Having a soft spot for animals has always been my favorite. As I was about to approach it when a man dressed in a blue tunic, off-white tunic, brown pants, and a short brown cloak caught my attention.

My heart stopped at the sight of a bearded man...

The one I sought for ten years...

The one I had lost hope in...

"Obiwan...?"

The words slipped out, he froze and quickly turned around to see me, tears falling from my bluebell eyes.

Author's POV: Now...

A whirlwind of emotions rushed through Aurora as she stood face-to-face with Obiwan, the man she thought she would never again see. The man's lips twitched. "Auroraa?" Obiwan's jaw dropped in disbelief and joy, which was almost too much to bear:

"...It's been a while, hasn't it?" Aurora smiled weakly.

 Silence.

After a decade of searching and longing, they finally reunited after reaching out to embrace one another. There was a mixture of love, relief, and gratitude in their eyes, knowing that they were destined to reunite. The two were wrapped in each other's arms as they were unwilling to let go of each other.

In the next scene, Obiwan offers Aurora some soup to eat. "No, thanks. I already have my leftovers in this container," she replied. He chuckled as she showed him the container of food she had brought with her, and then sat down on a ledge next to her in awkward silence as they tried to figure out what to say next.

Memories of their time together flooded back, filling the air with a sense of nostalgia and longing for the past. Finally, Obiwan broke the silence. "I never thought I'd see you again, Aurora." He continued saying: "I've never stopped thinking about you."

Aurora glanced at him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She was aware of her nervousness, not just because this was the moment she had long awaited, but also because she had almost abandoned her quest to find Obiwan. Seeing him beside her, with the same soft smile and warmth behind his blue eyes, brought a sense of relief washing over her.

As Obiwan reached out to touch her cheek with one hand, she leaned in whereas her tears finally fell, but this time they were tears of joy. Taking a deep shaky breath, she gently squeezed his hand, offering him a reassuring smile. "Neither have I, Obiwan...neither have I," she whispered. Her voice was loaded with steady feelings, which made Obiwan feel a liberating sensation wash over him.

"You don't have to tell me...I know."

"Yet, I have so much in my thoughts that I don't have the foggiest idea where to begin!" Aurora honestly tells him, just for Obiwan's blue eyes to wrinkle at the corners as he puts his food elsewhere and his grasp on her hand fixing in understanding. "We have absolutely no worries to speak of now," he said, "Above all, I might want to know about your new haircut?"

Her tears momentarily subsided as she laughed, and she playfully rolled her eyes. "It's just a haircut, Obiwan. It's not that impressive." But he didn't seem to care, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he gently ran it through her hair, sending shivers down her spine.

The touch sent waves of nostalgia washing over her, and she felt like she was transported back to the days when they were together. She closed her eyes, letting the sensation wash over her, and when she opened them again, she saw Obiwan's face inches from hers.

"Obiwan?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"Mm-hmm?" he replied, his breath whispering against her lips. Obiwan's gaze softened, and his warm smile provided a comforting presence for her soul. A sense of peace washed over her, knowing they were holding hands, looking into each other's eyes, everything else disappeared.

The wind's murmur and the distant hum of machines faded. In their intimate bubble, it was only them, immersed in happiness and longing. The Clone Wars, the fights, the sorrows, the recollections - all appeared to vanish. But as the silence stretched on, Aurora knew that they couldn't stay silent forever. They had to face the reality of their situation, and the scars that lingered from their past.

She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what lay ahead, "We have to talk about what happened," she finally asked, her voice barely above a whisper as her bluebell eyes searched for answers in his. "About Anakin...about everything."

Obi-Wan's demeanor turned grave, his eyes filled with a blend of sorrow, grief, and guilt. He nodded solemnly, releasing his hold on her hand as he averted his gaze. Not long after, he took a chance to observe and gently pulled a strand of her pink hair behind her ear, "But we can talk about it another time and right now..." he quickly replied, and he squeezed her hand again. "You can't rewrite the past, Aurora... what's done is done..."

As they sat there, the silence between them was no longer awkward, but filled with warmth and comfort. The weight of their years of separation began to lift, Aurora leaned in closer to him, her lips inches from his.

He pulled her into a kiss, it got deeper when their hands slowly intertwined before coming into an embrace as they both released the burdens of the past. At that moment, nothing else mattered but the connection they shared.

