The group was now at Fat Man Slim's, taking a break and discussing what had been happening. However, it seemed like Amber was the only one arguing, disagreeing, and hating on things.

"I'm over this! All my friends are dying. That twink was actually a good player. Now he's dead because of Sam. Thank you so much," Amber said, clearly upset, while sitting across from Mortimer. Tara was sitting behind her in the next booth.

"If anyone's to blame, blame Chad! Chad's the one who-" Sam was cut off by Chad, who looked confused about why he was being blamed.

"You went up against him!" Sam exclaimed, feeling the weight of Amber's words starting to affect the group, causing them to blame each other and stir up unnecessary drama.

"We were the only two options, and I knew I was the strongest motherfucker here!" Chad spat back, trying to defend himself and not get blamed for killing his closest friend. (Author's Note: He totally meant boyfriend).

"Nobody misses him more than I do. I miss him so much," Quinn said as Chad pulled her into a side hug, feeling bad that she still had to witness her brother's death in front of her.

"Listen up, guys! I've come to the conclusion that we're all gonna die anyway, so we might as well enjoy our last moments," Amber said, getting up to sit at the table and deliver her goodbye speech. She raised her root beer, which they were all drinking, in the air, and Mindy playfully raised her beer, going along with Amber's farewell speech. (Author's Note: Mindy doesn't give a fuck about Amber at all she just rather have fun than you know think about death.

Amber then ignored the rest of the group and started randomly talking to Mortimer. Sam noticed that she had been distant from Tara ever since this whole thing started, and it seemed a little off to her.

"I don't want to be around Sam, 'cause I'm positive she's lying. So I'm into trying something new. Why don't you and I just leave together?" Amber suggested to Mortimer, unaware that Tara noticed and a tear fell down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away, hoping nobody would notice her emotions.

Sam noticed the tear that Tara quickly wiped away and took note of it. She gave her sister a comforting look and a pat on the shoulder, trying to show support and let Tara know that she was there for her. However, Tara didn't react to any of Sam's movements or motions and just looked back at her sister with a distant expression.

After pulling her hand away, Sam declared, "We need to find that coin. And I'm going to make it my mission to find it." She shifted her gaze away from Tara and looked at the rest of the group, determined to take on the challenge and find the coin they were seeking.

"I would honestly love to do that," Mortimer said, reaching out to touch Amber's hair, while Tara tried to keep her gaze on the rest of the group, attempting to focus on the situation at hand, despite the growing tension between Amber and Mortimer.

"Let's go upstairs, they're gonna die anyway!" Amber whispered loudly to him, her frustration and impatience evident in her tone.

"I mean, we're gonna die anyway," Mortimer whispered back, feeling the need to defend himself and express his frustration with Amber's behavior. He then made Sam turn towards the two, tired of whatever Amber's problem was and why she was trying to flirt with Mortimer in front of Tara.

"Amber, what are you doing?" Sam called out, addressing the awkward situation and confronting Amber about her actions.

"Let her live her own goddamn fantasy. Since she won't have any left for being a whiny bitch!" Quinn exclaimed, expressing her frustration with Amber's behavior like Sam's.

"All right, Amber, enough is enough. Get over here. We have work to do," Sam said firmly, trying to refocus the group on their mission. Calliope brought the map, ready to proceed with the task at hand, while Amber looked at the group with a mixture of frustration and disbelief, as if questioning their seriousness.

"There will be blood on all of your hands. The price of being a hero in this town of horrors," Mindy read the hint aloud, her voice carrying a sense of foreboding. She pointed out the new location on the map, which was called the "Dollmaker's Shoppe."

"Holy shit! Looks like we got dolls in our heads. Maybe some Chucky, Annabelle, The Boy, The Puppet Master," Mindy excitedly listed some doll-themed horror movies, drawing parallels to the eerie and potentially dangerous situation they were about to face. The references only added to the sense of dread and anticipation among the group.

"Of course," Chad sarcastically remarked to his sister's horror movie knowledge.

"Quinn, maybe you can find your twin, Chucky, in there," Amber teased, attempting to lighten the mood with a playful jab at Quinn. However, Quinn simply rolled her eyes in response, not taking the bait or letting Amber's comment get to her.

"The doll maker's children have changed. They want to spin in circles but keep fighting over which horses to ride. Maybe you can help?" Sam read another hint.

"Okay, so clearly we have to handle the dolls, but what about the horses?" Quinn questioned, raising a valid point.

