Third POV 

 With Dushala and Co. 

"Tumse milkar aisa lag raha Hai ki kisi kohi hui behen se mil rahin Hun." (On meeting you it felt like I was meeting a long lost sister.) Princess Dushala tells her new friend Princess Urvashi. 

"Hain na." (I know, right?) Princess Urvashi smiles brightly at the other lady. "Mujhe bhi aisa hi lag raha tha. Tumne meri baat muh se chinli." (I felt exactly same. You just snatched the words out of my mouth.)

Silence falls between the two new friends.
Princess Urvashi looks ahead mentally thanking the gods to have met these beautiful people. Some who were ready to help her even though she had just lost her status of being the princess.

Princess Dushala on the other hand, glanced back to look at her brother and other friend- Princess Aarushi.
A soft giggle escaped her lips as she looked at the two.

"Kya Ho Gaya?" (What has happened?) Princess Urvashi questions, confused as to why Princess Dushala giggled, that to so suddenly.

"Un dono ko dekho." (Look at those two.) Princess Dushala says to her, as she jerks her head in the direction of her following brother and friend.

Princess Urvashi's mouth falls open in surprise as she stares at the two.
"Oh Ram!" (oh God!) she exclaims softly.

"Hmm, Ram toh nahi pata par Vikarna se kam chalana padega is Sita ko." (Hmm, I do not know about Ram but this Sita will have to compromise with Vikarna.) Princess Dushala giggles again.
"Pata Bhabhi hoti na, toh in dono ki abhi shaadi karva deti." (You know, if Bhabhi had been here, she would have got them both married right now.)

"Bhabhi?" Princess Urvashi raises an eyebrow. "Ang- Rani?"

Princess Dushala falters, a little. Oh Shit! What do I do now? Act like I am sad? Yes, let us do this.
Princess Dushala smiles softly, "Kabhi Kabhi ko insaan itna jud jata Hai na, ki unki yaad har choti- choti Baat par aajati Hai." (Some times, you get attached to some one so much that you rememeber them at every little thing you do.)

"Sahi hi karti." (She would have done the right thing.) Princess Urvashi nods at the two. "Dekho kaise tamatar jaise laal Ho rahein Hai." (Just look at them, both of them are red like tomatoes.)

"Dono ke dono!" (Exactly, both of them!) Princess Dushala adds with a small laugh.

Silence befell again as the two horses continued to move ahead, towards Anga. 

Vikarna was wondering how his Jyeshta truly managed it. 
Jyeshta Karn had fall in love with Bhabhi Ananya. A lady, he would lie, about not having a crush on. She was just so beautiful. 

So, how did his Jyeshta manage to keep himself under control? 
Because right now it seemed very hard to Vikarna to handle himself in presence of this enchanting lady Aarushi.

And thus, now Vikarna had decided that he was asking this to his Jyeshta the first time they meet face to face. 

-- Time Skip --

They had been travelling for half of a Praha now and they reached the outskirts of the Magadha Kingdom that on further travelling led to Anga.

It was just the outskirts of Magadha so there was not much they could come across but they took a small break at the temple of there.
The horse riding can be tiering for the back, so they had to rest.

"Hume aandar bhi janaa chahhiye." (We should go inside too!) Princess Aarushi suggests lightly.

Princess Urvashi rolls his eyes, "Zarrori thodi Hai?" (It is not compulsory, right?)

"Bhabhi kehti Hain ki Bhagwaan ke ghar zarror jana chahhiye, chahe vishwas Ho ya na Ho." (Bhabhi says that we should always visit lord's house, regardless of the fact of whether you believe in them or not.) Princess Dushala says.

"Agar Mujhe vishwas nahi Hai toh jane ka Kya fayda?" (If I do not believe in them, what is the point of going in there?)  Princess Urvashi looks funny at her friend.

"Puja karne ke liye nahi toh aapne man ko shant karne wahan chale jana chahhiye." (If not to pray, you should go in there to calm yourself, to bring peace to yourself.) Prince Vikarna answers this time, not letting Dushala speak.  
"Vishwas ki baat toh puja karne par aati Hai na? Bhabhi toh yeh bhi kehti Hain, ki agar puja aur shanti dono nahi Ho sakti toh mandir aur mandir Mein sthapit murthi ko hi dekhne chale jana chahhiye." (Belief comes when you start to pray, right? Bhabhi even says that if you neither want to pray in the temple nor can you calm yourself, then you should visit the temple to admire the temple and the statue inside the temple.) 

"Maaf kijiyega, par Anga Rani kafi ajeeb thi." (Pardon me but I think that Anga- Rani was very weird.) Princess Urvashi comments.

"Bhabhi Kehti Hain ki jo log baaki se alag hote Hain woh sab ko ajeeb hi lagte Hain." (Bhabhi says that when people are different than normal then others often find them weird.) Prince Vikarna articulates instantly, shrugging as if it did not matter.

