Third POV
In Hastinapur
(The day Kaunteya's and Raj Mata left.)
"Mere Bachche!" (My child)
"Ji, Mama Shree? Kya Hua?" (Yes, uncle? What happened?)
"In Kaunteya ka kuch karna hoga, hume." (We need to do something of these Kaunteya's)
"Kya? Kyun?" (What? Why?)
"Uffu Murkh, Pandeva ke jagah tumhe agar aapna hak chahhiye toh un che ko raaste se hatana hoga." (Uffu Idiot, If in the place of Pandeva's, you want your birth right, you need to push them out of the way.)
"Aur Bhrata Duryodhana ka Kya?" (And what about brother Duryodhana?) Dushassan asks, however it seemed, he did care for his elder brother.
"Agar woh raaste ka kata Banega, toh usse bhi hatana hoga." (If becomes the thorn in our path, we will need to remove him too.) Mama Shree Shakuni, the King of Gandhar tells his nephew.
"Par Mama shree, woh mere Jyeshta bhrata Hain." (Bu Mama Shree, he is my own elder brother.) Dushassan frowns in dis- agreement and confusion
"Usse Kya farak padta hai." (And how does that matter, even?) His Mama Shree Shakuni asks.
"Par-" (But-) Dushassan tries to fight but Gandhar Raj Shakuni cuts him off.
"Agar who rahega toh Kauravas kabhi bhi rajya nahi le payenge." (He if remains alive, the Kauravas will never be able to rule, and have the throne.)
Dushassan could not speak anything more. He was speechless. How could his uncle say something like this? Especially for his elder brother Duryodhana?
"Mama Shree?" (Uncle?) A voice called from the entrance of the room.
Both the members of the room turned to find, Dushalan, one of Dushassan's younger brother standing there.
"Haan Dushalan?" (Yes Dushalan?) Gandhar Raj questions his nephew.
"Woh, aapne jinko bulaya tha, woh aagaye." (The people who you called for? Are here, now.) He informs once he is standing five feet from the two.
"Le aao, unhe." (Bring them.) Gandhar Raj says. "Wahan." (There.)
"Ji, Mama Shree." (Yes, uncle.) Dushalan nods, walking back out of the room.
Dushassan turned to his uncle in shock, what was he talking about? Who was here? Why did his uncle call for them? What is he planning?
"Aao Dushassan." (Come Dushassan.) Gandhar Raj Shakuni instructs Dushassan to follow him.
"Kahan Mama Shree?" (Where, uncle?) Dushassan asks.
"Abhi dekh lena." (You will see now.) Was the reply that came.
Dushassan follows his uncle as he takes Dushassan through halls and at last to the secluded part of the palace, the one that has the least guard.
"Mama Shree? Bhrata Dushassan?" (Uncle? Brother Dushassan?) A voice calls and then turn in surprise to see, Vikarna sitting on one of the opening walls there, a book in his hand.
"Vikarna? Tum yahan Kya kar Rahe Ho?" (Vikarna? What are you doing here?) Mama Shree questions.
"Main toh yahan aata rehta Hun. Yahan Shanti rehti hai na. Tohi kitabein phadta Hun." (I keep coming here, regularly. There is a solitude here, right. So, I read books here.) Vikarna answers. "Aap kahan ja rahein Hain?" (What are you going to do?)
"Tumhe chinta karne ki koi zarrorat nahi hai, mere bachhe." (You do not need to worry about it, my child.)
"Par Mama Shree, Mujhe bhi janna hai. Mai bhi aapki madd karna chachta Hun, jo bhi aap kar rahein Hain us Mein." (But uncle, I also want to come. I want to help you too. In whatever you are doing.) Vikarna says getting down from his place and walking to his uncle.
Shakuni looks at him critically before nodding and motioning them to follow quietly. Vikarna and Dushassan follows their uncle as told. The former was smirking while the latter was confused.
"Aao Puranjay." (Come Puranjay.) Gandhar Raj Shakuni smiles.
"Yeh kon hai Mama Shree?" (Who is he Mama Shree?) Vikarna questions.
