Chapter Twenty-Three: Hurricane Rosé

It was now mid-November, and BlackPink had released their album and were currently promoting the album.

Derrick and Rosé were having issues as rumors were trending on social media about separating them.

The basketball season had begun, and Rosé had not gone to a single game yet, which fueled the rumors even more to the point that YG entertainment had to release a statement to end some of the stories.

It didn't help that Rosé was very moody and would snap at anything little thing anyone did, including Derrick, which led to them sleeping in separate rooms as Rosé could not stand Derrick's light snoring anymore.

It was like everything about him made her sick, and Derrick didn't know what to do, so he gave her space but continued to remind her that he was her husband that he would be here for her even if it meant spending time apart.

The girls were worried for Rosé as she would be so emotional and cry a lot, but Rosé always reassured them that she was okay.

Rosé's emotions were a rollercoaster that the staff had nicknamed her 'Hurricane Rosé' as you never knew when she would snap or break down crying.

Currently, Rosé had rushed backstage to the nearest trash can to throw up as she burst into tears.

The stage staff was so confused, but a female staff member gasped as the realization hit her. She walked over to Rosé and handed a water bottle and saltine crackers.

"Rosé, when was the last time you had your monthly cycle?" The female staff asked Rosé.

Rosé looked up at her, confused.

"What do you mean?" Rosé replied.

"I think you're pregnant," The female staff said.

"What!?!" Rosé exclaimed.

Rosé and the girls were recording their acoustic version of their new single, Loving You (Forever) which was originally recorded as "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)" in 1989 as a ballad song from New Kids on the Block, released as the third single from the group's second album, Hangin' Tough.

The girls' version reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, warming the girls their fourth number one while peaking at number one in the UK and earning them their third number one.

The New Kids on the Block praised the girls for their version of their song on social media and even made a cameo in the music video.

Now, Donnie, one of The New Kids on the Block member, was filing the acoustic video for them.

"Let's get started, ladies," Donnie called out.

The girls walked onto the set and took their positions like Donnie had informed them earlier in the dressing room.

A staff handed them each a mic as their make up artist did a few last-minute touch-ups on them.

"Four, three, two, one... ACTION!" Donnie yelled.

"Cut! That was amazing, girls," Donnie called out.

Once again, Rosé broke down crying.

"Ah-Sorry, I'm not this emotional," Rosé said as she walked off the set.

The other girls looked at each other and quickly followed Rosé to the dressing room.

"What's going on, Rosé?" Lisa asked Rosé.

"Ah- I might be pregnant," Rosé said as she wiped her tears.

"Uh-oh," Lisa said once she saw Rosé's face after she came back from her doctor's appointment.

"What did the doctor say?" Jennie asked as she walked into the living room and took a seat on the couch.

Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo went silent to hear what Rosé had to say.

"How would you all feel about someone else joining our group?" Rosé asked the girls.

"What?" Jisoo asked.

"What would you say if I told you they're here?" Rosé asked.

The girls gasp.

"What?" Lisa exclaimed.

"You're lying," Jennie said.

"Do you want to meet?" Rosé asked.

"Yes!" Jisoo answered.

"What's going on? Why is she telling us about someone and not what the doctor said to her?" Lisa asked Jennie.

"The little person's in here, and they have been performing with us for a while now," Rosé answered as she stood up and rubbed her belly.

All the girls scream.

"I'm pregnant," Rosé announced with a laugh.

"Rosé!" Lisa shouted.

"Are you really?" Jisoo asked Rosé.

"I am," Rosé answered.

"Oh, my gosh," Jennie said.

"Congratulations," Lisa said as she stood up and hugged Rosé.

"Thank you," Rosé said.

Jennie and Jisoo stood up, and they each hugged Rosé then had a group hug.

"I'm pregnant. Whoo!" Rosé said.

"Best news ever," Jennie said.

"This is, like, the best day ever. I'm so excited," Lisa said.

"She's starting to show," Jennie said as she noticed the small bump on Rosé.

"How couldn't we notice that?" Jisoo asked.

"Aw! Bubba!" Lisa said as she touched Rosé's stomach.

All the girls are laughing and cheering as they each touch Rosé's belly.

"How many weeks?" Jennie asked.

"Fourteen weeks," Rosé answered.

"Four months," Jisoo said.

"What?" Lisa asked.

"You're four months?" Jennie asked.

"I'm huge," Rosé answered.

"No, your body hid it well," Jisoo said.

They are so excited for Rosé, and it's just a beautiful moment.

"Okay, this explains your mood swings," Jennie said.

"You might need this," Lisa said as she handed Rosé a water bottle.

"Thank you," Rosé said as she opened the water bottle and took a sip.

"Do you have a scan?" Jisoo asked.

"Yeah," Rosé answered.

"Four months," Lisa said.

Rosé pulled out her scan and showed the girls.

"The baby is already that big," Jisoo said.

"Do you know if you're having a boy or girl?" Jennie asked.

Rosé laughs.

"You know," Jennie said.

"No, I don't," Rosé said.

"She knows," Jisoo said.

"No, I don't. I promise I don't know the sex, but I can tell you that this baby well made my emotions a hot mess," Rosé said.

The girls laugh.

"True," Jennie said.

"What do you think you're having?" Lisa asked.

"My gut instinct is I'm definitely having a girl," Rosé answered.

"When is the baby due?" Jisoo asked.

"In the summer," Rosé answered.

The girls squeal.

"We're gonna have a baby," Lisa said.

"I know," Rosé said.
