  You looked at your boyfriend, Ekko. Both of you were on a date, you didn't have a lot of those but that was fine with you. If the other Firelights needed Ekko or you they could shoot the flare gun into the sky, once Ekko or you saw it than you would go to where the Firelights were.

Ekko asked you out via a letter, you two would send love letters to each other even through you could just talk to each other. You both found it romantic. You were wearing a red hoodie and a f/c skirt/pants/shorts.

You had found a small pond a few years back and a year ago you should Ekko the pond. It was a cold pond almost the size of a lake. You and Ekko always went to this pond to have dates.

Ekko looked at you, you thought it was sweet. You thought it was sweet that he could look at you and make you fall in love again, you thought it was sweet he could write pages full of words and it would only mean three simple words, you thought it was sweet that you could kiss and you knew he loved you.

" Wanna have a sandwich? " He asked you. You two were sitting down on a blanket and there was a picnic basket on the blanket as well. Ekko had packed one sandwich that was split into two parts, one part for you and one part for him.

You shook your head and said, " I wanna show you something first. " You for up and Ekko did the same. He followed you for a bit before you tripped on a rock sending you into the water.

The water was like ice on your skin. The water was from where you were sitting, at your chin. You raised your hand and asked, " Can you help me up? " Ekko took your hand and you pulled him into the cold water.

Ekko while still underwater pulled you down for a split second. You both came up from the other and laughed, you splashed him with water. You both were soaking wet, his white hair was dripping with water. You thought he was looking quite hot at the moment but when you look at Ekko's smile, it made you feel like you fell in love with him again.

Without hesitation, you kissed him. You soon broke the kiss and he looked into your eyes. Ekko ran his fingers through your h/c hair with that smile of his.

Just by looking at his smile you would have gladly broken your own heart for him. But you didn't need to, because he loved you and you loved him.

Ekko began to speak " I-" You cut him off by putting your pointed finger on his lips. " I know. "

You thought it was sweet that you two didn't need to say " I love you " because just by they way you look at each other made it clear. It was so sweet.
