Chapter Four: La la la lalisa

"Hi, ladies," The chef said, walking up to the table.

"Hello, chef," Lisa said.

"So, for dinner, I made you grilled lamb chops, and I have a port wine reduction with a minted pea puree and roasted Peruvian purple potatoes," The chef said.

"Thank you," Rosé said.

"Oh, you're very welcome. I hope you enjoy it," The chef said.

"Ok, thank you," All three girls say.

"I'm going in on those lamb chops," Jennie said.

"Ha ha ha!" Lisa laughs.

"So you guys are enjoying yourselves in L.A.?" Rosé asked the two girls.

"Yeah," Jennie answered.

"Yeah, I needed this," Lisa said.

"I'm so glad we can spend this time together. Sadly, Jisoo couldn't be here," Rosé said.

"I know. Maybe Jisoo will be able to join us soon, or we all could do something together once we get back to Korea," Jennie said.

"Yeah, we should," Lisa said.

A waiter walked up to the table and handed Rosé a large Hermes shopping bag. Lisa and Jennie smiled as they already knew what was in the bag as Derrick had informed them that he was sending a gift to Rosé while they were out for dinner.

"Oh my, who would send this to me?" Rosé asked as she opened the bag.

It was a new blue Hermès Birkin bag.

"There's a card," Lisa said as she pointed to the card in the bag.

Rosé grabbed the card and read it.

"What does it say?" Jennie asked.

"It's from Derrick. It says, 'I'll see you soon.' He spoils me too much," Rosé answered as she held up the Birkin bag in the air so the girls could get a better look at the bag.

Jennie sneakily took a photo of Rosé's reaction to the Birkin bag and sent it to Derrick, who replied with a smiling emoji.

"You should text him," Lisa said.

Rosé looks at the girls suspiciously.

"You two knew about this?" Rosé asked them.

Lisa giggled.

"Yeah, he told us before we got to the restaurant that he would send you a gift," Jennie answered.

Rosé smiled.

"I can't believe it," Rosé said as she pulled out her phone and texted Derrick.

"I want a relationship like you guys," Lisa said.

"I can set you up with someone," Rosé said.

"I don't know if I can date an athlete," Lisa said.

"I mean, there are ups and downs with dating an athlete, but if you want to make the relationship work, you have to put in the work," Rosé said.

"I guess that's true," Lisa said.
