Third POV

In Jungle

The others smiled when they saw Ananya returning back, dragging Duryodhana with her. Everything seemed fine, at least for now.

"Ab hum aage-" (Now what we-)

Before Bheema could complete the sentence Karn spoke up, cutting him off.

"Tumhe pata tha, yeh hoga." (You knew, this would happen.) He says, directing the question at Ananya.

Ananya looks at him, "Varna Vat ke bare Mein? Haan Mujhe gyat tha." (About Varna Vat? Yes, I knew.)

"Gyat tha!?" (Knew that!?) All the brothers shriek together.

"Toh aapne kuch Kiya Kyun nahi, Bhabhi Ma?" (Then why did you not do anything, Bhabhi Ma?) Arjun questions.

"Haan Bhabhi Ma, aapne kuch kaha Kyun nahi?" (Yes, Bhabhi Ma, why did you not say anything?) Nakul practically repeated Arjun's question.

"Kya karti? Aur hota bhi Kya, usse?" (What would I have done? And what would have happened out of that?) Ananya questions.

"Par Bhabhi Ma -" (But Bhabhi Ma -) Duryodhana begins, but is cut off by his sister- in- law.

"Nahi, Duryodhana. Samay ke saath khilwar sahi nahi hai. Mere aane se samay Mein badlwa aaye Hain, Hume usme jyada ched char nahi karna chahhiye." (No, Duryodhana. We should not play with time. Due to my coming here, there has been many changes in the time line, but we should not meddle with it much.) Ananya explains.

"Zyada? Matlab aap abhi bhi kuch badalne walin Hain?" (Much? Meaning you are still thinking of changing something?) Sehdev questions.

"Haan." (Yes.) Ananya nods.

"Kya?" (What?) Karn questions.

"Jo sahi Mein hona chahhiye." (Whatever really should have happened.) Ananya says, mysteriously.

"Aap ke kehne ka Tatparya?" (Why do you mean?) Bheema questions.

"Jo kahani Maine aap sab ke bare Mein phadi hai, uske hisab se, tum panch pandav aur Mata jungle Mein rehte." (The story, I read about you all, had the five of you Pandeva's and mother living in the jungle.) Ananya explains.
"Par hum waisa nahi karenge, puri tarah nahi." (But we will not do that, at least not completely.)

"Putri?" (Daughter?) Rani Kunti speaks after a long time.

"Mumma, Yudhishthira ka hak srif rajya par nahi hai. Rajya Mein rehne wale har ek ka hakk hai Yudhishthira par, kyunki woh unka Yuvraj hai." (Mumma, Yudhishthira does not only have right on the kingdom. The people all leaving in the kingdom, have right on Yudhishthira, because he was their crown prince.) Ananya says. "Yudhishthira ne jo aapne logon se vada Kiya hai, uska man rakhna chahhiye." (Yudhishthira has promised something to his people, he should keep up his promise.)

The brothers ponder over what their Bhabhi Ma just said.
And she was right, like always.

"Utna hi nahi, tum sab ka Raj Kumar Ho kar bhi ek kartavya hai, tumhare Rajya ke prati, vahan ke logon ke prati." (Not only that, you all prince also have a sense of duty towards the kingdom, and the people living there.) Ananya says slowly.

"Mumma," She turns to her mother and pulls her mothers' hands in her own. "Main janti Hun ki aap wahan nahi jana chahhti Hain kyunki unhone humae saath aisa Kiya hai. Par Mumma, aapki praja bhi toh aapke Putra saman Hain, unhe in Raksha ke hathoan chodna sahi toh nahi hai na?" (I know that you do not want to go there because of what they have done to us. But Mumma, the people of your kingdom are like your sons, leaving them in the hands of these devil re- incarnate is not right, na?)

"Par Putri -" (But daughter -)

"Chinta mat karo, Mumma. Is bar, Maine bhi piche nahi hatna hai." (Do not worry, Mumma. This time we are also not going to back down.) Ananya promises her mother. "Is Shakku Mama ko is bar chodenge nahi." (We will not leave this Shakku Mama.)

The brothers snort at the name. While Rani Kunti just raises an eyebrow, "Main punchun?" (Should I even ask?)

The smile she gets back was the answer enough.