"Well, maybe since it's something about horses, let's go to the merry-go-round," Tara suggests, and everybody follows her outside to the merry-go-round.

When they go outside, they see a box and a big button. Quinn volunteers to press the button, and as she does, the merry-go-round starts spinning for a few seconds, which makes the box open.

Mindy reads the note aloud while holding a small head that was found in the box. The note says, "The night killer's doll is split in two: the body and the head. To begin cleansing the doll, you must find the body and reconnect the head. But be careful! The doll maker's children were corrupted by the artifact."

As they all walked towards the doll maker's place to look for the body, they noticed a trail of little doll feet. The feet led them on a path, and as they followed it, they came across more and more doll feet, forming a peculiar trail. When they reached the end of the trail, they were surprised to find the key attached to one of the doll's feet. Curiously, there was a lock on a random door nearby, hinting at the connection between the key and the door.

They open the door with the key from the doll, and they slowly go inside to see that they have entered a warehouse that looks like a torture chamber for dolls. "What the actual fuck? This is some horror movie shit, like nightmare horror movie shit," Tara says as they look around.

While looking around, they find the body part they have been searching for inside a glass case, along with a note. Additionally, Quinn comes across a journal that contains some written words. The journal entry reads, "I didn't know what the carnival master had given me. It's no ordinary doll. I discovered it's made from the skin of a serial killer, known as the night killer. I couldn't fathom the things he did to people. I locked the case with each act. Only a sick and twisted mind will be able to open it, and they'll deserve what they find." The group's faces contort with disgust as they grapple with the horrifying revelation.

"Wait, Sam, did you write this for yourself?" Amber says with a sarcastic smile, but Sam chooses to ignore the remark and responds with a sarcastic laugh. The exchange between them leads to a brief moment of tension as they give each other a dirty look.

"There are some clues in front of every doll, and we probably have to torture some dolls, maybe all of these dolls," Mindy says, which elicits a collective groan of disgust and annoyance from the group.

"The bad ones he sent to the bottom of the lake," Chad reads out loud, and as the group absorbs the chilling information, they come to the realization that they must drown the first doll. They figure out how to carry out this grim task and, reluctantly, they proceed to drown the doll. Miraculously, the first lock breaks, indicating that they have successfully completed the first step of the puzzle.

Despite the discomfort and unease, they understand that they have no choice but to continue torturing the rest of the dolls.

"This one is tongue-tied. Getting her to talk may be a stretch," Amber reads and realizes. She had to rip the doll's tongue apart, and she was struggling with it. Chad had to pull it out for her, which made another lock break.

"Sawing right down the middle is the key. No touching the doll, but you may still have to get your hands dirty," Mindy reads, figuring out that they need a saw to open the doll. However, they didn't see one around the room.

But Sam finds a random jar with some dark goo inside, and there is a note on the jar that says, "Reach inside if you dare." After she finishes reading it, she volunteers to reach inside the jar. So, she takes off her jacket, opens the jar, and reaches inside. She almost gags at the texture of the stuff but pushes through and luckily finds the key.

When she gets the key, she opens a red toolbox by the doll, revealing a saw. Mindy takes the saw and starts sawing the doll, looking away from it while Chad and Quinn hold down the chains the doll was hanging from to help maintain balance. When she successfully does it she opens the last lock.

So they go over to the glass case, open it, and retrieve the body of the doll. They find a note by the body that reads, "The night killer murdered over a hundred people before he was carved up and turned into a doll. His evil acts live on in this child's toy, granting it the power to bring the inanimate to life. After reconnecting the head, place the doll in the base of the maiden of madness to complete the cleansing. Rumor has it the doll maker locked the maiden away inside his shop."

After they finish reading the note and put the head and body of the doll together, another box opens, causing them to gasp in surprise. They quickly rush to the newly opened box and find another note inside that says, "Be careful of the twins." This makes them feel confused and uneasy, but they grab the key and decide to leave the room.

As they walk out, they encounter some twins, and Sam tries to approach them. However, to their shock, the twins suddenly run towards the group at full speed, brandishing knives. This frightening sight prompts the group to panic and run around, desperately searching for a place to hide from the threatening twins.

Sam quickly realizes that the key they had was meant to open another location. She runs towards the doll maker's shop, the designated place the key was meant for, and unlocks the door. The rest of the group follows her, entering the shop one by one. Tara is the last person to make it inside, with a sense of urgency as the others anxiously await her arrival before they can proceed further.
