Ecuador: half of the world
Let's learn a little about its geography: Without much preamble, it is located in South America, in the middle of the world, also called the imaginary line. It is the maximum circle perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the planet Earth, they call it "the equatorial line" or "parallel 0° "and, like any great circle, defines a plane that passes through the center. Galápagos: The Galápagos Islands are the result of volcanic eruptions in the ocean. There are a variety of islands and each one is assimilated to cities.

The Sierra: It is characterized by its impressive mountainous elevations, volcanoes, and snow-capped mountains. Among the most important, are Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. Its 10 provinces have cities of great historical importance such as Quito, Cuenca and Loja, and artisan centers such as Otavalo.
The inhabitants of this place are already accustomed to the voracious cold, its temperature varies from 13.7 °C. The average maximum temperatures oscillate between 20.3 °C in August and September, which are the warmest months. Their clothing is varied, but all serve the same function: protection from the cold.

Amazonia: Its climate is humid and represents 48% of the national territory. It is where the beliefs of mother earth and our Shuar language are preserved. A place quite populated with vegetation. Approximately 5% of the Ecuadorian population lives there, some 740 thousand inhabitants.
The main economic activity in the Ecuadorian Amazon is the extraction of oil, gold, and copper, a cause of constant social conflicts and environmental damage.

In total, Ecuador is made up of 24 provinces with their respective capitals.
Ten provinces in the mountains (mainly high-altitude provinces, their territories are in the Andes mountain range), these are Carchi, Imbabura, Pichincha, Cotopaxi, Tungurahua, Bolívar, Chimborazo, Cañar, Azuay, and Loja.
Seven on the coast (provinces that are on the coast of the country, in the sub-tropical and tropical zone), are: Esmeraldas, Santo Domingo de los Sachilas, Manabí, Los Ríos, Guayas, Santa Elena and El Oro.
Six in the east (provinces in the Amazon area of the country), are: Orellana, Sucumbíos, Napo, Paztaza, Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe.
One in the Insular (corresponds to the insular territory of Ecuador), being: Galápagos.
