64. Love Is In The Air
Time flew by, and over a month and a half passed. V was in a constant phase of recovery, which restricted him from doing much, but soon he was able to move and eat more. His mood swings due to homesickness reflected in the way he would sometimes fight with his brother or even Jimin, but the two never let him be alone.
Jungkook had always been there for his buddy through the best and worst times, becoming the only person V wouldn't feel his blood rising with.
College continued, and their first session was nearing its end, making things slightly hectic, but nothing came in the way of their inseparable friendship.
The four reunited after a long time, which led them to hang out together more often, from movie dates at home to making lunch together. Jimin and Taehyung would pair up against V and Jungkook for silly fights, or sometimes Jungkook and Taehyung would team up against V and Jimin. One thing was certain: they all grew closer than ever.
Taehyung and Jungkook found reconciliation, reigniting their honeymoon phase and becoming inseparable once more. They enjoyed every moment together, whether at college, at home, indoors, or outdoors, leaving V and Jimin feeling somewhat frustrated by their presence, not in a bad sense.
With no need to hold back, from Monday to Sunday, every hour, every minute, every second of the day, they were doing each other right, seven days a week.
Meanwhile, V and Jimin, the newly fallen couple, didn't follow the typical cute and soft phases at first. Their bickering seemed endless, reminiscent of before, but now V had a new way to silence Jimin—with kisses. If V weren't physically weak, he might have been tempted to playfully roughhouse with Jimin and shake some sense into him, but he chose not to let his cute aggression take over anymore.
Jimin found himself tightly held and bombarded with kisses, his cheeks chewed and tickled relentlessly, his petite frame embraced by V's affectionate attacks even when he laughed and begged for mercy.
V revealed a whole new side to him—his kissing and cuddling skills were exceptional, leaving Jimin completely enamored.
Their make-out sessions became a daily ritual, with V always indulging in bites of Jimin's plump lips and showering his cheeks with kisses afterward.
They grew closer than ever, finally acknowledging and embracing their feelings for each other, never holding back in expressing their love. V discovered depths of love within himself that he hadn't realized existed until he poured it all onto Jimin, and it seemed endless, unfathomable, even after ages.
V’s physical limitations continued to prevent them from fully experiencing each other, leaving them close but unable to explore each other completely, like unfinished puzzles.
The frustration of this ongoing barrier weighed heavily on their minds. Their passionate make-out sessions often led to a point where they both desired more, but Jimin made sure to resist, knowing that V's healing was the priority.
As V's recovery progressed, tension began to build between them, like a ticking time bomb ready to explode. V was consumed by one thought: convincing Jimin to take the next step in their relationship.
He had grown tired of waiting. Jimin's allure was too strong, and he found himself too tempted to resist any longer.
As usual, life unfolded with mundane activities marking the start of their day. It was a typical weekend morning, with V at home alone, beginning his day with breakfast and following the routine set by his physiotherapist, albeit still avoiding heavy lifting.
Meanwhile, Taehyung had spent the night at Jungkook's place, a common occurrence, leaving his brother alone in their apartment. Though V didn't mind, as Jimin often stayed over in Taehyung's absence, the night last night was an exception.
V couldn't help but feel a bit sulky about Jimin's refusal to come over, but he knew Jimin always found a way to handle his moods, like dealing with a giant baby.
On the other hand, Jimin was on his way back to the twins' apartment to pick up his bestie for their planned shopping date.
Dressed impeccably in his winter attire, Jimin exudes charm in his fluffy cream sweater, perfectly styled blonde hair, brown pants, and white shoes. He carried minimal jewelry and subtle makeup, featuring peachy blush and stained lips from his lip tint, accentuated his stunning appearance. His scent, reminiscent of a blossoming garden of cherries and roses, added to his feminine allure.
Though Jimin always dressed elegantly for Dowoo, he made an extra effort to look even more beautiful.
With his sling bag slung over his shoulder, Jimin arrived at the apartment and gently knocked on the door. V, who was in the kitchen, heard the knocks and went to answer the door.
