Chapter Fifteen: My Little Old Boy

"It's been a year since Rosé last appeared on the show, and so much has happened to her since then,"  Shin Dong-yup said.

"What happened?" Cho Hye-seon asked.

"Ma'am, do you not see that massive ring on her finger?" Seo Jang-hoon asked.

"Oh, you're getting married," Kim Sun-ja said.

"To a basketball player," Seo Jang-hoon said.

"Oh?" Park Young-hye asked.

"Yes, ma'am, I'm engaged to Derrick Rose," Rosé answered.

A picture of Rosé and Derrick pops up on the screen.

"Congratulations," Kim Sun-ja said.

"I'm happy for you, but I'm jealous a young girl like you is getting married before my son," Cho Hye-seon said with a chuckle.

"You and your finacé are a beautiful couple," Park Young-hye says.

"Show off the ring," Shin Dong-yup says.

Rosé blushes.

"Okay," Rosé said.

Rosé holds out her hand for the moms to see her ring, and the camera zooms on the engagement ring.

"It's a beautiful ring," Kim Sun-ja said.

"Thank you," Rosé said.

"When are you getting married?" Cho Hye-seon asked.

"We don't have a date yet as we are waiting on the basketball season to be over," Rosé answered.

"Ma'am, the NBA season has the playoffs and the finals, so her finacé to play a lot of games before they can get married," Seo Jang-hoon explained.

"Oh, is his team going to the finals?" Kim Sun-ja asked.

"We have to see how well his team plays, but I hope so," Rosé answered.

Rosé was in the recording studio with Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa. They have been recording for nearly three hours now, and Rosé was ready to go home and sleep as she had to meet with her sister the next day so Alice could introduce her to her boyfriend that Alice had been keeping a secret for the last six months.

"We have one more song to go over, then we can all leave," The producer said.

The girls nodded.

The producer played the song, and Rosé immediately spots in error in the first line that she didn't like.

"We need to change that part," Rosé says.

The girls nod when the doors open, and their assistant walks in with food and drinks. Someone else walks in after their assistant with a huge bouquet.

"We already know who it's for," Lisa said as she winked at Rosé.

"I swear he spoils her," Jennie said.

"I want that," Jisoo said.

Rosé blushes as she grabs the flowers and smiles at the card attached to the flowers that say, I miss you, Pasta on it.

"Maybe we should date basketball players," Lisa said.

"Not all of them are like Derrick," Jennie said.

"Ladies, let's focus," The producer said.

"Sorry," Rosé said.

Rosé pulls out her phone and takes a picture of the flowers, and sends them to Derrick with the text; I miss you too, Hoop.

Rosé puts her phone away and focuses on finishing up their recording session so they all can leave.

"Let's record that first line over," Rosé said.

"No way," Rosé squealed as she started at her label mate, Lee Soo-hyuk, and her sister hugging before sharing a kiss.

"Lee Soo-hyuk, you have been dating my sister and didn't tell me!" Rosé exclaimed.

Soo-hyuk chuckled as Alice threw a shoe at Rosé.

"This is so surprising. Now I see why she's been thinking about marriage and babies a lot," Rosé said.

"Chaeyoung, shut up!" Alice yelled.

"Oh, you want my babies?" Soo-hyuk asked Alice.

Alice buries her head in his chest as Soo-hyuk chuckles and Rosé laughs.

"Is it okay if I call you brother-in-law?" Rosé asked Soo-hyuk.

"Oh my goodness, you're so embarrassing," Alice said in response to Rosé's question.

Soo-hyuk winked at Alice.

"It's okay; I'll be your brother-in-law soon enough," Soo-hyuk answered.

"Oohhhh!" Rosé said.

Alice blushed.

"You're blushing," Rosé said, teasing her older sister.

"Let's eat before all the blood rushes to her face," Soo-hyuk said, smiling.

"Soo-hyuk, I may like you, but if you hurt my older sister, I will kill you," Rosé said with a wicked smile.

"And I'll let you," Soo-hyuk said.

"Okay, let's eat," Alice said.
