Third POV

The royal family of Dwarka were having their lunch. It has been five days since Krishna and Ananya had the talk. Though nobody else knew about this, other than those two.

She had not be in her best state and now the royal family was worried.

"Ananya."

"Ananya!"

"ANANYA!" Mata Devaki screamed.

"Ji Mata?" (Yes mother.) Ananya asks, as she turns to look at her mother.

"Kahan rehti Ho, aaj- kal? Tabyat toh theek hai tumhari? Kuch baat hai kya? Agar aisa hai toh bolo, putri. Hum madd kar denge tumhari." (Where are you these days? Are you feeling alright? Is there something, you want to say? If that is the case, daughter, say about it. We will help you.) Mata asks Ananya.

"Nahi Matey, hum bilkul theek Hain. Bas kuch socch Rahe the." (No mother, I am completely alright. I was just thinking something.) Ananya re- assures her Mata.

"Aisi socch ka Kya fayda, jo dusre ki awaj mita de?" (What is the point of such thought, when it makes someone else lose their voice.) Rani Devaki sighed, as she sat down again.

"Aap bekar hi chinta kar rahi hai Mata, be- fire rahiye." (You are upset, without any point mother, stay without any worry.) Ananya tells her Mata.

Krishna pokes Subhadra discreetly, motioning to Ananya. Subhadra nods in understanding and catches Dushala's hand.

"Di, humare saath samey vyathith kijiyega?" (Elders sister, will you spend some time with us?)

"Kyun nahi?" (Why not?) Ananya smiles at them.

And so, the three girls walk out of the room, whispering as they plan how to spend the late afternoon.
Back in the room, Mata Devaki was staring at the retreating figure of the three girls. Worry evident on her face, she was concerned for her new daughter.

"Chinta ki koi baat nahi hai Mata." (There is no need to worry, mother.) Balram ensures his mother.

"Kaise nahi karun chinta? Woh meri beti hai, meri jaan hai woh." (How will I not worry? She is my daughter, my life line.) Mata Devaki sighs.

"Mujhe lagta hai, uska shaadi karne ka samey aa Gaya hai." (I think, her time to get her married.) Krishna says. The three people look at her surprised.

"Kya?!" (What?) Devaki Mata screeched. "Woh abhi toh aayi hai." (She has just come.)

"Sahi toh keh raha hai, Kanha." (Kanha, is saying the right thing.) Maharaj interrupted.

"Par Arya, woh...." (But, dear, that ....)

"Putri, hai humari, jaante Hain. Par woh badi bhi Ho rahi hai na?" (She is my daughter, I know. But she getting older na?) Maharaj asks.

Mata Devaki slumps in her seat. She couldn't dis- agree with her husband, because it was truth.

"Hume ladke ki khoj kari chahhiye." (We should look for a guy.) Maharaj says.

Balram looks at his younger brother, and lord, wondering how this was going to spin out. Will his sister have to fight for her love, right now also, or the future enough?

Her future has enough. Krishna's voice rang in his head.

Well, at least she will enjoy her early married life. Balram sighed.

"Main ek aise insaan ko jaanta hun." (I know one such guy, fit for the role.) Krishna drawls, slowly.

"Kon?" (Who?)

"Radheya Karn."

"Ang- Raj?" Maharaj asks in surprise.

"Ho sakta hai, ki ... Ho sakta hai." (It maybe that ... maybe) He repeats. "Ki Ananya unhe pasanda karti Ho..." (Ananya likes him.) he trailed off, a smirk on his face.

"Aur tumhe yeh pata hai kyunki?" (And you know this because?) Mata Devaki asks.

"Main uska bhai Hun, ma, Mujhe pata hona chahiye." (I am her bhai, I should know, Ma.) Krishna says in an 'duh' tone.

"Hum usse pehele baat karenge." (We will talk to her first.) Mata Devaki says. "Fir khojiyega, aap Pati us ke liye." (Then you can look husband for her.)

"Jesi aapki ichcha, Priye." (As you wish, sweetheart.) Maharaj agreed.

-- Time Skip –

Maharaj, Maharani, Krishna, Balram and Ananya were in Maharaj's study room, they were discussing some ways to help people out. Schemes and policies were being discussed.

"MAHARAJ!"

"PITA SHREE" Two voices call, as they enter the room.

"Haan, Putri, bolo?" (Yes, daughters say.) Maharaj asks surprised at the sudden out- burst.

"Mata Kunti ne aap ke liye, patr bheja hai." (Mother Kunti, has sent a letter for you.) Dushala explains, as she hands the letter to her friend's father.

Maharaj frowns, but opens the letter and starts to read, his face showing many emotions, shock, surprise, disbelief and dis- appointment.
Ananya had a very nice idea, at what was there in the letter.

Maharaj placed the letter on the table in front of him as a few tears spilt from his eyes. Instantly, Ananya was there, hugging him and whispering on how it wasn't his fault.

"Kya Hua, Arya?" (What happened, dear?) Mata Devaki asks, confused. Though happy at the display of bond.

Maharaj cams himself and narrates on what Rani Kunti had written, on how Karn was her eldest child. She wanted them to keep it a surprise for now, until the fact that he was declared officially.
Maharaj was met faces of various emotions, like his except Ananya. She looked quite normal, and her expression said that she already knew about it.

"Mujhe lagta hi tha." (I had suspicion) Dushala says.

"Tumhe pata tha." (You knew.) Maharaj says in surprise, looking at Ananya.

"Hmm, main wahin thi jab yeh baat Ho rahi thi." (Hmm, I was there when this talk was going on.) Ananya answers.

"Kyun?" (Why?) Mata Devaki asks.

"Ka matlab Kyun, Mata?" (What do you mean by why, mother?) Ananya looks at her mother surprise. "Unhone bulaya tha." (They called me.)

"Kisne?" (Who?)

"Dono ne. Bua ne aur Karn ne." (Both of them, aunt and Karn.) Ananya bites her lips, at the end of her sentence.

"Karn? Woh tumse bada hai na?" (Karn? He is elder than you, right?) Mata Devaki questions.

"Umm, unhone bola Karn bulane ko." (Umm, he told me to call him that.) Ananya bites her inner cheeks, praying that she doesn't blush.

"Itna baat karte the tum dono?" (You both talked, so much?) Mata Devaki enquires.

"Kya yaar, Ma? Woh wahan the toh hum baat karte the, boyfriend thodi hai woh humara." (What, Ma? He was there so we talked, he isn't my boyfriend na.) Ananya throws her hand in the air and walked out of the room.

"Boyfriend?" Dushala asks confused.

"Koi ladka jo us se pyaar kare, ya sanam." (A guy, who loves her, or 'Sanam') Subhadra shrugs.

"Aur tumhe pata hai kyunki." (And you know this because?)

"Unhone bataya." (She told me.) Subhadra answers her mother.

Mata Devaki's eyes widen, "Uska koi boyfriend, raha hai Kya?" (Did she have a boyfriend?)

"Nahi." (No) Subhadra answers, again. "Unhone bataya tha ki unhe wahan koi ladka achcha nahi laga tha, woh bahut chayanshil Hain." (She had told us that she didn't like any guy in Kaliyuga, she is quite choosy.)

Mata Devaki takes a breath of sigh. Thank God, this was better.
