Karn POV
"Chinta ki koi bat nahi hai, hum aapke saath rahenge." (You do not need to worry; I will be with you all along.) I assure her. Her eyes lit a little.
"Humare bagal Mein?" (Beside me?) she checks.
"Nahi, aap ke saath" (No, with you.) I answer, my eyes searching her.
She is blushing. Aww! So cute.
I call for my horse Neerad and jump on it before effortlessly hauling a raised Ananya on the horse. She gasped in surprise, at my display of strength.
To tease her and to ensure her safety, I tug her in front of me. And putting my hands around her I hold the reins of the horse.
She moves a little settling down and pulling her bag to the front. Thus, there is nothing between us. It's her back direct to my front.
I wonder what she thinks of this arrangement.
Galloping out of the royal palace, I take a back route, to escape the main crowd and head towards the borders of Hastinapur where, Anga meets. The border has a beautiful mountain terrain. It is all green, so the plants create a canopy over the path. Giving a very cool look and feel to it too.
"Aapko dhup ankh par nahi padta?" (Don't you feel the sun rays on your eyes?) she asks.
"Padta hai, par aur logon ke tarah woh Mujhe pareshani nahi hoti." (It does, but not look you guys, I am not irritated.) I tell her, thinking off the times before I knew the truth. "Mujhe woh kuch shakti bhi deti hai, Ab Mujhe pata hai Kyun." (It gives me some power, now I know why.)
"Oh! Achcha hai." (Oh! Nice.) she nods. She then proceeds to take something out of her bag and put it on. Oh! it's her specs, I suppose.
Feeling an intense gaze from her on me, I look down to find her staring at me. I did a double take on her specs. They are dark colored, so I can't see her eyes. She turns her head away. Sad.
"Yeh Kya hai?" (What is this?) I ask.
"Is se goggles keh tein hai." (We call these goggles.) She informs me. "Ise Surya ke kirno, se aapne ankh ko bachane ke liye pehentein hai." (This is worn to prevent eyes from sun's rays.)
Nodding, I look ahead. Trying to pay attention on the road and not the girl in front of me. We pass few roads and for what was like 45 minutes later we were on the path to the cliff- mountain thing.
The road was fairly straight and without any innervations of any many sorts. So, I diverted my 75% of attention to the girl in front of me.
She was observing everything and I knew this because, she kept rotating her had here and there, it felt nice to have her in my arms. She fit perfectly in them, also in my body. I wonder why I was like this around her.
When she was in a room, I felt like it was only the two of us and no other thing mattered. I get so busy in her and her talking that I don't notice things happening around me. There could be a war raging behind me but if I had Ananya talking, I doubt I could move away.
I bend forward a little so that my mouth is directly on her ear, "Aaj aap vishes roop se khoobsurat lag rahin hai." (Today you are particularly looking beautiful) I feel her stiffen, "Oh! Vishes roop se hot, usse sahi kar lijiye ga." (Oh! Particularly hot, please correct it.)
I make sure my lips brush against her ears.
See, this is what I meant. The things I do, were not something I was taught to do or for that matter I knew that I could do.
She blushes in reaction and bites her lip. I slip the rein of my right away and pull her chin down, pulling her lower lip free.
"Woh srif hum kar saktein hai." (Only I can do that.) I whisper.
OH LORD! What am I doing?
"Aap pakka yahin se hai na, ya Kaliyuga se aaye Hain?" (You sure are from here? Or have you dropped from Kaliyuga?) she questions. And I laugh.
"Hum pahunch Gaye." (We have reached) I tell her, once we reach.
After getting down from the horse, I pull her along. She mumbled a thank you before she started to look around, she pulls her goggles away, placing them on her head.
She looks in awe with her surroundings, observing everything. She is such an open book, now, I had never seen so many emotions on her face before.
"Kitna sundar hai." (So beautiful) She gasps.
"Hain na." (Right) I agree.
After her roaming around a few while, I call her "Idhaar aao." (Come here.)
I take her to an edge from where both the Rajya were visible. And it was beautiful, the greenery, the calmness, the river, the mountains. It all was perfect.
She observes it for a few minutes, her eyes darting in all directions. Her eyes narrowing to look much more closely at the things. I watch her face as it changes from confusion to surprise to awe to stunned one.
Suddenly, she turns around and hugs me, scaring the day lights out of me.
"Dhanyavad. Mujhe yeh jagah bahut pasanda aayi. Shukriya aap Mujhe yahan laye." (Thank you, I loved this place. Thanks for bringing me here.)
I smile in the embrace, feeling content of my decision. "Hum yeh jan kar achcha laga ki aapko yeh jagah achchi lagi." (I feel nice to know, that you liked this place.)
We pull away and she gives me a wide smile. Which I return.
I look at her, who blushes and looks around, her head bending to a side as if hearing a sound, a second later I hear it too, sound of an animal. We froze.
Suddenly a rabbit came into the clearing, where we were.
My breath released; I am relieved. The rabbit started to crawl towards us. It's kids with them and his eyes fixed on both of us, and the kids followed.
I was about to move but she hissed and shook her head. The rabbit and his kids stated to circle her, lovingly nuzzling her legs. She turned to me, with a surprised look. I gave her an equal surprised look.
She bends down and rubs her hand on his head, cooing, the rabbit sighed. She smiled slightly and continued to rub them more enthusiastically. The rabbits also nuzzled under her touch.
"Aiye" (Come) she says.
"aapko lagta woh achchi baat hogi?" (Do you think it will be nice?) I question.
"Aapko hum par vishwas hai?" (Do you believe on me?) she asks.
"Awashya" (Sure) I say instantly.
"Toh fir aaiye." (Then come.) She says and I follow her.
Sitting down beside her, I also run a hand on their hand. It purred, grunting enthusiastically. I was enjoying this.
We enjoy petting and rubbing them for a few minutes, before they abruptly rise and runs towards the direction they came from.
"Yeh ajib tha." (This was strange.) I comment.
"Bilkul sahi kaha aapne." (You are absolutely right.) She agrees, looking in the direction they went.
