Mew's POV.................

Our new start went amazingly good, it was perfect making us forget everything we suffered all our lives, my family truly loved Gulf and welcomed him as their third son, I'm so glad that they are getting along although Gulf is still a bit shy around them

As for work, it's going so well for both of us, my company welcomed me back praising my skills and my work till today, the same for Gulf who got many clients and became a well known graphic designer, we even managed to buy a decent house close to my company

We also adopted a Pomeranian dog and a cute kitty, my brother's kid enjoying playing with them whenever he come visit, slowly the media stopped following us around, they still talk about the organization and all the experiments they did, they even identified all the special people who lost their lives inside their facilities

Far from all that, my days with my beloved man is filled with affection and adoration, we loved being close to each other, sleeping in each other embrace, Gulf would wake up early to prepare breakfast for both of us and then send me off even though he can oversleep

The sights didn't stop so when I'm at work I would see Gulf either working, cooking, or walking out our pets, each time I find myself smiling, he also told me that he either sees me working our eating lunch with my other co-workers

The bond between us is so strong and it got even thicker with our mutual love, nothing can separate us at this point, we are meant to be together, I'm so glad that I made the decision that time and came back to Thailand to meet him

Everything was going great for almost half a year, we kept in touch with the others who slowly found and created their own beginnings and paths in life, Lan and Mei returned to school and they applied for the same high school, the elderly couple started living with their children and enjoying their time with their families

Liam and Kai went back to university to continue a high studies, each one of them was happily leading his/ her new life, the only partners I didn't hear from were Tanya and Elias, the last time we talked was about 4 months ago, Elias was recruited to a good company in Australia while Tanya started a job as a stylist's assistant gaining experience before she go independent and fulfil her dream job of being a stylist

Me and Gulf were a bit worried about them but nothing happened with no one else, Gulf told me that they were surly busy with their work, they didn't have it easy like us, like quickly finding a new house and starting our jobs as soon as we settled down, he says that but he is more concerned than me, then I suddenly got a message from Tanya

We hurried to meet up with Tanya, we both were so shocked and dead worried at this point, it's not Elias to travel without contacting Tanya or anyone, besides it seem that the police didn't know that he is here in Thailand

As soon as we met, Tanya explained that they both were so busy with work, they couldn't meet and kept calling each other from time to time, Elias was actually recruited by a government company becoming a white hacker working for them

Tanya isn't sure when he disappeared but she couldn't get a hold of him for 5 days, she searched every where but nothing, she went to the police and they searched right away since he is a special person but they couldn't find any trace or clue to his whereabouts

Finally, Tanya got a sight yesterday evening, seeing Elias going through some place while being on a decorated small boat, he was tied and she could tell he was feeling out of it as if he was drugged, she searched online according the view she saw and found out it was Bangkok floating market

Without losing any time, we rushed there and started searching asking people showing them his pictures, till we got lucky

"this man, I remember him, I saw him in a boat going that way with two other men, his hands were tied but they said he was mentally unstable and has to do it and they were taking him to far house so keep him away from people" a merchant said, he pointed the direction while Gulf went to rent a boat that we used following the path

"yes, this is the area I saw yesterday, it was clearer since it was day when I saw it" Tanya assured that we were on the right track

"if I'm not wrong, there is a small village up ahead" Gulf said

"that's right, only a few houses, nothing more"

"I'm sure he was kidnapped, someone is trying to hurt him" Tanya was shivering in fear, she looked exhausted and pale, she even refused to rest from her flight, as soon as we arrived to the other side, Tanya got another sight, we sat waiting for her

"I was right! They are hurting him, I saw him, that doctor!! He must have ran away, he is doing smth to him!" Tanya was freaking out with tears in her eyes, Gulf held her trying to calm her down

"we are going to save him right now, so please calm down and tell us about the place where he was" Gulf said

"I don't know, it looked like the experiment room in the facility, there was no windows and it was so old, there was even a hole in one of the walls"

"did you hear anything?"

"I think I heard a running water, like the sound of someone watering his garden, it came from above, I also heard two kids screaming about a balloon, I'm not sure"

"what about the smell?"