"Puro Chan ka Putra." (Puro Chan's son.) Shakuni says.
In Varna Vat
"Nahi Putra, Hum ab Hastinapur nahi jayenge." (No, sons. We are not going to go to Hastinapur now.) Raj Mata Kunti declares her decision.
"Us Rajya ka Darwaja ab humare liye band Ho chuka hai." (The gates of that place are closed for us.) Raj Mata Kunti says.
"Yeh Kya keh rahin Hain aap mata?" (What are you talking about mother?) Bheema asks, surprised. "Woh Ghar hai humara." (That is our home.)
"Kaisa ghar?" (What house?) Raj Mata speaks in between. "Aisa bhi kahin ghar hota hai, Jahan bache ko uske hi bhai ke hathon zehar khila diya jaye? Jahan uske meitra ke hathon us par pathar gir wayein jaye? Jahan sab ko marne ka shady antra banaya jaye?" (Is it even a house, where a kids' own brother is turned against him and made to get the kid poison? Where his own friend is turned to make stones fall on him? Where everybody's death conspiracy is made?)
"Yeh bhi koi ghar hota hai, Bheema? Bolo Bheema, Kya aisa hi ghar chahhiye tumhe?" (Is that even a type of house? Say Bheema, is that a type of house that you want to have?)
"Par Mata Bhrata Yudhishthira Yuvraj Hain, Hastinapur ke." (But mother, brother Yudhishthira is the crown prince of Hastinapur.) Arjun protests.
"Hume koi lalsa nahi hai Rajya ki. Ya kisi Rajya singhasan ki. Tumhare Pita ji ne swayam rajya de Diya tha Aur van Mein Rahe the. Bhulgaye?" (We have no want of any kingdom. Or of any royal throne. Your father, himself gave up his throne and went to live in the forest.) Raj Mata Kunti asks, looking at her sons.
"Tumhar jaman jangal mein Hua tha. Jangal hi woh jagah hai Jahan rishi rehte Hain. Woh sabse Pavitra jagah hai." (You all were born in the forest. Forest is the place where most sages stay. It is the most holy place.)
"Par Mata is Mein Bhrata Duryodhana ko bhi van Mein rehna padega, woh sahi thodi hai?" (But Mother why should we drag brother Duryodhana in all this, it is not correct, right?) Nakul questions. "Aur Bhabhi Ma ka Kya?" (And what about Bhabhi Ma?)
"Mere ko koi dikat nahi hai." (I have no problem.) Duryodhana pitches in. "Agar is Rajya Mahal Mein Mujhe bhi jalna tha toh main bhi tum sab ke saath hi rahunga. Jahan bhi tum jao." (If in this royal palace, I had to die due to the fire then I will also stay with you all. Wherever you go.)
"Tum mere Putra hi Ho, Duryodhana." (You are my son only, Duryodhana.) Raj Mata says. "Tum mere liye utne hi pyare Ho jitne mere baaki Putra." (You are as loving and important to me as the rest of my sons. )
"Dhanyavad Ma." (Thank you, mom.) Duryodhana says, emotion flowing through his tone and Raj Mata hugs him. Slowly the others join.
But they look up from the hug on hearing a bang.
They turn to see two body flying in the room and hitting the wall on a side, falling on the body that had already come before.
They turn to the get to see Ananya drag some people in the room.
She grabs them with their cloth and throws them, almost sending him flying through the room, joining the other bodies. The ones that had had the opportunity before to get banged against the wall.
"Aur Bhabhi Ma ko bhi Koi dikat nahi hone wali hai." (And I doubt Bhabhi ma is going to have any problem, too.) Duryodhana exclaims, looking at the bodies wide eyed.

How was the update for the day?
They planned it of course.
But what is Vikarna doing there?
And whose side is he on?
Raj Mata is saying that they should stay in forest will they?
Duryodhana and Kunti consider each other as mother and son respectively.
He is going with them.
Our Ananya is a fighter.
Looks like she has quite some strength 😉
