after the passionate kiss, things between callum and i had taken a new turn. we spent the rest of the night wrapped in each other's arms, exploring each other's bodies in ways we never had before. it was intimate, intense, and everything i had ever wanted.

the morning sunlight crept through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. as i lay there next to callum, i felt a mix of tenderness and contentment. i slowly sat up, gently moving out of his embrace, and looked over at him.

callum stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open at the movement. he looked up at me, his eyes still sleepy, and smiled. "morning, beautiful." he said, his voice low and raspy from sleep.

i couldn't help but smile back, feeling a soft flutter in my chest at the nickname. "morning." i said, the word barely above a whisper. i looked down at him, his tousled hair and sleep-filled eyes making him even more attractive.

callum sat up and ran a hand through his messy hair, trying to tame it. he looked at me with a small smile, his eyes wandering over my body. "you look good in my bed." he teased, a hint of mischief in his tone.

i blushed at his comment, feeling a mixture of confidence and vulnerability under his gaze. "and you look good in boxers." i teased back, gesturing to his lack of clothes.

callum chuckled, clearly amused by my response. "i guess we make quite the pair then." he said, leaning back against the headboard. he patted the space next to him, silently inviting me to come closer.

i obeyed, crawling back into his arms and snuggling against his chest. he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer against him. i could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, his warmth enveloping me.

we laid there for a few moments, just holding each other in comfortable silence, basking in the aftermath of our passionate night. callum eventually broke the silence, his voice soft. "last night was incredible."

i smiled at his words, feeling a surge of satisfaction and happiness. "it was." i agreed, tracing small patterns on his chest with my fingertips. "it was perfect." i added, looking up at him.

callum looked down at me, his eyes filled with tenderness. he lifted a hand and gently brushed a strand of hair away from my face. "you're perfect." he said, his voice sincere and affectionate.

my heart swelled at his words, feeling like i was on cloud nine. i snuggled closer to him, feeling completely content in this moment. "you're not so bad yourself." i said playfully.

callum chuckled, clearly amused by my response. he planted a kiss on the top of my head, holding me close to him. "i'm serious, kacey. you're the most perfect person i've ever met." he said, his voice filled with pure adoration.

i felt my heart flutter at his words, overwhelmed by the love and affection in his voice. i looked up at him, feeling a mix of emotions. "i meant every word i said in that song. i love you, callum." i said softly.

callum's eyes softened at my confession. he looked down at me, his gaze intense and genuine. "i love you too, kacey. more than you could ever know." he said, his voice filled with raw honesty.

i found myself seated with jacob and the lawyer for a follow up meeting.

i sat between jacob and the lawyer, my focus fixed on the legal documents spread out on the table in front of me. i felt a mix of emotions, nerves and anticipation swirling within me.

jacob, on the other hand, seemed unusually quiet. he fidgeted with a pen in his hand, his eyes avoiding mine.

the lawyer, a no-nonsense man in his 50s, cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "alright, shall we begin?" he asked, looking between jacob and i.

jacob and i both nodded, silently bracing ourselves for what was to come.

the lawyer began going over the documents, explaining the terms and conditions. i listened intently, trying to keep my mind from racing.

jacob, on the other hand, seemed to be struggling to focus. his gaze flicked around the room, restless and uneasy. his leg bounced up and down, a clear indication of his growing anxiety.

i glanced over at jacob, my concern growing. i recognized the signs of his anxiety and knew that he was quickly getting overwhelmed. i pushed his glass full of water closer to him, silently telling him to take a sip and calm his nerves.

jacob noticed the gesture, his gaze shifting to the glass of water i had pushed towards him. he paused for a moment, then reached forward and took a few sips, his body still tense.

the lawyer continued his discussion, seemingly oblivious to jacob's discomfort. i sat through the meeting which basically told us that the therapist would be notified of the suing today.

jacob was now his normal calm and collected self. he simply nodded acknowledging what the lawyer said.

i cleared my throat and spoke up, "will we have to take this to court?"

the lawyer turned his attention towards me, his expression serious. "it's difficult to say for sure. depends how the therapist responds. she might offer a settlement, or she might fight back." he explained.

i nodded, biting my lip as i considered the possibilities. the thought of testifying in court left a heavy weight on my chest.

sensing my unease, jacob leaned in closer, his voice gentle. "it'll be okay, kacey. we'll handle whatever comes our way." he reassured me.

the therapist sighed as he got up from the table, packing his papers up. "i wouldn't worry about court. i have a good feeling that she won't take us to court. who would want to take a jenner to court?" he said with a small chuckle, this was the first time i saw him do anything remotely similar to a smile.

i couldn't help but smile back, feeling a bit reassured by his words. jacob let out a soft chuckle, clearly amused by the lawyer's confidence.