"Where's Taehyung?" Jimin inquired as he entered, and V turned to see his beloved boyfriend eagerly searching for his brother.
"Really? Is that the first thing you ask when you see me?" V's sulky tone matched his demeanor from the night before as he closed the door behind him.
"Okay, whatever. It's really important, and he's not picking up the call. I thought he was sleeping," Jimin explained.
"He is. With Jungkook," V replied matter-of-factly.
Jimin fell silent upon hearing V's response, realizing that his bestie had spent the night at Jungkook's.
Sighing, Jimin glanced around and took out his phone from his pocket. "I told this bitch to get home on time, we had plans." he muttered to himself.
As Jimin mumbled to himself, V couldn't resist being drawn to his adorable look. Forgetting his sulky act, V approached him, unable to resist any longer.
"Now come here," V whispered, pulling Jimin by the waist, their bodies colliding. Jimin automatically wrapped his arms over V's shoulders, one hand brushing through V's messy morning hair, while V closed his eyes at the impact.
"What was so important?" V asked curiously, eager to hear about their plans.
"We planned to go shopping, but we'll go some other time now." Jimin answered, and V opened his eyes.
"Why? Can't I go shopping with you?" V inquired, puzzled.
Jimin chuckled, pulling himself away from V's hold and stepping back to put his bag on the kitchen counter.
"With you? No thanks."
"Why not?" V persisted.
"I can't trust you with all your choices." Jimin replied casually.
"Right." V muttered, checking Jimin up and down before continuing to sulkily make his way to the kitchen to finish what he was doing, while Jimin giggled to himself.
"Did he tell you when he will come back?" Jimin asked, placing his hands on the counter, facing V who stood on the opposite side.
"No. Go ask him yourself if you're so worried." V replied curtly, starting the stove and heating his pan.
"I wouldn't be asking you if I could." Jimin retorted.
"But you are." V pointed out.
Jimin couldn't help but feel a tickle of amusement inside, unable to hide his widening smile. He decided to walk up behind V and stand close, aiming to hug him from the back, knowing it was V's greatest weakness.
"What are you cooking?" Jimin asked gently, trying to lure V into his trap of persuasion.
"Ramen." V replied nonchalantly.
"Can I have some?" Jimin asked.
"That'll be 5 dollars." V replied casually, continuing to work on his bowl of ramen. Jimin broke the hug, looking incredulous.
"Are you for real?" Jimin asked, but V remained unfazed, decorating his bowl with a pan-fried egg.
Jimin stared at V, pondering how to lure him again.
"Come here, turn around. Can I at least get a hug?" Jimin requested, tugging at the hem of V’s hoodie to get his attention.
"And that'll be 10 dollars." V replied casually, still focused on his meal.
"What? Are you kidding?" Jimin's eyes softened, and V stifled a chuckle, refusing to face Jimin as he enjoyed their little game.
"Okay, fuck off, you don't deserve all this princess treatment, now fucking come here you—" Jimin had enough and pulled V over, who let himself be pulled. Jimin quickly clung to him, hugging him tightly, snuggling closer and closer, while both of them broke into giggles, still wrapped in each other's arms.
"How would you like to transfer my pay? Cash or—" V asked comically, but before he could finish, Jimin broke apart to cradle V’s face in his hands, pulling him in for a kiss.
"Here, here is your pay." Jimin said, initiating a passionate kiss out of blue while V reciprocated, deciding to make Jimin sit on the counter instead, kissing him back with equal devotion.
Their kiss deepened as they lost themselves in each other's embrace, their passion igniting like a wildfire. V's hands roamed over Jimin's back, pulling him closer, while Jimin’s hands gently cupped V's face, savoring every moment of their intimacy until V decided to speak up.
"15 dollars for a kiss," V said after pulling away.
"How about I give you someone who's worth a million dollars?" Jimin replied, batting his eyelashes dramatically.
"Who?" V asked, playing along.
"Me," Jimin answered with a smirk.
V faked making puking faces to tease Jimin, who dropped his adorable demeanor and playfully slapped V, finally breaking into a smile.
