"we've missed you!" carmen exclaimed as i settled onto the couch with her, penny, ivy and daisy. it's been a long time since i had girl time with them.

i smiled at their warm welcome, feeling a sense of familiarity and comfort in their presence. "it's been far too long," i agreed, settling into the cushions. "what have you all been up to?"

ivy was the first to speak, her voice filled with her usual humor. "oh, you know, the usual," she said, rolling her eyes dramatically. "dating dramas, social media drama, life drama. same old, same old."

carmen laughed, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "speak for yourself," she chimed in. "my life has been relatively drama-free for once."

penny arched an eyebrow, looking over at carmen. "no way," she said, her voice filled with skepticism. "are you actually going to sit there and tell us you haven't had any drama lately?"

"well-" carmen began, but penny cut her off.

"i don't believe you." penny said with a smirk.

carmen scowled at getting called out, but then her face split into a mischievous grin. "fine," she said, dramatically feigning defeat. "there was one little incident."

i raised both of my eyebrows, "you've got my attention."

"okay, but you guys have to promise not to judge," carmen said, looking at us with mock sincerity.

"we promise," ivy chimed in, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "now spill the tea."

carmen rolled her eyes at ivy's tone, but then she leaned forward in her seat, clearly enjoying having our undivided attention. "okay, so i was over at this guy's place, right?" she started. "and we were getting hot and heavy-" she continued, her voice taking on a sultry tone.

daisy let out a scoff, "who says 'hot and heavy?'" she said with a laugh.

carmen groaned, "do you want to hear the story or not?"

daisy threw up her hands in surrender, a playful smile on her face. "okay, okay. carry on."

"thank you," carmen huffed, then continued with the story. "as i was saying, we were getting hot and heavy, and then his phone rings."

penny made a face, her eyes widening. "is this going where i think it's going?" she said, feigning shock.

she laughed before continuing, "it was...get this. not his girlfriend but his wife! i never left someone's house so quickly!"

the room erupted in a chorus of gasps. ivy clutched her chest dramatically. "no way!"

"did you tell her?" penny asked with raised eyebrows.

carmen nodded and spoke with a hint of pride in her voice. "i found her instagram and dmed her."

i leaned forward, "and then what?"

carmen's grin widened, clearly enjoying being the center of attention. "well, it gets better." she said, drawing out the anticipation. "she didn't believe me at first, thought i was making it up. but then i guess she caught him with some other girl and she divorced him."

ivy let out a low whistle, her eyes wide with amazement. "damn, you really tore down that man's whole life." she said with a hint of admiration.

i shook my head. "he tore up his own life."

penny nodded in agreement. "yeah, he's the idiot who cheated. you just pulled back the curtain on his bullshit."

carmen looked proud of herself for a moment, then rolled her eyes again. "well, now he's trying to win me back."

daisy's eyebrows shot up. "really?" she said, disbelief clear in her voice.

carmen nodded, her expression turning to annoyance. "yeah, he's been blowing up my phone with apologies and attempts at gifts."

penny let out a snort. "classic play from the cheater's handbook." she said, shaking her head.

"anyway, enough of me...someone else go." carmen said as she leaned back.

ivy raised her hand slightly, her eyes darting between us. "i've got something." she said with a hint of excitement. "so you guys know i have that phone case brand, 'wildflower.'"

i looked around before speaking, "are you kidding me? we all have a wildflower case of course we know."

ivy let out a small laugh, a hint of embarrassment on her face. "right, right, right." she said, her voice slightly sheepish. "well, the brand just got named one of the fastest growing millennial iphone fashion accessories and social media brands. it's not super huge but it's huge for me." she said with a proud smile.

penny let out an exaggerated cheer and clapped her hands. "oh my god, congratulations!!" she exclaimed, clearly excited for ivy.

ivy's cheeks flushed with pride at the praise. "thank you, thank you. i'm really excited about it." she said humbly.

i grinned widely. "yeah, it's a big accomplishment. but i've seen you work your ass off to make this happen. so you deserve it." i said, giving ivy a supportive pat on the back.

ivy smiled warmly, appreciation written across her face. "thanks, it hasn't been easy but i'm loving it." she said, before her tone turned playful. "i can't wait to become a huge phone case mogul and never have to work again."

the room was filled with a collective laugh, everyone amused by ivy's ambitious dream.

carmen, playing the role of realist as always, said, "don't get too ahead of yourself." she teased.

"dais? what about you, what's new?" i asked her.

daisy thought for a moment before her face lit up. "oh! i sold out my first tour which is...crazy. and barry and i are going so well." she smiled, "i haven't been happier, seriously."

ivy cooed and clapped her hands together excitedly. "awwww, a tour! that's amazing!!" she exclaimed, clearly thrilled for her. penny and carmen echoed similar sentiments, all of them visibly happy for daisy.

i nodded, feeling a mix of pride and happiness for her. "that's amazing, i'm so proud of you. and you and barry are adorable. when i saw him in london, just know he wouldn't shut up about you." i said sincerely.

daisy blushed at the mention of barry talking about her. "really? he said nice things?" she asked, sounding almost shy.