"it was so bad, as if the place covered with trash or there was dead animal in there it was so sickening and hard to breath in there"

"great, with this we can pin point his place" we started walking around checking every house and asking around

"... I didn't do it! It was his fault"

"you told me to do it, he told me to throw the balloon to him"

"I told you to give it to me not to throw it!" an argue between two siblings caught out attention so we got closer

"excuse me, did you lose a balloon by chance?" I asked, the kids and their mother looked surprised for a moment

"yes, we ran around playing with it but he lost it letting it fly away" the one who looked older said

"where did you lose it?" Gulf asked

"over there by that big tree"

"thank you, I promise I will get you many balloons so stop fighting" Gulf said making them excited before running toward the tree where we found a man cleaning his garden, we asked him about Elias and he thankfully saw him yesterday walking with another two man toward an old house

We went there to find it empty, we searched every corner, till we found a secret door leading downstairs, I took that the chance to notify the police explaining everything and telling them about our current location before we went down slowly making our way through a long tunnel

With each step, a certain smell was getting stronger, it was so bad, Tanya assured that it was the same smell, we finally reached a door, we could hear Elias screams and whimpers, he was in so much pain, Tanya tried to rush in but we stopped her

"we must take it slow"

"but Elias is so hurt"

"we know but what if we got there to find an army waiting for us then coming here to save elias will only be in vain"

"we must find a way to check the room" Gulf said as we went silent

"I will distract them, I will rush in and open the door widely so you both can see inside and decide what to do next" Tanya suggested

"no we can't let you do that, it's too dangerous" I said but she looked serious and determined

"he is my partner, I will do anything to save him, you did the same when Gulf got kidnapped, you do understand my feelings right?"

"yes I do but at least let me do it"

"no, they will let their guard down if they only see me since I'm his partner but if you appear it may get bad for all of us"

"alright, just don't try fighting all of them, we will back you up" Gulf said, we hid while Tanya gave a signal and rushed inside yelling Elias name, we saw that there was only three man and the doctor so we rushed behind her

Gulf took a hold of two of the man ordering them to sleep while I got a hold of the third man hitting him hard and getting the doctor who was terrified when seeing us, Tanya was feeing Elias and treating his wounds

"I knew you would come" a weak smile appeared on his face glancing to us before he passed out, thankfully the police were quick and arrested all of them, Elias was taken to a hospital where he got treated

We found out that the doctor really ran away that day along with three hunters and they traveled to Australia to hide waiting for things to calm down, unfortunately, they came across Elias and kidnapped him right away, they flee out of the country and stopped in Thailand

The doctor wanted to finish his experiments and get revenge, he hated us so much and was even planning to get me and Gulf since we were also in Bangkok, he then revealed that he was heading to Russia were another doctor and some other hunters were hiding there

The government responded quickly and Russia was contacted to get the rest of the group who were caught in about 3 days, Elias was getting better and we thankfully found him so quickly

"thank you so much, we own you our lives" Elias thanked us resting at our house

"we did nothing, it's all thanks to Tanya" he smiled to her as she smiled back

"I wasn't so careful, I thought it was completely over, I also was so focused on getting used to my work and my work place"

"we also thought it was completely over but now it's surely over with the doctor getting caught" Gulf assured him, they stayed for about two weeks before returning home

"I was so worried, I'm glad it all went well" Gulf said

"yes, I also was so carefree, it could be us who were taken, I'm relieved nothing bad happened to anyone"

"those men always destroy our plans, we were supposed to go on a date last Sunday" I smiled seeing Gulf pouting, I held him closer planting a kiss on his milky lips

"it can't be helped, let's go tomorrow, a private adult date" he glared at me knowing my intention

"you're becoming a pervert" I smirked

"I can't help it while having a sexy, cute and enchanting lover like you"

"and I can never win against your touch and seduction skills you have"

"that's why we are lovers" I leaned again kissing him with passion

This is how our life is going, we just accept what is happening to us and quickly move on enjoying our life together as a couple not wanting to miss any second of this precious time we have, no matter what we may face we will face it together
