Crystal sat in her room playing with her arrowhead and looking down at the floor until Ray popped in.

"I would've assumed that you more than anyone would want revenge for Snart's death." Ray leaned against the doorway while Crystal still reverted to looking down at the floor.

"Just because I'm sitting here like a bump on a log doesn't mean I don't want to seek revenge for his death."

Ray got closer and took a seat next to Crystal, who passed the arrowhead so he could examine it.

"Isn't it funny that we were both engaged to other people and none of us got our happy ending?" Crystal leaned her head against Ray shoulder who chuckled at the question.

"Snart would've wanted you to be happy, Crystal." Ray took a hold of Crystal's hand, intertwining it with hers only causing it Crystal more heartbreak because it felt so similar to Leonard's.

"It's a shame that he was the one who made me happiest." Crystal wiped away her tear from her check in a fit, not waiting to shed another tear.

"You're going to think that the pain will never end, but it will. But first you have to let it all in. You can't fight it. It's bigger than you. You have to let yourself drown in it. But then eventually you'll start to swim. And then every single breath that you fight for will make you stronger. And I promise you, you will beat it." Ray said with a kiss to her forehead before leaving Crystal with more strength than ever to defeat Savage.

Sara, Stein, Jax, and Crystal hid behind some boxes in at the nuclear auction

"Oh, man, I forgot how much of a badass I was." Jax said looking at the Firestorm that flew above them

"Look." Sara pointed to Savage's henchmen opening a crate containing the meteorite.

"What do you mean you don't have the money?" The auctioneer asked Savage

"I was going to sell a nuclear warhead and pay you out of the profit. Things changed."

"You expect me to just hand the meteor over for free?"

Suddenly, a big boom is heard in the distance which gives Savage the opportunity to take his gun and shoot at the surrounding guards and auctioneer.

"No, I expected to take it from you by force." He said dropping his gun and proceeding to the meteor

Savage takes a liquid from his coat and sprinkles it on the meteor and starts chanting in a unknown language.

"You ready to show these fools what's really good?"

"You have no idea." Stein replies before slapping Jax's hand and forming Firestorm

"Glad we're past the point of worrying about the timeline." Sara says as they both remove their weapons.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." Crystal smiles before charging

"Oh, you're too late."

"Time Master's never late." Crystal smiled before charging at Savage with her staff.

Keeping up with Savage was harder than imagined, but luckily Sara and Crystal did their best to hold him off. It was a call and respond, Sara would deliver a blow then Crystal would strike him down. Then, it seemed that all of Crystal's pent up rage towards Savage took over, with her delivering blow after blow until Sara had him in a head lock with Crystal grabbing his face.

"This is my revenge for Leonard."

Savage smiled at her almost replying but before he could speak, Crystal dug into his chest and ripped his heart out and dropping it on the floor along with Savage dropping to his knees and onto the ground.

Crystal and Sara looked up to see Firestorm come down and in front of the meteor.

"It's up to you now, Jefferson." Stein spoke

"Grey, listen. If we're going to do this, we got to do it together. It's going to take the two of us, all right?" Jax spoke

"You're right. Okay."

Jax placed his hands on the meteor trying to absorb its energy, "Come on, Grey!"

Jax pulled away and took a step back, resulting in the meteor to turn into water at wetting Crystal and Sara's shoes.

"Oh, man. You got our boots wet." Sara joked

"Jefferson, you did it!"

"We did it, man. Gideon, take us back to Rip." Jax commanded with them getting onboard the ship and time jumping to 2021.

"Damn it! I wanted to be the one to kill him. Again, I mean." Mick said climbing one of the railings and looking at Savage's dead body.

Crystal came from the side and taking an overlook of the meteor, "Um... I don't think our problems are over yet."

"I'm on it." Jax said placing his hands on the meteor

"On what?" Mick asked with a dumb face on.

"It's not working." Jax said pulling away

"The radiation buildup is too progressive."

"I got this." Ray said ripping the crate's side open and pointing his arm at it with his laser beam hitting the meteor but suddenly beeping,"I don't understand. I must be all out of power."

"What happens if only one of these goes off?" Sara asked

"Uh... time will remain intact. The world? Not so much."

"Okay, guys, let's fly this thing out of here." Jax said

"To where? We would never get it far enough away."

"Maybe the Waverider can. Rip, we need... Rip?" Ray looked around confused until they see the Waverider come around and pick up the meteor and taking off.

"Rip! What are you doing?" Crystal called out

"I'm flying the Waverider into the sun, with the meteor on board."

"And you on it." Sara reaffirmed

"I guess this is good-bye." Rip said with the team taking a somber mood.

"It's been a pleasure, Captain."

"Likewise, Dr. Palmer."

"But you brought us all into this, man."

"Which is why I'm doing this alone, Mr. Jackson. I'll have no one else die for my choices."

"This isn't going to bring Snart back." Crystal says

"I don't want to lose another friend." Mick shows some sentiment

"I appreciate that, Mr. Rory. I must say, it's been an honor to serve as your cap..." Rip gets cut off resulting in the team to assume that they had lost signal with their captain.

20 MINUTES AGO

"What happens if only one of these goes off?" Sara asked

"Our time will remain intact. The world, not so much." Rip replied

"Okay, guys, let's fly this thing out of here."