“Anyway, I'm starving, I haven't eaten anything.” Jimin said after a while, both of them were still holding onto each other.
“Weren't you going shopping?” V inquired.
“Yes we were but I guess not anymore.”
“Why wouldn't you eat anything?” V questioned out of care.
“We had planned a lunch date too, so yeah, I didn't eat anything.” Jimin explained with a playful pout.
“Ever asked his brother for a date?” V suggested, trying to suppress his jealousy.
“He won't ever take me out.” Jimin responded with a sigh.
“Underestimating him?” V asked in a challenging tone.
“You'd better tell him to focus on his health. Now stop squeezing me.” Jimin retorted, trying to wriggle out of V's embrace.
“And if I don't want to?” V teased back, holding Jimin tighter and pulling him in closer to a playful kiss in which Jimin couldn't help but smile.
Their kiss turned into a playful exchange of affection, filled with laughter and joy. Jimin's hands wandered over V's neck, tickling him slightly, while V retaliated by gently squeezing Jimin's sides, causing him to squirm with laughter, the little one jumped from the counter in an attempt to free himself and run.
But V was not easy with him. He pulled him closer again to kiss the sides of his face as he embraced him from the back and Jimin tilted his head to reciprocate. Between kisses, they exchanged silly jokes and playful banter, their love expressed through lighthearted teasing and laughter until Jimin broke apart again. Jimin pretended to steal V's ramen, prompting V to fake a dramatic gasp before pulling him into another embrace.
"Hey, no stealing my food!" V exclaimed with mock indignation, trying to look serious but failing as a smile tugged at his lips.
"Sorry, but your ramen looks too delicious to resist." Jimin replied with an exaggerated pout, earning a playful swat on the arm from V.
Their silliness continued as they took turns making funny faces at each other, their laughter echoing through the apartment. Despite the challenges they faced, in that moment, all that mattered was their love and the joy they found in each other's company.
As they finally calmed down, still smiling and giggling, V pulled Jimin close for a tender kiss, their hearts overflowing with love and happiness. In each other's arms, they found solace, laughter, and an unbreakable bond that would carry them through any obstacle life threw their way.
As they sat together on the couch, V behind Jimin with his legs stretched out and Jimin between those legs, holding the ramen bowl for the both of them.
V broke the silence. "So, what about today?"
"What do you mean, 'about today'? I'll eat and then head back home to just rearrange my clothes and stuff," Jimin lied, attempting to tease V.
V leaned his face closer to stare at the side of Jimin's face, playing along. "Okay, then leave. Your clothes must be waiting."
Jimin couldn't help but giggle and turned around to playfully hit V on the shoulder, while V continued slurping the rest of the ramen.
"Okay, just kidding. What do you want me to do?" Jimin asked, while V focused on finishing his bowl, chugging down the broth.
"Seriously, do you want to know?" V asked, and Jimin rolled his eyes, knowing exactly what he meant.
"No, I don't want to know anymore. Do you want to watch a movie ?" Jimin offered, finally breaking the playful tension.
And V couldn't deny.

"You're my baby, my sweet choco pie, my little vanilla bean, my mozzarella cheese, my—" Taehyung continued to squish and play with Jungkook's cheeks, showering him with never-ending nicknames, while Jungkook simply chuckled at his antics.
"Mmmm... baby..." Jungkook made subtle noises, secretly enjoying how Taehyung would smooch his cheeks so hard and then proceed to nibble or suck on them.
"You're my babiest baby, my little baby melon," Taehyung continued, and Jungkook chuckled, holding onto him tightly.
"Are you sure I'm the one who's the baby amongst us?" Jungkook questioned, raising an eyebrow as Taehyung momentarily let go of his cheeks.
"Yes, yes, you're my baby."
Jungkook stifled a laugh as Taehyung snuggled in for a hug, sitting on Jungkook's lap the whole time, clinging onto him and not giving him a chance to let go.
Taehyung was wearing Jungkook's loose hoodie and his legs remained bare, while Jungkook stayed in his sweatpants with a bare top, his tattoos on display as always. They sat together on Jungkook's couch, Jungkook holding onto his baby tightly.
