Allison Begins
*TW: MENTIONS SEXUAL ASSAULT*
A young woman was sitting in the college library at the University of Texas, studying for her test in the next couple of days. Her long brown hair was tied into a loose braid, and her brown eyes stared down at the book trying to focus on the advanced mathematics in front of her. She couldn't figure out how to do any of the problems. How she got into advanced mathematics is beyond her. Letting out a small yawn while she closes her eyes and puts her head down on the desk, and groans quietly.
"Who knew trying to learn basic shit like this for a job I may not even have in the future sucks... I hope my photography business gets popular, I'd rather do that than this..." She grumbles as she lifts her head and gathers her things and quickly heads out seeing that it was already dark. She had to get ready for the college dance that was going on here in the next hour. "I don't have time to think about this, Daria has been looking forward to this dance and I don't wanna disappoint her."
Heading back to the dorms to get ready. The young woman puts her bag down and grabs the dress her mother sent her, sighing quietly and heading into the bathroom. Not realizing tonight was going to end badly.

Walking into the gym seeing everyone wearing their fancy dresses and tuxes, letting a smile gracing her lips as she looks around. Everything was decorated beautifully; she was happy with how it turned out. She heard her name being called as she turns around and looked back seeing her best friend running up to her in a cute little pink dress that touched the bottom of her knees, pink stilettos, and her dark red hair in a high curled pony with two mini strands of hair hanging by her cheeks.
"Daria!"
"You made it!" Daria grins as she hugs her best friend. "I thought your date was coming?"
"Steve? I thought so too, but I guess not." She spoke shrugging and then looked around for him but didn't see him making her sigh a little bit. "He knows how much I was looking forward to this."
"Eh, he was a loser anyway."
"You say that about every boy I date."
"So far, I've been right." Daria winks grabbing her best friend's hand. "Now, come on. We need to have fun! This is our last year together and we need to have fun!"
"If you say so, Daria," She giggles and then they go dance to the song playing over the speakers.
"Forget Steve for a little while, girl," Daria said to her as they twirl around with one another. "If he shows up, he shows up."
"Yeah!" The young woman speaks with a huge smile on her face. "You're right!"
As the women continue dancing with one another, they didn't realize a couple of men were watching them both closely. They both smirk and walk up to the ladies and began talking to them.

"9-1-1, what's your emergency?"
"..."
"Are you there?"
"Hello?" The young woman spoke quietly and in pain. Everything hurt. The wind hurt her skin as it gently blew across it. Her dress was ripped off, her underwear was off, and her bra was in shambles beside her.
"Are you there, sweetie? This is 9-1-1"
"I need help..."
"Do you know where you are, sweetheart?"
"I..." The young woman slowly looks around seeing trees surrounding her and a bench. "I think I'm... at the park..." She then looks over the other side of where she was looking seeing her best friend laying there motionless and naked as well. "Daria...?"
"What's your name, sweetie? My name is Grace."
"My name is Allison Morrow..." Allison spoke quietly turning around and leaning up on her elbows but then hisses from the pain shooting from her lower waist. "Grace, I think I was raped... and my best friend isn't moving..."
"Allison, I need you to stay still, and help is on the way. Can you stay on the phone with me?"
"I think they did something to her... Daria..." Allison gets up with some struggle and crawls to her best friend, all the while the pain was shooting up her body. She put the phone on speaker and put it down on the ground checking her friend's pulse on the side of her chin. "I can't find a pulse..." Another groan left her lips as she looks down at her legs seeing blood covering them with bruises on her legs and then she looks at her arms seeing more hand bruising on them.
"Allison, did I hear you right, you can't find a pulse?"
"...I can't find a damn pulse..." Allison screams out and then begins doing CPR on her best friend.
"..."
"Daria, you cannot die on me!" Allison pants out with every motion of the CPR and she looks down seeing Daria bleeding in the same area she was, but a lot more than she was. "Grace... I think Daria was raped too... She's bleeding profusely..."
"How are you doing? Are you bleeding just as bad?"
Allison shakes her head but forgot that Grace couldn't see it. "No... I'm somehow alive though..." She spoke quietly, but Grace still heard her but barely though. "I think they were rougher with her than me... I... It's my fault..."
"Now don't you say that as it is not your fault, Allison," Grace scolded her gently. "It's whoever did this to you and your friend. Help should be there any minute to get you both to the hospital."
Allison stops the CPR and checks Daria's pulse once more and frowns, stifling a sob from escaping as tears leave her eyes with heavy breaths, Allison spoke quietly holding herself tightly. "Grace... I don't think Daria made it... I was too late..."
The only thing that filled the area was the sirens of the firetruck, the ambulance, and Allison's ear-piercing scream.
On Grace's end, the tears couldn't stop falling down her face.

