Arsene is capable of changing his form so he'll not only look like Akira but also sound like him. So it confuses Mia to death why Akira gets all upset and jealous after she could have sworn she just kissed him. Which leads to Mia simply letting them kiss her first instead of the other way around because she doesn't want Akira blowing up on her. Not that he ever really has.
