𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 (𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩 3/4 𝙤𝙛 4)
(Author's Note: Guess who's back, back again! Also, they've already saved Sam. They completed all the other tasks, but I want to get to the end without keeping you guys waiting. I didn't include those parts here because I'm feeling lazy, so yeah! LAST CHAPTER, BABY!)
"The faces of your deceased friends have a message on their backs that will turn the tide in your fight against them," they read the note aloud inside Fat Man Slim's.
"What does that even mean?" Quinn questions, and they all exchange puzzled glances, trying to decipher the cryptic message about their deceased friends and the message on their backs.
"Maybe the faces mean cards, the voting cards!" Chad suggests, and this revelation dawns upon the two girls, making them realize that he's likely correct.
"You may be right, Chad, but how exactly are we going to run past these fast zombies?" Quinn questions, voicing the concern they all share as they each hold a life stone.
"Maybe a decoy," Chad suggests, but it's evident that they don't particularly like the plan.
"I think we have to run, guys. We can't afford to waste any more time," Sam insists. Although the other two don't like the idea, they realize she's right. Time is running out, so they reluctantly agree to it, even though they consider it a potentially bad idea, perhaps even worse than Chad's.
"Fine, but this better work, Sam," Quinn says with a sigh. All three of them turn to face the door, preparing for the risky plan.
"Okay, GO!" Sam yells, and they swiftly open the doors, making a run for the lounge. Chad nearly gets caught by one of the zombies, but Sam and Quinn pull them out of harm's way just in time. They enter the arcade, hastily closing and barricading the door before rushing to the voting box.
They spot a shape on the voting box and place one of the life stones on it since it matches the shape. As they do so, it triggers the box to pop open, revealing the voting cards inside. They quickly grab the cards and notice some writing on the back. Rushing to the table, they attempt to arrange the cards in order and piece together the message written on the backs of the cards.
As they put the voting cards together, the message becomes clear: "With the power of the life stones, place the life stones around the harp, and strum it twice. The Lazarus harp can be used to summon fallen champions." They immediately retrieve the harp and the life stones, arranging the stones around the harp on the table. With a sense of anticipation, they strum the harp twice, and the room erupts with fog and a whole bunch of stuff.
They see two people coming from the fog, whom Sam recognizes. It is the society against evil, which makes her face turn slightly confused as she doesn't know how to react.
"Guys, it's the Society Against Evil..." Sam trails off, still in shock.
"You've done the impossible, just as we knew you could, Samantha. Now, grab the Life Stones. It's time to finish what we started," one of the members says as they take hold of the Life Stones, their smiles revealing their relief that this night is finally coming to an end.
"Yeah, let's finish this," Sam says, smiling at the thought of finally getting justice for her sister.
"Yeah, let's take down that Jigsaw bitch!" Quinn exclaims with a chuckle, which elicits a small laugh from Sam and Chad before they walk out with the society against evil.
When they step outside, the Society Against Evil effortlessly slashes through all the zombies, making it look easy. This astonishing display leaves the three of them in awe as they cheer from behind. The Society finishes as quickly as they started and proceeds to walk towards the church. Sam, Chad, and Quinn follow silently, still a bit shocked by the incredible sight.
"Remember me?" the girl asks the carnival master. Another member attempts to run and attack the carnival master, but the carnival master overpowers him, delivering a headbutt that knocks his weapons out of his hands. The carnival master then smashes his head against the window, but the other member kicks him to stop him in time.
He forcefully rams her to the ground, but she manages to catch herself in time and retaliates with a punch. However, he counters with a punch of his own, striking her in the face once more. Then, he pushes her into a wall, lifting her before throwing her back to the ground and ruthlessly stomping on her. Meanwhile, Quinn cowers behind Chad, who is doing his best to shield her, while Sam stands frozen in the middle, her expression one of sheer terror.
"We aren't giving you these Life Stones," Sam says, attempting to conceal her fear, though it still seeps through as the carnival master advances toward them.
"Give me the life stones. Before I rip you apart, Iimb for limb." He says getting so close to the group but the female society against evil members who got messed up by the carnival master sneak attacked him by slicing his leg and his shoulder and chest he tries to stop her and overpower her but she keeps fighting back slicing him over and over before slicing his throat which finally kills him.
"OMG! Did she just... what does that mean?" Quinn questions with a playful grin before turning to Chad as they hug and embrace each other and cheer in joy.
"This is what you need, Samantha," the lady points to the stone on the carnival's master chest. "The spell has been broken; your contract is completed. You're free. Every lock now has a future," she says before she and her friend leave, and the three embrace each other as Samantha almost tears up.
"HELL YEAH, baby!" Chad yells, which makes the girls laugh as they are delighted to see Chad finally happy.
"We finally get to go home. Finally," Quinn says as they place the life stones around the carnival master, causing him to slowly disappear.
After he disappears, Chad and Quinn share a side hug and keep that embrace as they walk out. Sam follows from behind as they reflect on the sacrifices their siblings, loved ones, and friends have made for them to get here, to finally exit this place because of them, and also in honor of Calliope and Mortimer, I guess.
"I'm going to miss Ethan," Quinn says with a sigh, but she tries not to let that get her down.
"I'm going to miss Ethan and Mindy," Chad exclaims, his voice filled with regret for losing both his close loved ones because of some stupid mistake he could have stopped but he tries to forget it as he sees Blanche.
"I'll miss Tara," Sam says, still feeling guilty about getting her sister into this mess and how she agreed to it.
"I wish this never happened. Everyone did this for me, and they were such good friends and people. I wish we never had to do this," Sam says as Quinn pulls her into an embrace with her and Chad. A smile creeps onto her face as they exit together.
"At least we completed what we came here for, and it was all for something," Quinn says as they walk into the distance on their way back home.
(Author's Note: That's the end, guys... this book finally ends. I will miss your silly comments and reactions. In another lifetime, they all survived.)
(Author's Note: Since this book has ended, I have an announcement to make. I'm ending the HSMTMTS book for a good reason. I want to create two Scream books. One will feature the Scream 6 cast mixed with the main girls of TCM and it will just be the Scream 6 movie but with a plot twist, while the other will be HSMTMTS with my OC's so MORE LIANA AND DEVYN but in Scream, taking place during Season 2 with a lot of changes to add more drama and suspense and also since I don't want two certain people together in that book. I don't know if you guys will like it or not, but I hope you like the idea, especially since you can guess the killers based on promo/introduction pictures or their personalities or whatever. TCM will still be ongoing, so this is GOODBYE TO THIS BOOK, MY LOVES!!!!!)