Time seemed to stand still as they finally found peace in each other's arms, their hearts beating as one. The depth of their love shone brightly, dispelling any shadows of doubt or regret that lingered. And in that moment, they both stopped for air and slowly leaned their foreheads together by sharing the same breath.

Interrupted by the quiet whirring sound, Aurora glanced to see the small brown hoodie figure until she realized that a Jawa had just witnessed them kissing; Immediately, she pushed Obiwan away, took out her leftover food to quickly eat it in order to stop the burning flame creeping onto her cheeks.

"(Should have brought some soap)," Jawa commented. "(I could smell you from Anchorhead and seeing as you were busy, I wondered if your wife didn't mind it?)."

Obiwan felt embarrassed as well, but he composed himself and snapped around to glare at the Jawa before sighing in annoyance, and getting up from the ground, "She's not—" Glancing at Aurora's eyes, before he changed the subject: "You're late," He walked over to him.

"(Do you have the credits this time?)

"Do you have it?"

The Jawa nods eagerly before scurrying inside his trash to take out a toy by handing it to Obiwan to examine it, "(A hundred and it's very rare)." He sadly continues, "(They don't make those anymore.)

Aurora walks over as well, and recognizes the toy: "A space fighter jet?" She raised an eyebrow in confusion as to why Obiwan would want it and didn't answer her question as he was busy negotiating with the Jawa named Teeka.

"I'll give you..." He hesitated as he encountered the dirt and dust with disgust but then stated, "I'll give you 50." As his former padawan made her way to the collection of scraps in the space stroller, a smile played on her lips as she began selecting components, envisioning her creation; Aurora's bluebell eyes lit up with excitement as she rummaged through the assortment of gizmos and gadgets.

"(75)," Teeka shrugged with a stoic expression: "(I've got a tribe to feed)."

Without warning, the vaporator started to splutter, causing them to look up in silence. Teeka was the first to speak, asking, "(Having trouble with the vaporator?)" Obiwan confirmed, admitting, "Yes, I had some parts were stolen." He then examined the miniature space fighter toy jet, stating, "I need a new processor board." "(Ah, you're in luck!)" the Jawa exclaimed excitedly, rushing to his pile of junk to fetch a processor board for Elisa's former master to inspect.

Upon recognizing it, Obiwan quipped, "Teeka, if you're going to take my parts and sell them back to me, at least clean them." He felt a twinge of annoyance at the thought of his parts being stolen again, "As a courtesy." "(Cleaning cost extra)."

"And I thought ladies' clothes were expensive." Aurora snorted as she just finished getting the stuff she needed and felt Obiwan's glare staring at her head while her fingers quickly picked out a fusion igniter, a repulsor lift generator, and a handful of micro-circuits.

With a mischievous grin, she began sketching out plans for her next creation in her mind; Ideas of fixing the vaporator and cleaning was something she learned to do during her travels: "Excuse me, how much are these for?" Aurora questions Teeka, who responded, "(Those junk you picked... they're 89 credits.)"

"I'll take it." Her response made Teeka cheerfully place the junk she needed in a dusty bag for her to keep; Making Obiwan choke on air in shock and disbelief as Aurora handed over the pouches of credits.

Teeka's eyes lit up with excitement, and he let out a cheerful sound: "(Ah, thank you, thank you!)" as he quickly stashed the credits away in his own pouch. Obiwan, on the other hand, looked on in shock and dismay, his eyes widening in disbelief at the sheer amount of credits being handed over.

"What...what are you doing?" Obiwan stammered, his voice laced with concern. "You're spending an entire pouch of credits on...on junk?" He gestured to the dusty bag Teeka had placed into Aurora's possession.

Aurora just smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, it's not junk," she said, her voice low and conspiratorial. "It's just for the vaporator, I know how to clean one so no need to ask Teeka for it. Now, where is the vaporator?" "Above but—." "Thanks, darling~." With that response, she hummed in delight and turned to leave to fix the vaporator.

Leaving Obiwan and Teeka looking at each other in confusion. He shook his head, muttering to himself about how she hadn't changed.

At night...

As the night blanketed the harsh desert landscape, Aurora wiped the dust and grime from her hands, having just finished tending to the vaporator. With a weary sigh, she stepped back into the modest confines of the cave, her gaze immediately drawn to the sleeping form of Obi-Wan, a man whose very presence had become a beacon of hope in this unforgiving environment.

