"So, what's our guess as to who's lying?" Mindy asks the group, trying to process what she had just read in the last few minutes.

"Well, we only know two people, which are Calliope and Mortimer," Tara points out, emphasizing that they had just met the two about an hour ago.

"But it could still be one of us. We can't just trust each other because we're friends and a big old family. Scratch that. Nobody can be trusted, no matter what we think about each other," Mindy explains to the group, trying to use her horror/thriller/mystery knowledge to find out who the liar is in the group.

"Well, Quinn, how are you feeling coming back from the challenge?" Sam asks, trying to change the subject real quick.

"I kind of agree with Mindy. Well, I can't trust everybody. Somebody had voted me in," Quinn says, crossing her arms.

"But do you think it was rightfully so?" Amber asks, which makes everybody go silent as Quinn mumbles "What."

As Amber and Quinn have a tense stare-down, Calliope walks over to the map, clearly noticing something new. She takes the map off the wall and places it on the table in the middle of the group.

"This is new," Anika points out, gesturing to a place called "Fat Man Slims." There's a hint beside it saying, "Beware of snakes. The Serpent's Eyes lie in wait."

While analyzing the map, the group all hears some movement from far away. When they look up, they see a small lady peeping at their conversation. This makes the group wear a confused look on their faces as they stand up, and the woman quickly runs away. Without hesitation, the group decides to chase after her.

As she ran out of the hideout and out of the arcade, Chad was right behind her so he tackled her to the ground before he managed to grab her from behind, stopping her from running away. The rest of the group quickly catches up, and they all lead the lady back into the arcade. Calliope hands them a rope randomly, and Sam and Wes use it to tie her to a chair securely.

"Listen here, track star, what were you doing spying on us?" Amber demands, her voice firm and assertive.

"I'm looking for the same thing you're looking for," the lady tries to defend herself, her voice quivering slightly as Sam tightens the rope around her.

"What are you talking about?" Ethan asks, his curiosity piqued by the lady's cryptic response.

"The Serpent's Eyes!" The lady begs, desperation evident in her voice. Tara reaches out to touch the lady's neck, noticing something before quickly pulling back. "She was bitten by the serpent," Tara points out, and the others turn their attention to the lady's neck, seeing the bite mark just as Tara described.

"That snakey bitch bit me! She stole my husband," the lady cries out in anger and sadness, her emotions mixed and raw. 

"She's snakey, literally and figuratively too, damn. I could never," Quinn says, flipping her head to the side.

"Well...you sure about that..." Ethan jokes, teasing Quinn playfully. Quinn responds with a "Shut the fuck up" look, but Ethan just smiles and chuckles at his own response, enjoying the moment.

"Do you know anything about the artifact?" Sam asks, backing up towards the group, his eyes fixed on the lady for any sign of a response. The others stand close, waiting eagerly for any information that could shed light on the mysterious artifact they're all searching for.

"I don't know, look for suits in the lounge," the lady says, leaving the group puzzled as they try to make sense of her cryptic statement. The idea of needing suits for a mission involving a snake woman doesn't immediately click, and they exchange perplexed glances, trying to decipher the meaning behind her words.

"Why don't you guys go on. I'll stay and watch her," Calliope offers, and the rest of the group nods in agreement to trust Calliope's word for now.

"Don't try anything, she can beat you up easily," Ethan warns the lady before he and the rest of the group head back to the lounge, determined to find something that matches the hint the lady gave or possibly find the Serpent's Eyes.

As they split up and scoured the lounge for clues, each member of the group stumbled upon peculiar items. Sam discovered a deck of cards, Mindy found a dice tray, and Quinn came across a bottle of perfume. They gathered in the middle of the room, displaying the items to each other, trying to figure out how these seemingly random objects could be related to their quest.

As they examined the deck of cards more closely, they noticed faint lines on the back of the cards, almost imperceptible at first glance. Intrigued, they laid the cards on the table, spreading them out so each person could have a few cards to analyze.

"I think these lines might form a pattern," Wes suggested, his eyes scanning the cards carefully.

As they rearranged the cards, the lines started to connect like what Wes had said, forming a hidden design. Gradually, the pattern began to emerge, revealing what appeared to be a symbol of the number 8.

"Maybe we have to find an 8 club or something?" Quinn suggests, trying to contribute to the group's effort in deciphering the next step of their quest. The group considers her idea, thinking that the mention of an "8 club" might hold some relevance to the cards they found.