"thanks, daniel. we'll keep in touch." jacob said, standing up to shake the lawyer's hand. with the meeting concluded, the lawyer bid us goodbye and walked out of the restaurant.

i watched as the lawyer left, a sigh of relief escaping my lips. i turned to jacob, feeling a wave of tiredness wash over me. "that was a lot." i said, letting out another exhale. jacob nodded, his expression mirroring my own fatigue.

"yeah, it was." he agreed. he ran a hand through his hair, raking his fingers through the messy strands.

we sat in silence for a few moments, the weight of the meeting still hanging in the air. finally, jacob spoke up. "you holding up okay?" he asked, his gaze searching mine.

i nodded, offering him a small smile. "yeah, i'm good. just a bit drained now." i said, rubbing my temples.

he sighed, "i'm sorry for putting this on you."

i shook my head, immediately dismissing his apology. "don't be sorry. you didn't do anything wrong." i said firmly. "we're doing the right thing."

jacob held my gaze, his eyes filled with vulnerability and gratitude. "you're right. we are." he said.

"i should get going." i said as i stood up from the table.

jacob stood up as well, a hint of reluctance in his movements. "yeah, me too." he said, glancing down at his watch.

we walked towards the exit together, the silence between us comfortable but filled with unspoken thoughts.

as we reached the door, jacob stopped and turned to me. "amazing song by the way."

his comment surprised me, a small smile forming on my lips. "yeah? you listened to it?" i asked, feeling a burst of excitement.

jacob nodded, shoving his hands in his pockets. "yeah, listened to it a couple times." he admitted, a sheepish smile playing on his lips. "i really do wish you and callum the best."

his words warmed my heart. i could tell there was no trace of jealousy or bitterness in his tone. "thanks, jacob." i said sincerely.

we stood there for a moment longer, neither of us willing to say goodbye. "take care, kacey." he eventually said, his voice soft.

"you too, jacob." i replied, my own words barely above a whisper. we shared a lingering look, both of us knowing this wasn't goodbye forever, but just a temporary separation.

with callum, we baked a chocolate chip cake as i then got a bunch of notifications. i furrowed my eyebrows as all of the messages were directing me to an article.

justice is being served! about four months ago, when jacob elordi and kacey jenner were together the two decided to see a couples therapist. not only did this therapist not help but she confirmed that the ex couple had relationship problems and were breaking up!

what happened to doctor-patient confidentiality? well it seems that kacey and jacob hired a lawyer to sue this therapist.

today, aubrey lance, the therapist was severed. not only has her therapy license been revoked but she also owes a total of $2 million dollars. we recently found out that she voluntarily confirmed their relationship difficulties for $100 thousand dollars from an unnamed tabloid news organization.

i guessed that the lawyer seriously wasn't playing when he said that the therapist would get word today. the article quickly spread, and the entire media world was talking about it.

my phone kept buzzing as messages from friends and family poured in, congratulating us and giving praise for standing up for our rights.

callum, who was standing next to me, leaned in to read the article. his eyes widened as he scrolled through. "damn. two million." he said, looking impressed.

"yeah, that'll teach her a lesson." i said, my voice filled with satisfaction. i felt a weight lift off my shoulders, knowing that the therapist got what she deserved.

"that's one good lawyer you guys have." callum said, a hint of respect in his tone.

i nodded in agreement, feeling grateful for the lawyer's competence and determination. "yeah, daniel did an incredible job." i said, a small smile on my lips.

"what are you looking for again?" callum asked me as we walked into the book store.

i chuckled at his question. "i'm looking for something to keep me busy. we're gonna be in bora bora with my family for four days. how are you not more..." i paused trying to think of the word.

"...excited?" callum finished my sentence with a smirk. i shot him a playful glare, rolling my eyes. he chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer against him.

i laughed softly as i leaned into touch. "i was going to say how are you not more adamant about looking for your own book. you've met my family, you know they can be a little much."

callum chuckled igjen at my words, clearly amused. "oh, believe me, i'm well aware of your family's...intensity." he said, the corner of his mouth lifting into a smile.

i chuckled, knowing all too well that my family could be overwhelming. "yeah, they're a lot." i said, shaking my head with amusement as i led him through the store.

we browsed through the aisles, our fingers occasionally grazing as we both grabbed different book titles. i found a few that caught my eye, and callum teased me about my taste in literature.

callum grabbed himself a book and sat down on a nearby stool as he waited for me. i continued to browse the spines of various books, my fingers tracing the titles as i looked for my next read. eventually, i picked up a book that caught my eye. i walked over to where callum was and smiled at him.

"find anything good?" i asked, taking a seat next to him. he held up the book he was holding, a crime thriller.

i raised my own book in response. "found mine." i said, showing him the cover. he looked at the title and chuckled.

"mystery, huh? you really are a nerd." he teased, shooting me a cheeky grin.
