"It would be great if you could compel them or at least you know drink their blood," Clint said as he shot someone with his arrow with Natasha in the vehicle next to them.

"I would totally be for that but Spangles has me on a blood diet," Caroline kicked someone off her vehicle, "According to him, it's known as the bunny diet." She stated before Natasha skidded the vehicle to the side, hitting a barrier. The three of them jumped over the barrier with the rest of the team at their side.

Kiara swung at the guards knocking them out and landing plain on her feet, "It sounds like Spangles isn't allowing you to be your vampire self."

Caroline kicked one of the guards before landing on the ground with Natasha and Clint at her side as the others took off in opposite directions. Once the guards were taken care of the three of them went in different directions, Caroline wooshing to a tree that hid her from the bunker nearby.

"Shit!" Tony shouted.

"Language!" Steve immeadiately replied, "Jarvis what's the view from upstairs?"

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield." Jarvis informed, "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."

"Yet, its not impossible." Caroline stated before someone came up behind the blonde, wrapping their arms around her neck, cutting of her air supply. He pushed her against the tree as Caroline tried to free herself. She reverted to her last option, Caroline sunk her teeth into his wrist. She would be lying if she didn't enjoy his blood coursing through her body. The arms disappeared from her neck, Caroline turned around and snapped his neck, "Well, that was fun."

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount his defense without it." Thor pointed out the group, "At long last."

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." The women of the team said in unison.

"I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint said leaving Caroline to sass back at him,

"Thanks Clint, I didn't notice." Caroline kicked another agent in the abdomen and ducking the punches that were coming her way. She pushed him into a tree hard enough to knock him out.

"Wait a second, is no one going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?" Tony asked

"Try living with it," Caroline shrugged.

"Or hearing it all the time in their apartment. I swear that I'm going to go nuts by the need of this." Kiara whipped herself around to choke hold the agent as he went into subconscious.

"I know," Steve sighed before pausing, "Just slipped out."

"You can always stay at my house, young K." Tony yelled.

"Sir, the city is taking fire," Jarvis informed Tony.

"Well, we know Strucker's not gonna worry about civilian casualties. Send in the Iron Legion." Tony commanded,

Caroline ran away from another explosion as more Hydra agents ran after her. She used her vampire speed to maneuver her way as the agents shot themselves instead of her.

"Join Caroline. Shield will be so much fun," Caroline tried to imitate Peggy's voice.  

Caroline stopped as she could sense somebody was getting close, the person got closer as Caroline knocked the guy to the floor.

"You saw that coming?" The guy asked, standing up with his thick Russian accent. He had white hair, while Caroline did find him a bit attractive.

"I must say, that you're quite beautiful."

Caroline shot him one of her famous sarcastic smile, "Thanks, I'll put it on my resume." She said as the guy sped away, faster than Caroline's vamp speed.

"We have an Enhancement in the field." Steve informed the team few seconds after Caroline's encounter.

"Clint's hit!" Natasha said

"Somebody want to deal with that bunker?" She asked in annoyance, not a few seconds later Caroline heard Hulk's famous roar.

"Thank you."

"Stark, we really need to get inside." Steve said as Caroline began making her way to the research base since there was no guards or bunkers around.

"I'm closing in." After a moment, Tony spoke again, "The drawbridge is down, people."

"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac." Natasha said as Caroline began going up the stairs that never seemed to cease.

"I can get Barton to the jet." Thor said, "The sooner  we're gone, the better. You guys secure the scepter."

"On it." Caroline informed a she heard Thor's hammer hit Steve's shield.

"Find the scepter."

"And for gosh sake, watch your language!" Tony sassed, making Caroline giggle.

Steve sighed, "That's not going away anytime soon."

"Sorry, sweetheart."

"We're locked down out here." Natasha said

"Get to Banner. Time for a lullaby." Steve said as he met Caroline at the top of the stairs.

"You know you're really slow. No wonder I beat you in the race at New York." Caroline explained to her boyfriend as they walked inside.

"Baron Strucker. Hydra's number one thug." Steve greeted the criminal.

"Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD.' Strucker pointed out.

"Well, then technically you're unemployed." Caroline spat back at him.

"Where's Loki's scepter?"

Strucker sighed, "Don't worry, I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope."

"I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation." Steve sassed back, "How many are there?"

Strucker ignored the question as he looked down at the blonde

"Miss Kinglsey," he greeted with a smile, "A experiment succeed."

Caroline raised her eyebrow,"Really, you must be confused with someone else."

"Maybe you're blocking the memories that aren't worth re-living."

Steve glared at Strucker as he grabbed Caroline's arm and pushing her behind him. A girl with long brown hair came up behind Strucker and sent a rush of energy toward Steve, knocking him and Caroline down the stairs. Both of them groaned as they quickly rushed back up the stairs, but the female was long gone.

"We have a second Enhanced. Female. Do not engage."

"You'll have to be faster than-" Caroline rolled her eyes as she kicked him in the stomach as Steve hit him in the face with his shield.

"Fast enough?" Caroline sassed, receiving a groan from Strucker.

"Guys, we got Strucker."

"Yeah, I got something bigger." Tony said as Caroline shuddered making her way out of the building, but Steve grabbed her arm.

"What's wrong?"

"What if Strucker's right? What if I'm repressing the memories I'm not ready to deal with. I don't remember a lot when I was kidnapped. What if-"

"This guy is a criminal. He's trying to get into your head. Right now, we have to focus that you're here and fighting and that we found one another."  Caroline's face softened as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's waist.

"We found each other and that's all that matters."