"Chalona Jiji, aisi bhi Kya zid Hai?" (Come on sister, what kind of contumacy is this?) Princess Aarushi pouts at her sister. 
Who sighs looking at his sisters face and turns in direction of the temple.

Smiling brightly Aarushi follows and the Hastinapur siblings follow amused at how one pleading reaction of Aarushi got Urvashi moving.

The temple was of the God of Gods, Shiva.
The black Shivling sat in the middle of the room and was surrounded by the rest of his family, his wife Goddess Parvati and their two kinds God Kartik and God Ganesh.

The group of four sat on their knees in front of the Shivling closed their eyes and prayed to the God of Gods.

Princess Urvashi was conflicted of the whole ordeal so she decided to do what Bhabhi of Princess Dushala said. She decided to center herself, earth herself.
Princess Aarushi knew very well what she wanted to do unlike her sister. She prayed to the family in front of her to protect her and her sister. At last, she even added the name of what seemed to her like a prince in shining armor.

Princess Dushala was fully aware of what she had to say as she sat there kneeling, she prayed for safety of her brothers along with her sister - in- law and prayed to Goddess Parvati that she gets married as soon as possible.
Prince Vikarna prayed for the welfare of his family. His parents. Maha Mahim. Maha Mantri. Kaki Kunti. Brothers. Bhabhi. Sister. Ashwatthama, his to be brother- in- law, or that is what he wanted him to be.

Princess Dushala was the first one done, rising from her position, she turns to look around. And finds an old couple looking at them four.
She walked towards them.

"Pranipatra Devi!" (Greetings lady!) The man greets, his voice rough and seemed to give him a lot of pain to speak.

"Pranipatra!" (Greetings!) She greeted back.
Looking at them two, she felt her heart heave, they both were so thin and seemed so mal- nourished. Poverty really was a harsh thing.

She lowers herself in front of the couple, "Apne kitne din se khana nahi khaya?" (Since how many days have you both had nothing?)

"Ek hafta Ho Gaya Devi." (It has been one week, Lady.) The man rasps out. Her heart chilled at that. 

She instantly rose up and went to her horse and looked in her bag for something to eat. She found some fresh fruits, smiling she returns with them.

"Yeh lijiye!" (Here, have theses!) She extends her hand filled with apples, bananas and pears.

"Main yeh kaise le sakta Hun, Devi?" (How can I take this, lady?) The man shakes his head.
"Mere pas aapko dene ke liye bhi kuch nahi Hai!" (I have nothing to give you in return.)

"Yeh lijiye aur badle Mein Mujhe Ashirwad dijiye!" (Take these and in return bless me!) Princess Dushala smiles at the couple completely, enchantingly. "Mujhe aapke Ashirwad ke siva aur kuch nahi chahhiye." (I do not need anything other than your blessings!)

"Bhagwan tumhe hamesha khush rakhega!" (May God always keep you happy!) The couple blesses Dushala.

In turn Dushala pulls one of her chain and places it in the hands of the lady. 

"Iski koi zarrorat nahi Hai, Devi!" (There is no need of this, lady!)

Dushala pouts, "Aap Mujhe aapni putri nahi manti?" (You do not consider me your daughter?)

The man laughs while the lady just looks stunned. "Awashya, putri! Hum kyun nahi karenge?" (Of course, daughter! Why would we not?)

"Toh fir aapni putri se yeh tohfa le lijiye." (Then take this small gift from your daughter!) Dushala says, smiling cheekily. "Aur Mujhe Ashirwad dijiye ki meri shaadi mere premi se jaldi Ho jaye." (And bless me that I get married to my lover as soon as possible!)

"Awashya hogi putri!" (For sure, daughter!) The lady carcasses Dushala's cheeks. "Ek ma ki dua Hai, tumhari shaadi us ladke se jaldi hi hogi." (It is a mother's orison, your marriage with that guy will happen soon.) 

Vikarna who was the second to get up from his prayers, smiled looking at his sister. 
She is going to be an awesome queen. The country of Panchal is lucky to have her! 

Bhabhi would be so proud to see Dushala like this. 
Hey Mahadev! Look after her please. 

-- Time Skip -- 

Sun was just going down when the group of four reached Anga. 
All them were but at the same time very much excited. 

Dushala and Vikarna to meet their older brother, Yuyutsu. 
While the Princess of Ayodhya were excited to leave at another palace that was neither their own nor the one that belonged to maternal grand parents  

Yuyutsu who was waiting for them at the gate, and had been very excited of his half siblings visiting, was surprised to see two other people along with Dushala and Vikarna. The biggest thing being that both of them were ladies. Royal ladies, that too.  

Oh lord! What did these two do? 
I hope it was nothing illegal. I will be in a mess if that is the case.