A YEAR AND A HALF LATER
Allison had finished putting the last of her boxes in her apartment in Los Angeles and her long hair was tied into a low ponytail while she wore something simple to keep cool. Looking around for the AC she had in the unit; she went to turn it on and shut the door and began unpacking. The movers had left after finishing off the paperwork.
Letting out a small sigh, Allison finished off the boxes within thirty minutes as she didn't have much with her. The couch was unwrapped and put together, the TV was on the TV stand and the internet was set up.
Her bed was set up in the room made neatly. A rug was in the middle of her room with a coffee table in the middle of it. Allison remembers she needed to go grocery shopping to get some necessities.
Allison then took a quick shower and brushed her hair after changing her outfit. After college, the young woman changed. She built up walls to protect herself and they hadn't found her rapists back in Texas. They think they had escaped and gone somewhere else so there was nothing else they could do. After the death of her best friend, she dropped out of college and began focusing on her photography. It was beginning to take off and now she had some collages she needed to do in Los Angeles since she made enough from the photoshoots she made in Texas; she got into an apartment and had some money left over.
It was rough at first, but Allison worked on it tirelessly and became successful. Thanks to everyone at the One Twenty-Six in Austin Texas, she knew that not all people weren't bad. She had taken wonderful photos of them during their calls, and just in general in their lives. Even Grace's and Judd's wedding and they were so appreciative.
Allison shakes her head from the thoughts back in Texas as she begins going to her car and drives off to the nearest grocery store. When she got there, it was weird seeing more people in there than she was used to. When she grabbed a cart, she walked in and began shopping for herself. Got some salads, vegetables, fruits, meats, milk, and some other basic stuff. When she was ready to grab something off the shelf, her hand meets another, and she jerks it back putting it against herself while she looks over seeing a handsome man standing before her.
"O-oh, I'm sorry, you can have it." She mutters, some red appearing on her cheeks. The man chuckles, grabbing it and handing it to her making her look up at him. "I said it was okay that you can have it since it's the last one."
"My mom always said that it was always the ladies that get it first," The man spoke as she gently grabs it. "Besides, I'm a little taller than you and I can see one more up here."
She smiles and puts it in her cart as she looks at him. "Thank you, sir. You're so kind."
"You're welcome, ma'am."
"Fellow Texan, I see."
"How can you tell?"
"The mannerisms." She shrugs turning around. "I'll see you around," She walks off before he could say anything else to her. When she got to check out to get her items, she had the cashier bag her items and then she put them in her cart. Allison then paid and then went out to her vehicle.
"Ms. You forgot something." Allison turns around seeing the same man holding onto one of her bags in his hands. She blinks a little bit and gently grabs it, flinching a bit when their hands touch once more. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Allison nods quickly in response. "I'll be okay." She lied straight through her teeth; she thinks he knew it too. "Thank you again."
"I'm Eddie,"
She slowly smiles and puts her bag in her trunk and closes it and takes her hand and slowly put it in his. "I'm Allison, please, call me Ali."