"To where? We'd never get it far enough away."

"Maybe the Waverider can. Rip, we need... where's Rip?"

"And the meteorite?" Crystal asked looking at an empty crate and not a second late they see the Waverider come into view

"Will somebody please tell me what just happened?" Ray asked before they all headed inside the Waverider.

"Rip?" Crystal called out

"Sorry if I gave you all a fright." Rip greeted them at the door with the ship in shambles.

"What happened to the meteor?"

"Uh, I flew it into the heart of the sun. Well, I angled the ship to eject the meteorite before impact, and then, uh... time jumped away."

"You could have been killed." Jax said

"Should have been. You're a moron." Mick said

"Now, who fancies a return trip to 2016?" Rip asked before going to the main room and pushing the doors open

"I can't believe it's over." Kendra said in disbelief.

"Well, for some of you, yes. My journey, it seems, is only just beginning." Rip informed the team

"How does that work? Savage is three times dead."

"The Time Masters are no longer of growing concern, due to our destruction of the Oculus. Someone needs to be responsible for protecting the timeline. Who better than a former Time Master? And any of you who'd like to join me."

Ray, Rip, and Crystal stood outside waiting for Mick to come out of the bar that contained Leonard Snart.

"You okay?" Ray asked Mick

"Fine."

"So did you tell him?"

"That he killed himself to save our destinies?"

"If it's any consolation, I can always bring you back to this particular time and place." Rip reaffirmed Mick

"I'm fine. Just let it be." Mick said before walking away. Both Ray and Rip looked at Crystal with a face that caused her to look back at them with raised eyebrows.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"

"Ms.Pierce, I wouldn't pass this one opportunity up." Rip said to Crystal which left her in doubt before taking Rip's advice and heading inside the bar.

Crystal made her way inside trying to spot the man that stole her heart and it almost made her tear up when she saw him once again. A lump in her throat formed before she ordered a drink for Leonard Snart.

"I didn't order this," Leonard reclaimed

"But I did." Crystal said taking a seat next to him

"Crystal Pierce, got bored of New Orleans?" Leonard smirked taking a sip from his drink

"I've heard that Central City was all about the party life. I came to see what it had to offer."

"Stick with me tonight and I'll show you what this city is made of."

"Well, I kind of came for a different reason."

"What's that?" He smirked in leaning closer to Crystal

"Exactly 2 years from now we're going to meet again and we're going to have this love and hate relationship. But in the end, we fall in love and it leads up to you proposing. All that is 2 years away. But I'm here now because I want those extra 2 years with you. But that can't happen."

Leonard looked surprised at Crystal with her responding for him, "You don't have to say anything. You just have to-" Crystal cuts herself off with Crystal crashing her lips on Leonard's one last time for a proper goodbye.

"Goodbye my love," Crystal tears up before looking directly into Leonard's eyes and dilating her pupils, "When I leave this bar, you will forget everything I just said. You will remember that I came in, we had a drink, got a little drunk, and we kissed."

Crystal takes one last look at Leonard before straying away from his hands and leaving the bar with the boys waiting for her.

"Are you alright?"

"Peachy."

Crystal continues to walk as they head back to the Waverider but she turns to Rip, "Thank you."

"I'm afraid I don't understand Ms.Pierce."

"Thank you for at least letting me have a proper goodbye this time."

"Perhaps in another universe, you and Mr.Snart will have your happy ending."

"Like I always say-" Rip starts before he is cut off by Crystal

"Time wants to happen."

The Legends all stood in a straight line waiting for Rip.

"A full compliment. To be honest, I had my doubts that all of you would be willing to throw in with me for a second go."

"Well, actually..." Carter spoke

"We're not coming with you." Kendra finished his sentence

"With Savage gone, we want to start fresh, see what happens." Carter continued

"I give it three months, tops." Mick says giving Crystal a bit of a laugh

"Look, I just... I want to say thank you. To all of you. Ray, I..." Kendra said stopping herself many times

"No. This is... it's meant to be. I wish both of you nothing but the best."

"Be safe. See you guys around." Kendra said before her and Carter took off, flapping their wings into the sky.

"Every time they do that, I get hungry for chicken." Mick told Crystal and biting into a piece of chicken.

"So, shall we?" Rip said as they all headed inside but were stopped by a ship coming out of the sky.

"Is that..." Crystal said

"The Waverider." Rip finished her sentence

"Another Waverider?"

"Whatever it is, it's not slowing down. Get down!" Ray warned as they all dropped to the ground.

"What the hell's going on?" Jax asked getting up off the ground.

"To be honest, Mr. Jackson, I have absolutely no idea."

An man came out of the ship"Is this 2016? Is this May, 2016?"

"Yeah."

"You're exactly where you said you'd be. Do not get on that ship. If you do, you're all dead." The unknown man warned them.

"Says who?" Mick asked

"Says you, Mr. Rory. You sent me."

"I'm sorry. Who exactly are you?" Rip asked, confused as ever

The unknown man pauses before revealing his identity to the team, "My name is Rex Tyler. I'm a member of the Justice Society of America. "

thus we come to an end with this book. I'm really excited for season 2 of LOT. Even though some of our favorite characters won't be apart of the Waverider, it's going to be a hell of a story.