A soft smile graced Aurora's lips as she observed him, "I suppose he was simply too exhausted to wait any longer," she mused, before turning her attention to refreshing herself. With careful care, she reached for a water bottle and meticulously cleaned and dried her hands, the methodical motion imbuing her with a renewed sense of purpose.

Curiosity piqued, Aurora decided to explore the modest confines of their temporary haven, her gaze sweeping over the spartan furnishings – the heater and Obiwan's cloak. Seeking a moment of rest, she settled herself on the ledge of the window, hoping to find a sense of tranquility and peace amidst the unyielding desert.

However, her brief rest was interrupted by the sound of heavy, distressed breathing from afar, and recognized it in an instant, 'Nightmares...' she murmured in her thoughts, immediately rushing to Obi-Wan's side in an attempt to rouse him from his fitful slumber.

"Obiwan... Obiwan, wake up," she urged, fearing that he would get hurt and after trying a couple of times to wake Obiwan up, he finally did, as he slowly sat up from his bed and inhaled sharply– only to be met with Aurora's concerned gaze, "Aurora?"

She shushed him by placing a hand over his cheek, and softly whispered: "I'm here..." Upon hearing those words, he pulled her into a tight embrace to which Aurora returned it fully; Knowing full well what the nightmare was about, she knew how much Anakin meant to Obi-Wan, and there was a reason why he didn't want to talk about it.

"It's my fault..." Aurora felt tears started to soak her tunic, "It's my fault that Anakin turned to the dark side." Obiwan quietly mumbled, when he felt her gently withdraw her hand from his cheek, meeting his sorrowful yet affectionate gaze. "It's not your fault," she reassured, Obiwan locked eyes with her, a mix of gratitude and agony visible in his expression.

"I was accountable for him," he diverted his gaze, nervously biting his lip as he contemplated how she would respond to his lack of the Force: "I was meant to be his mentor, his brother, and friend, I let him down, Aurora. I failed Anakin...And now, I am without the force."

Aurora blinked, "What?" Her expression shifted from concern to confusion, her brow furrowed in bewilderment. "What do you mean you're devoid of the Force?" she inquired, her voice blending confusion and concern. She softly laid her hand on Obi-Wan's arm, seeking to reassure him that things would be fine to discuss it.

Obi-Wan's glance fell, his eyes filled with a blend of shame and regret. "I...I cannot sense it," he murmured, Aurora's hold on his arm grew stronger, her heart burdened with empathy. She understood that his ties to the Force were part of his identity, and losing it would be overwhelming.

"Ben," she said gently, her voice filled with compassion. "You didn't fail Anakin. You tried your best, and you loved him like a brother." Trying to reassure him, Obiwan listens to her: "You'll get through this, and together.. I'll help you on finding your way to reconnect with the Force." But as she looked into his eyes, she saw the depth of his despair and knew that it was more than just a simple loss of connection.

The weight of his guilt and regret, the crushing burden of his failure also affected something else, "How, Aurora?" He continues, "There's nothing that you could do-" "I can teach you."

It took him a few minutes to process what she offered: "What?" Obiwan looked incredulously at her grip on his arm tightened slightly, her eyes locked onto his, her voice filled with conviction. "I'm a full-fledged Jedi now, Ben," She proudly tells him, "Thanks to Master Yoda, I've learned to sense the power of the Force in other ways. I've been listening to it, feeling it, even when I didn't know what it was at the time as a Padawan. Maybe I can help you tap back into it."

Obiwan's expression furrowed in disbelief.

"You've been with Master Yoda?" he repeated, and she nodded. "How?"

"After attending the funeral," The mention of 'funeral' made Obiwan know what it meant and frowned, which Aurora took notice of but continued the story: "When I was searching for you... by entering my ship to rest, and it took me by surprise to find Master Yoda inside a chest." Both of them chuckled a bit, which lightened the mood a bit but she paused for a moment and smiled a bit, "However, his reasons for training me were still a mystery but, I'm glad he did because if not I wouldn't be sitting here in this deserted cave...with you."

Obi-Wan's eyes locked onto Aurora's, his gaze fixated on hers for any hint of deception or doubt. He recalled her grandmother's words, spoken in a moment of desperation before she gave her life to save his. Aurora was a being of unwavering truth, and he trusted her implicitly. Yet, as he considered speaking of the twins, he hesitated.

