Q1: What was your first reaction of the server when you first arrived?

- I arrived just over a year ago.  I was anxious, it was my very first venture into discord land.  In fact, we weren't even on Discord. That came a few months after I joined the community.  I figured it out as we built it into what we have now.   A steep learning curve but sooooo worth it.

Q2: What do you think of think Admin means to you in the terms of the server?

-   Admin for me, is taking care of the members of the community.  Making sure they know someone cares about all the things that are tough to deal with.  It means putting together writing exercises, it means doing writing sprints. It means giving out bear hugs to our family here.

Q3: What was your reaction to winning Admin of the Month?

- Winning Admin of the month is an honour, and it is a duty as well.  I know I'm doing things that matter to the community, but I also understand I've received a lot of trust to go with it.  I'll always try my best not to betray that trust.  It humbles me to think people approve of the way I do my job.

Q4: How do you as an Admin make the server more welcoming and exciting?

-   I always let people know I'm thinking of them by asking how they are, and expecting an honest answer.  If you're not fine, let's talk.  I'm always there for you.  I also try to bring activities to the writing contest, which will be back in swing again starting January 25th.   I run an annual Poetry contest from the server in conjunction with the Coalition Community on both Inkitt and Wattpad.   At the same time I'm part of the team that runs the Coalition Book Club.  It keeps me busy when I'm blocked on the writing front.

Q5: Is there anyone you would like to thank for the award?
- I want to thank the entire community on this server.  Everyone works together here to support each other and encourage each other.  I'm so proud of what we have.   I think the authors on the two platforms we support are some of the most talented writers out there.  So let's be thankful for what each unique person brings to the community and encourage the diversity we have.  We're a very special bunch.