So, they got up and started to look for something that was related to the number 8. While looking around, Ethan found 2 dice. As he saw the two dice, he picked them up before accidentally dropping them onto the table. Surprisingly, they were somehow magnetically attracted to the dice tray that Mindy had found earlier. This made Ethan gasp as if his jaw was going to hit the ground.

Amber asks, 'What about the perfume?' before Chad points out a random whiteboard with a diamond sign on it. Sam takes the perfume and sprays it on the whiteboard, revealing a map of a room with an X mark somewhere in the middle. This discovery prompts the rest of the group to split off and search for the secret X location.

They threw and moved everything in the room in their desperate search for the X, but they were struggling to find it. Sighing and groaning, they grew tired from the relentless effort of searching.

Amber shouts in excitement as she discovers the secret door, which leads to the X-marked location. The door is cleverly disguised as a clock with card symbols on each hand. The group realizes that they need to match each object they have with the corresponding symbol on the clock. As they try different combinations, they finally manage to get the clock to work properly. However, Wes notices that the Statue of Liberty, one of their possessions, is missing a hand. To their surprise, Chad had earlier found the missing handpiece. This discovery piques Wes's curiosity, and he and Chad quickly move to the Statue of Liberty, placing the missing handpiece back on the statue.

As they placed the missing handpiece on the Statue of Liberty, they noticed a spade symbol on the hand. Intrigued, they examined it closely and saw that the hole or ring the statue was holding was connected to another hole. Curious about the connection, each member of the group took turns looking through the hole. During their attempts, one of them spotted a poster with the number 5 sticking out from the hole. Excited about the discovery, they decided to the number 5  on the poster and guess it on the clock, which somehow fitted into the corresponding spot. To their amazement, this action caused the clock to pop open, revealing a hidden compartment or passage behind it.

As the clock pops open, they are startled to see the serpent's eyes and a note inside. Acting swiftly, they grab both the note and the eyes. Anika takes hold of the note once again and reads its contents aloud: "This is the second of the wicked artifacts. To cleanse the serpent's eyes, you must find the head of a great snake, place the eye inside, and bathe it in the blood of a serpent's heart." The group is both intrigued and concerned by the mysterious instructions. However, their attention is abruptly diverted when they hear a scream coming from another room where Calliope and a tied-up lady are. Worried about what might be happening, they quickly exchange glances and rush toward the room.

Startled and alarmed by the gruesome scene, the group rushes into the room to find the snake woman biting the tied-up lady in the chair. Calliope, who had been knocked out by the snake woman, lies unconscious nearby.

"Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" Chad jumps back while exclaiming, witnessing the action as the snake woman hisses at them before slithering away. They see that the lady who was tied up to the chair has died.

"She's dead," Ethan states, stating the obvious once again.

"Well, duh, Dingus! Maybe she hid another clue or hint for us without even knowing. In short, it means we should check her body, everybody," Mindy says, rolling her eyes at the brown curly-haired boy.

"Well, isn't this wrong? Don't they only do that in the movies?" Ethan says as the others try to search for clues around her body while he just stands there.

While searching, Quinn finds a match in her pockets that says, "Meet me at 7:30, Cindy," indicating a possible meeting place at Fat Man Slims. They all decide to walk there, unaware that the snake woman is lurking around the corner, waiting for them.

The snake woman swiftly runs towards the group, getting dangerously close to Amber. In a panic, Amber pushes Wes from behind to get him out of harm's way, but unfortunately, the snake woman manages to grab Wes and bite him. He screams out in excruciating pain.

"Guys, I think Wes got bit!" Anika yells to the others as they all manage to run away from the snake woman just in time to avoid being bitten. They all rush over to Wes, and Calliope does the same to check on him, preparing to deliver some unfortunate news. Upon examining him, Calliope sighs and says, "It's bad, The snake's venom is poisonous. You've been poisoned. And in twenty minutes it's gonna eat your organs. The others have to create an antidote to save you."

"I know there's a drug store over there. We can maybe split up," Mortimer suggests, pointing to the drugstore. The group agrees to the plan, deciding to divide it into two teams. Mindy, Ethan, and Anika head to the drug store, while Sam, Quinn, Chad, Tara, and Amber go to Fat Man Slims.
"We have to be quick," Mortimer urges, following the three to the drugstore. Meanwhile, Calliope helps Wes to the couch, telling him that they only have 20 minutes for the others to find the antidote or else...

He dies.