Perhaps it was the weight of his concerns or the uncertainty of the path ahead, but he chose not to broach the subject, at least not yet. As Aurora stood up to leave, she misinterpreted Obi-Wan's expression, assuming he was unwilling to learn from her. But before she could depart, a firm hand grasped her wrist, halting her.

She turned to find Obi-Wan's worried face inches from hers, his eyes pleading with her to stay. "Please..." "Go on... what is it You wish me to do? Right now?" Aurora hesitantly questioned by inching a bit closer, his breath was sharing hers with their hearts racing at the burning sensation they wished to do, and Obiwan seemed to be contemplating how to respond before he blushed with a curt nod: "I..." He stopped.

As they sat together in the cave, the moon cast its silvery glow over them, illuminating her piercing bluebell eyes. He gazed into their depths for a moment before his attention shifted to her face and lips, which seemed to shimmer with a soft, moonlit radiance. With gentle reverence, he gently guided her head towards him, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, tender kiss.

SMUT!!!! skip if you're underage... be warned

Not needing to answer, Obiwan pulled her in to deepen the kiss again and this time, Aurora quickly climbed over his lap, feeling his hardened member under her robes through his trousers; She bit her lower lip and moaned softly, "Oh Ben...

"I know, darling." As Aurora and Obi-Wan stood up, they shed their upper tunics, revealing their skin to the cool air. With their chests bare, Obi-Wan wrapped his arms around Aurora's waist and sat down, his skin making contact with hers as he began to trail kisses up the curve of her neck to her breasts. Aurora tilted her head to one side, offering herself to him as he lavished attention on her vulnerable skin.

The gentle friction of their bodies against each other sent shivers of pleasure coursing through them, and they both sighed in contentment as they drank in the sensation; With Aurora feeling his hands roaming her sides over and over again by moving along the curves he missed so much. By gently guiding himself inside her, Aurora winced in surprise, and tears pricked at the corners of her eyes.

Obiwan's soothing voice whispered reassurances as he brushed away her tears with a tender kiss on her cheek, "Shh, it will be okay, just relax and trust me." His voice was filled with empathy and affection. Oh, how it drove Aurora crazy he spoke like that... After all, everything he had held in, everything he wanted to do to her had been unleashed.

Because he loved her, cared for her, protected her, and even CRAVED for her whenever they spent their missions and moments together along with their training. When Obiwan first met her, he remembered how innocent and pure she was to the world, Aurora never knew her real name until the day she met her last living grandmother and gave into the love they had for each other for such a long time, they knew that they wouldn't be able to stop it.

Now that there weren't any regulations nor any Jedi Code anymore to stop them from doing what they wanted to... No one could stop the moment when Obiwan's grip tightened on her hips, sliding his hands down to the curves of her ass, grabbing it roughly; Earning a gasp from Aurora when he kissed her again.

Their tongues collided into a fight for dominance, Aurora won by gripping his auburn hair like her life depended on it when she heard him groan; Turning her back to touch the warm surface bed, as he began lowering and stimulating her clit with such ease that he could hear Aurora feeling breathless and panting for more of him. Her nails scarring his back, indicating that she is close, "Ben, what are y-OH my stars!"

"Release it..." Obiwan growled the order under his breath, pounding her like a madman at the same time. And sure enough, Aurora complied and moaned out his name. After they got in their high, Aurora and Obiwan collapsed onto each other without any words when the only thing that came to their thoughts was that this...

This was the first time they had done it with such passion.

SMUT end...

The room was bathed in the soft, silvery glow of the moon, casting an ethereal light over the scattered clothes on the floor. Obiwan's legs were still entwined with Aurora's, their bodies wrapped together in a warm blanket. As he lay awake, Obiwan couldn't help but feel a sense of peaceful contentment wash over him, gazing at Aurora's serene face, her features softened by sleep left him breathless.

Her slender fingers were relaxed, her hair spilling across the shared pillow in a tangled mess, Obiwan removed a pink strand from covering her long eyelashes which made his heart swell with adoration for this woman who had become such a vital part of his life, 'I promise you... that I will never EVER let you go again.'

With these promising thoughts, he slowly pulls Aurora into his bare chest and succumbs to a deep slumber.