A month passed, and Allison was out taking pictures of the Fire Department from a distance. She raised her camera once more snagging a picture of the people bringing out a patient and putting out the fire on the top floor. Allison brings down her camera to see the picture, smiling at the result. Taking a breath, Allison goes to turn around and then jumps when she sees the familiar face of Eddie grinning at her.
"Oh my... What the hell!" Allison screeches loudly making people look at them weirdly. Eddie continues grinning her way. "What's with the grin, idiot?"
"Just seeing what you're doing," Eddie spoke to her making her frown deeply. She let out a heavy breath. "Oh, big sigh, Ali." Allison's eyes twitch when he used her nickname she graciously gave him back when they met in the grocery store. He snags her camera making her gasp.
"Edward, you give that back right now!"
Eddie grins and shakes his head, looking at the pictures. "Hey, these are amazing." Allison snags her camera back and puts it in her bag while she glares at him. "If I pay you, can you take one of me and my son?"
"..." Allison looks at him curiously. "You have a son?"
°˖✧✿✧˖°
Two months pass by and Allison was sitting at her house reading her book. Tomorrow was the day she would take pictures of Eddie and his son, Christopher. Allison loves kids and will always love them. The wall was slowly breaking with Eddie coming around a lot more often. Releasing a breath when the door began making noise. Sighing once more, Allison puts down the book and walks to the door, looking through the peephole knowing full well it was Eddie and Christopher.
Opening the door, Allison lightly smiles. "Hey Christopher," Christopher smiles her way, walks to her, and gives her a hug. She hugs him back and he hobbles his way to the couch to play the game she downloaded for him. "Eddie, why are you here?"
"I figured I would bring you something to eat," Eddie lifts up a bag of Thai takeout making her snort and usher him in. "I figured since we're hanging out a lot more, we could start a tradition of doing brunch together."
"I... I guess." Allison said to him looking at him with doe eyes. "Why are you being so nice to me?"
Eddie looks at her and smiles. "Because you seem like a nice woman to hang out with."
"I assure you that I..." She pauses and frowns a bit. "You're persistent, Eddie..."
Eddie keeps his smile while putting the food down. "I figured you have walls up because of some traumatic incident that happened."
"How did you--"
Eddie frowns and looks at her. "I know the look and body language to kind of figure it out and I'm ex-military, I've seen my fair share of it," Eddie informs her. "Whenever you wanna tell me, you can. I won't force it out of you."
A frown crosses her lips and Allison looks down.
Should she tell him?
°˖✧✿✧˖°
Two more months passed, and right on time Eddie and Christopher have shown up at her door and Christopher goes to play the game. Allison was making steak mac and cheese for brunch today. Eddie noticed she was a little more distant than normal.
"Ali, are you okay?"
Allison sighs and shakes her head. "Can I tell you something, but you have to promise you won't say anything to anyone..."
"Of course!"
Taking a breath, Allison stops stirring and turns to him. "I was brutally raped several months ago and they haven't caught my rapists. The same rapists brutally raped and killed my best friend, I haven't gotten over that..." Allison whispers the last part. "Apart from my step-father, my family has put the blame on me for everything that happened. My mother says it was my fault for the way I acted and the way I dressed. My brothers think the rapists didn't do it as they are all best friends. But they did..."
Eddie was shocked, he then walked up to her and hugs her making her tense up at the touch. "I promise you, Hermana. You can rely on and trust me to keep you safe. I won't let anything happen to you anymore, whenever you find them. I'll be there for you."
Allison gives him a genuine smile.
"Thank you, Hermano..."

It had been two months since Allison told him about what happened with her. Eddie and Allison have then become so close that they pretty much knew everything about one another. Allison had been taking pictures of him and Christopher when he wanted them done, free of charge (even though Eddie wanted to pay her, she refused). Eddie had made it his vow to keep her safe.
Her rapists were still out there, Allison knew she could trust Eddie but - who knew opening up to other people would help her PTSD and trust in men make her feel better about herself.
~
Yes, this is rushed, and I apologize! I will add more to it when I can, and I do promise it gets better. I'm only making this series with snippets from the show. Different episodes and what not - but there is somewhat of a storyline to it, and I hope you enjoy this!<3
