seemed interested in joining Jimin whatsoever. "We will not! You and your brother are both insane! We demand a new leader!"
Jimin glared at the soldier who had spoken up, and slowly cocked his head. "Oh... really?"
The soldier gulped, glancing at his fellow soldiers for help.
Jimin raised his chin and uttered a single. "Skotóno."
Rows and rows of dark knights charged past the thick fog that had been hiding them, ambushing the army of Delos on all sides. They jabbed their swords through skulls, beheaded horses and slaughtered every living being in their path, only to turn the dead bodies into new dark riders of the night. Soon the snow was drenched with red, screams of the men piercing through the darkness as the soldiers were butchered like sheep.
Yoongi watched it all happen as he squinted into the distance, seeing the lanterns of the soldiers of Delos die out one by one.
"By Zeus, Jimin..." he whispered, shaking his head. "What have you done..."
