Groans came out of each one of them as they each started to wake up and as Crystal sat up she felt a cold breeze, making her clutch herself for her own warmth. Little did she know that what the man in the trenchcoat was right and that she was the most overdressed of them all. She looked to her right and came in contact with Leonard Snart, the man she met months ago.

"Stein? Crystal? What the hell are you doing here?" He questioned while he glanced around at the other people on the rooftop. "Also, why are you so overdressed?"

"Trust me that I'm regretting being overdressed." She responded and tried to find a way to cover up a bit and not draw so much attention to herself. For once, she wanted to admit that Elijah was right about something. "But the more important question is what are we doing here?"

Another voice started to chime in from the end of the line where they were placed, "Why don't you ask the dude who knocked us out and kidnapped us? British dude with the flashy thing ring any bells?"

Those words triggered the man in the trenchcoat to reveal himself to them."Name's Rip Hunter." Soon, he had all the nine pairs of eyes swirl to see the man who had knocked them unconscious with a weirdly shaped gun. "I'm from East London. Oh, and the future."

Everyone slowly got up on their feet with Crystal slowly doing the same, but running into trouble with her dress. Leonard lent a hand to help the struggling witch. Their hands connected and Crystal felt this strange spark shock her, making her hand retreat a little before connecting it with his again, which finally got her to her feet. She gave him a small thanks before returning to the man from the future.

"Nice to meet ya, Rip" The rather tough man grinned rather devilishly and went to reach for his gun, but was rather disappointed to see it missing.

"Oh, while you were incapacitated I may have tampered with your weapons." The tough man's grin disappeared with Rip's words, yet the British man continued, "I've assembled you all because I need your help. The future of the world is in peril because of a man named Vandal Savage."

"That can't be." A man with hawklike armor spoke up from down the line. "We destroyed him."A woman, who bared similar armor to the man who spoke before her, responded, "Yeah, The Green Arrow and Flash helped us do it."

"And therein lay the problem," Rip noted lifting up a finger, "Unless you and Mister Hall delivered the death blow, Savage can be restored from but a single cell."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Crystal was quite confused with the three talking about Vandal Savage. She felt as if everyone was in on a joke while she wasn't. If she didn't know any better, she would've assumed that Vandal was also a vampire.

Mr. Hall looked towards Crystal to answer her question, "Vandal's immortal. Kendra and I reincarnate." Slowly Crystal was putting names together and seeing why Rip picked this certaon group to help himfight Savage.

"Yeah," The blonde replied and seemed to agree, "I've done that."

"What the hell does this Randall guy got to do with us?" The tough man growled seeming rather annoyed as he talked rather loudly. "Vandal." Rip corrected and begun to walk again towards the start of line, "In the future, he will employ the evil he has perfected over his long life and the power he has amassed throughout history to finally....conquer the world."

"I've been tasked with assembling an elite team to stop him." Rip continued with his speech before the blonde interrupted him. "How?"

"To travel through time." Rip stated while he extends his arm and spanning it over the air. "To capture Savage before he grows into the monster he becomes."

Leonard walks forward and immediately denies the invitation with his partner following behind, "You got the wrong guy. Hero ain't on my resume."

"Or mine." The tough man agreed and tried to catch up to Leonard to leave.

Rip pleaded by continuing his speech, "Oh, I know it's difficult for you to fathom, but where I'm from, the year 2166, you and everyone on this roof aren't just considered heroes." Rip took a rather dramatic pause before speaking again, "You're legends."

The man in the suit at the end of the line spoke up, rather interested in the topic, "Legends?"

An older man chimed in after him, "I hate to nitpick, but doesn't a legend have to be dead?"

"Yeah, see uh," the man at the start of the line spoke up again, "That's a deal-breaker for me, so I'm a pass."

"Well," Crystal walked forward and still quite confused added her take on the situation, "I can live for centuries unless I'm killed with a wooden stake. And I know most of you can't begin to  comprehend that, but I'm not looking forward to that future just yet."

"It's dangerous for any of you to know too much about your own futures." Rip considered, before turning to face the huddle that everyone slowly made, "But I am here because each of you as individuals is destined for greatness."

The man in the suit took it rather well and Crystal could note his excitement for it, "I could get behind that."

"And, because if you don't follow me," Rip added walking forward past Leonard and his partner, pulled out a small machine which looked like a remote, and pointed it towards the various buildings that surrounded them, "This is what is in store for your world 150 years from now."As soon as he finished his last word, it caused a mirage to expand outwards from that spot that he aimed at showing the future of the area around them. The dark blue sky filled with stars suddenly became one filled with orange-red smoke and fires with ships shooting lasers at buildings causing them to collapse. Rip let go of the button on the remote causing the image to disappear and bring back the night-blue sky.

"I could've chosen any time or any place." Rip paused and then continued with a louder voice, " Of all people who ever lived, I chose you nine. I certainly hope that you won't let me, and the world, down." With that, he finished his speech and walked forward. He stopped at the old man and handed him a card, "If you answer yes, meet me at this address in 36 hours."

Saving the future and traveling through time were concepts that she only saw in movies. She never would've believed that time traveling existed, nor that she would be the one to partake in it. In a world where vampires and werewolves exist, it wasn't so far fetched. Crystal overlooked the address that he gave to the old man as Rip walked away, leaving the nine of them to reflect on what's been said. She was the first to start the conversation, "What just happened?"

"Well," The man with the suit marveled," I think we all just got tasked to save the world."

She started to pace away from the huddle and huffed, "Yeah, that's what I was afraid of." It was a surprise that the rest of them didn't leave yet. They probably were still in shock the same as Crystal, who couldn't wrap her head around it just yet. Her hands were full with the seams of the dress and was trying to keep it from getting dirty on the rooftop; she continued to pace as a way to relieve her stress about the situation and also to help her think. But her pacing was getting on someone's nerves.

"You should stop pacing Crystal, it's giving me a headache." Leonard shot her a smirk to which she furrowed her eyebrows before approaching him with a smile.

"If you want pain, I'll show you pain." She warned as she lifted her hand and started to chant over and over again. Almost instantly, Leonard fell to the ground and grabbed his temples. Everyone stood in shock watching her spell take effect. A few seconds later, a nose bleed started to occur which was her warning sign that he had enough of her so called 'pain'. The rest of them looked at her in awe, almost as if they never seen magic done before which could be a probability as they all looked starstruck. The only one to step forward was the old man in all amazement,"I've read about you! You're the one that goes by the name of Huntress in New Orleans, right? Rumors have it that you practice magic and help save lives down in the South."

Crystal felt a sudden sense of pride that someone as small as her were making headlines in other places. Much of what she did wasn't grand in any way, just trying to protect the innocent that are preyed on bu the supernatural who lurk the city. The old man went to grab her hand and started shaking, "A pleasure to meet you. I'm Professor Stein, and a huge fan of your work. I would love to pick your brain and how you're able to do all of that magic stuff. Particularly in spell that beat up Leonard Snart."

"Hilarious" Leonard rolled his eyes as he kept the distance from the woman he met months prior. Crystal still held his attention in a way that he couldn't quite put his finger on. The little show that she did to him only proved that she wasn't someone to mess with, and he couldn't explain why he felt a certain type of amazement. But in a way, he was ready to find out why.

And so was she.