"only the best things don't worry. i'd beat his ass if he tried anything different." i said with a smile.

daisy looked both comforted and amused. "i'll keep that in mind." she said with a wink.

i looked at penny, "and what's up with you, girl?"

penny smiled and spoke in her usual soft tone. "recently? hm...i've been doing a lot of photoshoots, photoshoots, going on dates with mike faist and photoshoots." she said quickly.

my eyes widened, "woah! can we talk about the mike faist sneak?"

penny blushed slightly, clearly excited about her new relationship. "yeah, yeah. we've been seeing each other for a little while now." she confessed, unable to hide her smile.

"challengers guy?" carmen asked wanting confirmation.

penny nodded, her smile never wavering. "yeah, the very one." she affirmed, obviously smitten.

ivy let out a low whistle, clearly impressed. "damn, penny, good for you. he's really cute."

penny laughed softly, her cheeks still flushed. "thanks." she said, trying to downplay it. "he's a really great guy and so far it's been going super well."

daisy nodded in agreement. "he seems sweet too, which is a bonus." she said with a smile. "i'm happy for you."

penny smiled warmly. "thanks, guys." she said, appreciating their support. "it's all still new but i'm really excited to see where it goes."

i grinned at penny, feeling genuinely happy for her. "well, he's lucky to have you. you're not only one of the most beautiful people i know, but you're one of the most kindhearted. he better be treating you right."

penny's cheeks reddened a bit more, her smile becoming shy now. "thanks, kacey." she said, touched. "it's still new so...we're just getting to know each other more."

carmen leaned forward, a mischievous glance. "so, spill. does he kiss good?" she asked, clearly wanting to know the details.

penny's eyes widened and she looked almost stunned at carmen's question. "um..." her voice trailed off, her cheeks turning redder with embarrassment. "yeah." she confessed with a sheepish smile.

i shook my head at carmen and laughed softly.

carmen just rolled her eyes at me and shot me a sly grin, clearly unrepentant. "come on, i had to ask." she said, feigning innocence.

"your turn." ivy said looking at me. "tell us everything. how are things with callum? how's music going?"

i blushed a little, feeling the attention shift to me. "well, things with callum are going great." i started, a small smile playing on my lips. "he's my biggest supporter and we've been having a lot of fun together." as i thought about callum, my grin widened. "and music has been great too. i just dropped 'sweet relief,' and it's doing amazing on the charts. and i'm thinking about doing a concert here in la soon."

ivy's face lit up, "oh my god, a concert? that would be amazing. sign me up immediately." she said, half jokingly.

i laughed softly at ivy's eagerness. "i'll keep that in mind." i promised, amused by how excited she seemed.

carmen's playful expression returned, a smirk on her lips. "and what about the private stuff?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "anything to spill there?"

i felt my cheeks warm a little, caught off guard by carmen's question. "well..." i started, trying to suppress a smile. "it's all good. really good." i said, keeping things vague on purpose.

carmen gave me a knowing smile, "you two have definitely gotten hot and heavy." she said.

daisy shook her head. "here you go again with this 'hot and heavy' stuff!"

carmen laughed and shrugged. "what? i'm just saying what we're all thinking." she said, unashamed.

i couldn't help but roll my eyes at carmen, a mix of embarrassment and amusement. "you always have to say the quiet part out loud, huh?" i said, trying to deflect.

"so where is your man anyway?" penny asked.

"oh, he's doing some interview." i replied, feeling a small pang of disappointment that he wasn't here. "he said 'british gq' would post some photos on instagram from the interview after...as like a teaser for their next video." i added.

carmen spoke, "have they posted them yet?"

i pulled out my phone and opened up instagram. "oh my gosh they did," i said, as i laughed at the photo.

the room erupted into a chorus of shocked laughs, everyone clearly amused by the photo and the message on the card.

"how'd he handle it after getting punched by kourtney?" penny asked.

i chuckled, rolling my eyes at the memory. "he put on a really brave face, he didn't even complain. not once." i said, shaking my head at the remembrance of the moment.

daisy let out a bark of laughter, "he should win some kind of award for putting up with kourtney." she said, clearly amused.

carmen nodded in agreement, her voice taking on a teasing tone. "yeah, seriously, that takes some serious balls."

i couldn't help but grin at the image of callum taking a punch and shrugging it off. "i know, right? he's a trooper." i said, feeling proud of him.

as i sat with them, i got a text from my mom notifying me about all of the need to know's for my upcoming show. i smiled as i realized everything was coming together. she then advised me to post about the show.
