Third POV

"Aap sab itane tanav mein kyon Hain?" (Why are all of you so tense?) Ananya asks, a small smile playing on her lips.

All of the boys remain speechless looking at each other.

"Jaisi aap ki margi. Maat kijiye baat" (However you wish. Don't talk) Ananya says before looking around the bed for something. The guys, silently watch her as she pats her hand all around her, on the bed, looking for something.

"Kahan gaya?" (Where did it go?) she mumbles to herself, her eyebrow's furring.

Swiftly, her head snaps to the pile of books and she practically jumps on them.

What is she searching for? Was the only question in the mind of the other people present in the room.

She opens one of her books and takes out the thing she was showing Krishna, this morning. She breaths deeply in relief.

Why is that thing so important? Her audience wonders.

She falls back into the bed, sitting with her back against the head board of her bed. Her eyes trained on that piece of thing.

"Woh kya hai, devi?" (What is that, devi?) Prince Sehdev asks, eyeing the thing in Ananya's hand.

"Kon Devi? Kiski Devi? Kaisi Devi? Kahan ki Devi?" (Who Devi? Whose Devi? What Devi? Where's Devi?) Ananya raises an eyebrow. The boys look perplexed.
"Mujhe Ananya, bulaiye Rajkumar." (Call me Ananya, Raj Kumar)

"Jaisi aapki ichcha." (However, you wish.) Prince Sehdev nods in understanding.

"Aur, isse Phone, kehetein hai." (And, we call this Phone.) Ananya answers smiling faintly.

"Phone?" Ashwatthama tried to pronounce it.

"Ji Haan." (Yes.)

"Kya karta hai yeh?" (What does it do?) Ashwatthama asks.

"Is ke pryog se aap, kabhi bhi, kisi se bhi baat kar saktein Hain." (Using this you can, talk to anyone, anytime.) Ananya says. "Chahe woh kahin bhi ho, paraspar unke pas yeh phone hai." (Regardless of where they are, just they should have a phone.)

"Wah!" (Wow!) all of them exclaim together.

"Aur kya kar sakta hai?" (What else can it do?)

"Umm, aapne apni chitr banwaiyi hai?" (Umm, have you guys ever got your photo made?) She asked. She got some nods and yes in answer.

"kitna samay laga tha?" (How much time did it take?)

"Karib 2- 3 ghante." (Nearly 2-3 hours.) Prince Nakul says,
"par aap Kyun punch rahin hai?" (But why are you asking?)

"Kyunki main aapko aap sabhi ka chitr 2- minute mein de sakti hun." (Because I can give you one in 2 minutes.)

"Kaise?" (How?)

"Meri taraf dekh kar muskuraiye." (Look at me and smile.)

The guys look confused but obliged her. She raised her phone and took a snap. Turning the phone around she showed it to them.
They were in awe with it.

"kitna achcha hai." (This is so good.) Yudhishthira says and everybody else agrees. She smiles at them.

"Idhar aao." (Come here.) She calls for them, towards the full- length dressing mirror of her room. The guys were skeptical but followed her.

She made them stand in front of the mirror, according to their height before standing in middle herself.

"Sheshae mein dekhiye aur muskura dijiye." (See in the mirror and smile.) She orders them, smiling herself.
Confused as to what she was up to, they followed her order. She took a photo, with her phone facing the camera. Capturing their smiling faces.

She shows them the photo. They smile in return; they all may not have mentioned but quite liked it.

"Yeh kaise Hua lekin?" (How did it happen, but?) Karn asked.

"Yeh jo bhi hummare samane hota hai, uska chitr le leta hai. Hummare samane shesha tha, jisme hum dikh rahein the. Wahi chitr le rakha hai." (This takes the photo of whatever is present in front of us. In front of s was the mirror, in which we were visible. That is what is visible in our photo.) Ananya explains.

"Hmm, aur yeh phone humari, chitr kaise leta hai?" (Hmm, and how does the phone take our photo?) Karn queries again.

"Kya aap log jantein hai, hum sabhi ki ankhein kaise kam karti hai?" (Do you guys know how our eyes work?) Ananya asks.

"Nahi." (Nope) Arjun answers looking confused as to why Ananya was asking about their eyes.

"Hmm, toh thoda samay lage ga. Aiye bethiye." (Hmm, this will some time. Come sit.) Ananya instructs, to sit on the bed.

All of them formed a circle and sat on the big bed. Ananya took a notebook and a pencil from her side table and placed in the middle of the group.
The boys look at her curiously.

"Yeh kya hai?" (What is this?) Nakul asks.

"Kitab kehtein hai. Pannon ko saath sill Diya hai." (We call it a book. Pages have been tied/ stitched together.) Ananya responds, without looking up.

She opens it to a blank page. Settling down comfortably, before starting her drawing. She wasn't very proud of her drawing skills, but that had to do.
She drew a diagram of eye, as big as she could draw. She was completely busy in her work and didn't look at her spectators.

Karn looked in admiration as she drew, something. What again he was unaware but he like the concentration and effort she was giving to it. The way her eyebrow frowned, the way she bit her lip, while drawing small details were fascinating.

Everybody else was watching, the way her hand easily flowed over the paper, easily carving what she wanted on the paper. She way she captured every minute detail, or what they thought was minute detail, was fascinating.

"Hogaya" (Done.) she took a deep breathe. Every one of them looked at the drawing in appreciation.

"Yeh hamare ankh ke andar ka hissa hai." (This is the inner part of our eye.) She points at the bigger bulge.
"Aur yeh, jo bahar dikhta hai." (And this, is the outside portion.) Points at the smaller bulge.

"Aapko kaise pata?" (How do you know?) Duryodhana asks.

"Hummare Kaliyuga mein, pata laga liya hai vediyon ne." (Doctors found out in our age.) Duryodhana nods in understanding.

"yahaan se prakash hamari aankhon mein pravesh karti hai. Aaise andar jati hai, aur yahan par padti hai. Jisse hamari ankh ke andar, yahan par jo hum dekh rahein hai uska ek chitr banta hai." (From here, light enter our eyes. It takes this path and falls here. Due to this, a photo is formed in our eye.) She explains, the working of eye.

"Samajh aaraha hai?" (Are you able to understand?) She asks. When everyone nods, she continues.

"Yahan se hammare dimag ko Sandesh jata hai, jo usse vyakhya karta hai aur hamein samajh mein aata hai ki hum aapne samane kya dekh rahein hai." (From here message is transported to the brain, which interprets it and we are able to understand what we are seeing in front of us.)

They looked at the diagram for some time before nodding, they understood.

"Par" (But)

Thanks for Reading

Do Vote and Comment.

I got a comment from @Mahiisforever and I quite liked her idea and an idea came to me, related with her idea. Not her idea exactly but similar.

Yudhishthira and Draupadi fans, don't fret. You are going to like this idea.
Draupadi will neither marry Arjun nor the rest of the three Pandeva's.