"Toh Bhabhi Ma, humme Kya karna chahhiye?" (So, Bhabhi Ma, what should we do?) Yudhishthira questions. "Wapas Hastinapur chalein?" (Should we return to Hastinapur?)

"Nahi." (No.) Ananya shakes her head. "Hum abhi Hastinapur nahi lotenge. Kuch samay paschat, aapni shakti aur ekta ko bhada kar lotenge." (No, we will not return to Hastinapur, right now. After some time, when we have increased our power and togetherness, we will return.)

"Par Putri, abhi Kyun nahi?" (But daughter, why not right not?) Rani Kunti ask, confused as to why her daughter- in- law wanted things in this way.

"Mumma, do karn hai; ek ki ab aapne kaha hai toh aapki baat toh maneg hum. Aur dosra ki niyati Mein toh pehle yahi likha tha na?" (Mumma, there are two reasosn. One, that you have said that we will stay in forest so we follow your order. And second, that Niyati wanted us to do this, right?) Ananya answers.
"Waise bhi jungle Mein rehne se insaan ki har shreni Mein vridhi hoti hai." (As also, living in a jungle is quite beneficially for us in various areas.)

"Bhabhi Ma, ek baat" (Bhabhi ma, one thing.) Sehdev speaks up.

"Haan, Sehdev bolo." (Yes, Sehdev, say?) Ananya nods, urging him to speak.

"Aap bhavishya jaanti Hain. Kya woh galat nahi hai?" (You know the future. Is it not wrong in some ways?)

"Bhavishya tab ka jaanti Hun, jab main yahan nahi. Mere yahan aane se kafi badlav aaye Hain, Sehdev." (I know the future when I was not here. Things have changed that I am now here, Sehdev.)

"Par, Lashkargrah wala hadsa toh ...." (But the incident of Lashkargrah .......) Arjun trails off, not knowing how to finish it off.

"Mujhe nahi pata Aru. Par Mujhe lagta hai, shayaad Ho sakta hai ki saari chijein nahi baldti." (I do not really know, Aru. But I think, that maybe it is that all things do not change.) Ananya shrugs.

"Aur ..." (And) Ananya drawls smirking at Arjun. "Meri aasha toh yeh ki devrani bhi nahi badlegi." (I do hope that my sister- in- laws will also not change.)

Making the said guy blush a beautiful shade of red.
As the other brothers laugh at his plight.

"Jyada mat haso, tum sab ki bhi hone wali biwi ko main jaanti Hun." (Do not laugh much, I know all of your to- be- wife's too.) She smiles at them, so sweetly, that they shudder in fright.

"Aise Bhabhi Ma, aapko darn ahi laga?" (By the way, Bhabhi Ma, did you not feel scared?) Nakul questions, trying to change the topic. "Humare saath aane Mein, mera matlab hai." (To come with us, I mean.)

Ananya smiles, "Yeh toh raj ki baat hai, Nakul." (That is a secret, Nakul.)

"Fir bhi, Bhabhi Ma," (Then also Bhabhi Ma.) Duryodhana joins in with a pouting Nakul. "Hame Bataaiye na." (Tell us, na.)

"Haan Bhabhi Ma." (Yes, Bhabhi Ma.) Bheema nods.

"Main Karn- Sangini Hun, murkhoan." (I am Karn's wife, silly.) Ananya laughs. "Mujhe darane ki koi baat nahi hai, jab tak ki vah mere saath hai" (I have nothing to be scared of, until I have him.)

She completes with another laugh, making Rani Kunti laugh. And Karn to beam in pride of having such a pride.

"Aap Jyeshta se bahut pyaar karti Hain na, Bhabhi Ma." (You love elder brother a lot, right, Bhabhi Ma?) Yudhishthira smiles.
"Achcha lagta hai dekh kar." (It is nice to see that.)

"Oye Hoye, Mundaya." Ananya chuckles, pulling Yudhishthira's cheeks.

Making the said boy pout, and whine. "Bhabhi Ma!"

As the others once again laugh.
Such small laughs were relief at such hard times.

********

How was the update for the day?

Karn figured something out.

The others now know that she knows their future.
And that includes their wives.

The amount of love that Karn and Ananya have for one another, rivals the love of Radha- Krishna. Does it or not?

They seem happy for the time being.

Blissful, perhaps too.
