I don't know this show that well, I watched it a bit with my mom (she loves British shows), but I watched a few episodes myself and I like this show 😊 but if Jay seems ooc I'm sorry about that >\\\< also I'm so sorry it took so long I've been super busy and I changed it up just a bit I hope you don't mind

Jay Cartwright was normally an average horny teen with nothing but girls and sex on his mind but that changed when he met a certain girl named Y/n L/n. Now, don't get me wrong, he still thinks of the sexy times but not as often and he only thinks about her. You can day he's grown a very big crush on her, you could even call it love. Everyone, including Simon, Will and Neil, can see it but her. Classic cliche right?

But that's about to change.

See poor Jay has gone and gotten himself sick and he's called Y/n to come help take care of him because, as he out it, "It's your fault for making me run in the rain." So she is now in his kitchen heating up some soup while his parents are out.

"Alrighty, Jay, here's your soup. Eat up." She said as she sat down next to him on his couch with the warm soup.

He crinkled his nose in slight distaste. "I don't feel like it."

"It will make you feel better." She said in a sing song tone. He shook his head and she sighed a bit. "Okay. How about you eat half of it and then I'll let you rest your head on my lap while we watch telly." He looked away pretending to think about while actually trying to hide a blush and being thankful that he has a fever to help hide it.

"Fine." He relented and grabbed the bowl. He ended up eating all of it, being more hungry than he thought he was, and she happily let him rest his head on her legs. She handed him tissues for his runny nose and gently carded her fingers through his hair to help relax him. Half way through some program that he wasn't paying attention to he looked up at her and admired her.

She finally noticed and looked down at him. "Why are you staring at me?" She asked.

"You're very pretty. Did you know that?" He had liked her for so long and was a bit delirious from fever which is why he wasn't being so discreet about it.

"What? Where is this coming from?" It made her a bit happy to hear him say that but she knew it was probably his sickness saying this and not him.

"I'm not the only one who thinks so, you know." He continued like she hadn't spoken. "A lot of guys at school think so too. You're so pretty. I'm a bit scared that one them will catch your attention before I have a chance to..." He trailed off a bit getting list in her eyes.

"Before you have a chance to what?"

"To take you on a date and hold your hand. To see you smile because of something I said. To tell you I love you."

"Jay." She didn't really know what to say to all of this. She's liked him too for a long time but never really thought he saw her like that.

He sat up and moved closer to her. "When I get better can I take you out? Not as friends. Not with our friends either. Just us two."

She smiled. "I'd love that."

He smiled too and then looked down at her lips. They both moved into each other until he suddenly sneezed causing her to jump back a bit. "I'm so sorry." He apologized and blew his nose in a tissue.

She laughed a bit and patted his shoulder, moving back down to rest again. "It's okay, Jay. Let's try that again when you're not sick."

He nodded tiredly. "Okay. I love you." He yawned in the middle of his sentence.

She laughed again as he closed his eyes. "I love you too you big dope." She wondered if he would remember any of this once he got better. If he didn't, well it looks like she'll have a lot of fun teasing him for it.
