Third POV

Ananya mumble's a soft "Kshama" (Sorry), before taking a step ahead and is suddenly pulled back by a sharp force of pull. There is a hard ache in her head, in her hair roots. She involuntarily, cries out.

Karn watched her as she took a step ahead but was pulled back, due to hair, being yanked back. She lets out a cry and jerks back to Karn, who grabs her before she can fall.

Ananya jerks back and Karn grabs her. She is thankful to him but doesn't voice it now. She just takes her hand to the back of her head, where the hair roots are aching. She is ignoring the hot breaths on the nape of her neck. It feels like she is in a shooting for a movie, the only thing missing is a camera.

Karna watches her, controlling his breathing, he is so close to her. She raises her delicate hand to her hair roots at the side, was it paining? But why?
Looking down he realizes that her hair is stuck in his necklace. He is not sure what to do, help her? Let her untangle it?

Ananya suddenly feels a warm, soft hands on hers. It must be of Karn. The hand of Karn, removes her from where it's holding the hair and lets it fall to the side. Ananya waits as he touches her hair, gently, it's as if he knows its paining.

Karn makes a decision and slowly places his hands on her. It's so firm yet exquisite, it's like one made for a doll, a very well- crafted doll. He grasps her hand in a lose holding and drops it to a side before tenderly starting to untie her hair.

Ananya feels gentle tugs and pulls of her hair as Karn unties her from where ever that blasted thing is stuck. She feels shy at the occurring, but at the same time admired Karn's gentleman -ness. (A/N is that a word?)

Karn tries to be as gentle as he can be and unravels the hair from his necklace, her hair was velvety, it was like silk. The hair falls open and Karn's mouth does to, once he looks at its length and thickness.

Ananya feels the necklace slowly untangling from her hair. His hands running through her hair, even though not intentionally he is just trying to untie the hair, it feels heavenly to have his hands in her hair. She closes her eyes to the feel of his hands in her hair. And suddenly her hair falls open.

Karn had never before paid much attention to a girl's hair, they were covered, but excuses apart he knew that no girl he had met before had hair like her. So long, it reached below her upper thighs and was thick, very thick. The long hair of hers was curvy and black in color. In plain and simple words, stunning.

Ananya slowly turns around, with her hand on some part of her hair. Shyly she looks up at Karn. The guy was looking at her, his eyes observing her movements. He smiles at her.

Karn looked at her as she turned around and looked at him shyly, her cheeks when observed by his warrior eyes, were red. He smiled at her slightly, getting one in return.

"Dhanyavad." (Thank you) She whispers. He nods in return.

She starts to slowly, comb her hair, through her hands. And then moves ahead starting to tie it in a bun. A hand stops her.

Karn didn't why he did it he just did it, he puts a hand on hers. When she turns around, looking at him curiously.

He softly asks, "Aap apna bal hamesha Kyun bandh deti Hain usse? Khule baal ache lagtein hai aapke." (Why do you always tie your hair? Your open hair looks much better.)

She smiles at him, blushing ever so slightly at the compliment. She walks to her vanity table, and looking in the eyes of Karn through the mirror she ties her hair in a ponytail, leaving few strands of hair out.

He smiles at her widely, as he observes her following his request. She started right at him and tied her hair with something, leaving few strands out. She is so shy once and confident the next second, Karn muses. And she looked so pretty.

"Putri, Putra." (Son, Daughter.) Rani Kunti calls as she walks into the room. The two people in the room turn to her as she walks to them. Ananya steps ahead towards the mother- son duo.

"Yeh lo aarti lo." (Here, take the aarti.) Rani Kunti orders. They do as told.
When she keeps the plate aside, the two young adults bend ahead in synchronization, to take her blessing.

"Ayushman bhava." (Live Long.) Rani Kunti blesses them, placing a hand on each their head, and smiling down at them. They work in such synchronization. Won't they look cute together?

"Bua, ab khane chalene, Mujhe bhukh lagi hai." (Aunt, can we go to eat now? I am hungry.) Ananya whines, trying to ignore the close proximity of Karn. Wasn't very easy.

"Haan ma, Mujhe bhi bhukh lagi hai." (Yes, mom. Even I am hungry.) Karn agrees.
Very much aware of the closeness of Ananya, too. His heart was literally screaming at his brain for the adjacency of him and Ananya.

None of them made a move to move away, even though being highly aware.

"Chalo aaj main khana bana kar tum dono ko khilaon." (Come, today I will make food and feed both of you.) Rani Kunti says excitedly.
Grabbing their hand, Rani Kunti walks to the kitchen.

"Kya khaoge tum dono?" (What will both of you have?) she questions.

"Jo khilao." (Whatever you feed us.) Both of them answer together.
They look at each other and then look away, as fast.

"Aaj Kya ban raha hai, Dasi?" (What is being cooked today, maid?) Rani Kunti asks.

"Aaj Kheer Puri ban rahi hai, Rani Ji." (Kheer Puri is being made, Queen.) The Dasi bows slightly before replying.

"Hmm, Lao Puri aaj main banaungi in dono ke liye." (Hmm, I will make the Puri's today for these two.) Rani Kunti says, motioning the other Dasi Cook to move away.

She takes the Dasi's place and stars to roll the Puri's. The extra Dasi's are standing in a corner.

"Kheer ban gayi?" (Is the Kheer cooked?) Rani Kunti asks.

"Bas chini dalna baaki hai, Rani ji." (Only sugar is left to add.) The Dasi answers.

"Theek hai, tum logo ja sakte ho." (Fine. You guys can leave.) Rani Kunti dismisses the Maids, who give a short bow, before walking out of the kitchen.

"Bua, main madd karun?" (Aunt, can I help?) Ananya asks, Rani Kunti.

"Kar paogi?" (Will you be able to do it?) Karn raises an eyebrow.

"Hum Khanna banana behad behtarin tarike se jaante hai, Kaunteya." (I know how to cook in a very extravagant way, Kaunteya.) Ananya says, as she ties her dupatta on the back side and walks to her Bua.
