"Our next guests are two of the most popular all-female groups in the universe of music; these two girl groups have come together to release the most epic joint album and the first of its kind for girl groups to show that girl groups are here to stay," Jimmy Kimmel said as he holds up a blow out picture of the new album.

"The collaborative album is titled Little Pink, a play on the two groups' names, and Little Pink will be out on September 9. Joining us in the studio are Black Pink and Little Mix," Jimmy Kimmel says as the audience cheer as all seven ladies walk on stage.

"Hello, Ladies," Jimmy said, greeting the ladies as they took their seats.

The girls wave at the audience and say hi to Jimmy.

"Thank you for being here and with us," Jimmy said.

"Thank you for having us," Perrie said.

"Now, how did this joint album come about?" Jimmy asked.

"Our fans, actually," Jennie answered.

"What did your fans do?" Jimmy asked.

"They commented how badly they wanted us to collaborate," Jade answered.

"Yeah, after seeing those comments for so long, Lisa ended dming Jade back in 2019, and we've been communicating since then," Rosé said.

"Our fans and one dm led to a beautiful friendship, a sisterhood, actually," Leigh Anne said.

"Wow, so you ladies are very close then," Jimmy said.

"Yes, we were at Rosé's wedding," Jade said.

"And we've met all their children," Jisoo said.

"And since I live part-time in South Korea now, our relationship is extra special," Jade added.

"Why didn't you guys collaborate on just a song instead of making an album?" Jimmy asked.

"Originally, it was supposed to be just two sings that would be featured on each other's albums, but we just ended up sending songs back and forth to each other and falling in love with them that the labels suggested we put all the songs on a joint album," Lisa answered.

"We're still are going to feature on each other's albums, but the joint album was like a baby born out of the love we have for each other," Perrie said.

"Fascinating," Jimmy said.

"Yeah," Jennie said.

"And what was the process like in the recording studio?" Jimmy asked.

"It was amazing actually; we started recording songs over zoom, you know to get each other's feedback, but when we got to travel to each other, it was like okay, we're one big perfectionist family in the studio. We understood each other's opinions and what we wanted to make happen on this album," Jisoo answered.

"Why did you guys choose to name the album Little Pink," Jimmy asked.

"We kind of felt like it was the best mixture of our names and fans who love both groups call themselves little pinkies, so that helped us with the naming process of the album," Jennie answered.

"Now, Happy Place is the first single off of Little Pink; tell us about what Happy Place means to you ladies?" Jimmy asked.

"Happy Place for us is when you're with your girls, and you're doing something with them that makes you feel happy," Rosé answered.

"Yeah, your girls are always there when you feel stressed, and they take you out and go to a happy place," Leigh Anne said.

"Happy Place is doing so well. Did you guys expect that?" Jimmy asked.

"I mean, we knew our fans would love it," Lisa answered.

"It's been well received, and that's what we wanted," Perrie said.

The girls were doing promotions for the album all week until it dropped on Friday while Rosé and Derrick started trying for a baby.

It wasn't easy having sex almost every day while promoting an album, but Rosé and Derrick were making it.

The labels had the girls doing a few shows tour for the album, but to Rosé, it felt like a regular tour all over the united states.

Because the album was so well received, The Little Pink Tour began at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. It would conclude in Inglewood, California, at The Forum, making twenty for the number of shows for the tour.

The album was preceded by two singles, the title track and "Happy Place," debuting atop the United States Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the groups' first two number-one songs in the US.

"My Night" became the third single on the album's release, peaking at number two on the Hot 100.

All of the album's 20 tracks entered the Hot 100, with the singles occupying the top five spots, making the girls the first groups to achieve it.

The album topped the charts in various countries. It broke many streaming records upon release, including the records for the most significant weekly streams for a pop album and a female group album in the United States.

Little Pink debuted at number-one on the US Billboard 200, and the girls found out during their performance when fans started chanting number one album.

Rosé walked off stage and took a seat on the couch in the dressing room.

"I'm so exhausted," Rosé said.

"We're booked and busy," Lisa said as the rest of the girls walked into the room.

"I can't believe we're number one on the Us Billboard 200," Perrie said.

"Does this mean we get to make a second joint album?" Jennie asked.

"I hope so; I love performing with you guys," Leigh Anne said.

"Me too," Jisoo said.

"We have enough songs left over to make a second album," Rosé said.

"Holy shit, we could get nominated for Grammy's," Jade said.

"Do you think we should submit songs for the grammy nominations?" Leigh Anne asked.

"Hell yeah," Jennie answered.