"My baby, my little angel." Taehyung continued, taking Jungkook's long dark hair in his hands and styling them into two top ponytails, while Jungkook admired him endearingly.
"You're still not out of your hangover, I see." Jungkook whispered, then decided to stand up swiftly, carrying Taehyung along with him.
"You've had enough of my cheeks, now spare me a moment to actually feed you something." Jungkook said as he placed Taehyung on his kitchen counter. But Taehyung refused to let go, puckering his lips for a kiss instead, and Jungkook obliged with a smile on his lips.
"You're seriously something. Now let go, let me cook for us." Jungkook said in a gentle tone, attempting to break free. Taehyung couldn't fight against him anymore, especially once Jungkook kissed the top of his head.
Standing tall with a strong and muscular body, long dark hair growing into a mullet with side bangs, tattoos covering his entire arm, and a face matured with all the masculine energy—Jungkook presented an imposing figure.
Yet to Taehyung, he was his babiest baby, and angel. It wasn't about how he looked; it was about the way he treated Taehyung—with love, care, and tenderness. That's what made Jungkook truly special in Taehyung's eyes.
No matter how rugged or tough Jungkook appeared on the outside, to Taehyung, he was always gentle, caring, and affectionate. Jungkook's strong arms were always there to hold Taehyung close, offering comfort and security. His deep voice was soothing, his laughter infectious, and his smile could light up the darkest of days.
Their relationship was a beautiful balance of strength and tenderness, passion and affection. Jungkook's rugged exterior was complemented by his soft-hearted nature, and Taehyung cherished every moment they spent together.
No matter how hectic life became, Jungkook always made time for Taehyung, showering him with love and attention. Whether it was a simple gesture like making breakfast together or a grand gesture like planning a surprise date night, Jungkook's love for Taehyung shone through in everything he did.
Taehyung couldn't help but feel lovesick whenever he was around Jungkook. His heart fluttered at the mere sight of him, and his stomach filled with butterflies whenever Jungkook flashed him that boyish grin. Taehyung always found himself slipping into his baby side whenever he was with Jungkook, craving his attention, affection, and care.
He loved nothing more than being pampered and treated with love and tenderness by Jungkook. From gentle forehead kisses to warm hugs that enveloped him in Jungkook's strong arms, every gesture made Taehyung's heart swell with adoration. And though he enjoyed being taken care of, Taehyung also had a deep desire to reciprocate that love, always eager to make Jungkook feel cherished and appreciated in return.
But even as Taehyung showered Jungkook with affection, he couldn't help but feel a pang of longing deep within his heart. He longed to be called Jungkook's baby, to hear those three simple words whispered in his ear, to feel Jungkook's arms wrapped tightly around him, promising to never let go.
Despite his yearning, Taehyung knew that his love for Jungkook was enough. He cherished every moment they spent together, every laugh shared, every touch exchanged. And as he clung onto Jungkook, never wanting to let go, Taehyung knew that as long as they had each other, they could conquer anything that came their way.
"Um, baby, I forgot to mention that Jimin called you several times. When I answered, he sounded a bit off." Jungkook suddenly reminded Taehyung, whose eyes widened in alarm. All traces of his hangover vanished as he leaped from the counter.
"Oh no, I completely forgot about our date and shopping plans! He's going to be furious. This is not good." Taehyung exclaimed, his panic evident. Jungkook watched him with surprise as Taehyung rushed to retrieve his phone from Jungkook's room to check his messages.
"Damn, he canceled our plans. Is he angry? Oh god." Taehyung continued to fret as he dialed Jimin's number and Jimin answered, his tone cool and casual.
"Hey... I'm sorry I—"
"I'm busy with my boyfriend, so leave me alone with yours. We can reschedule for another day." Jimin said before abruptly ending the call. Taehyung stared at his phone screen, frowning.
"Is he upset?"
"What's wrong, babe?" Jungkook called from the kitchen, prompting Taehyung to walk over to him.
"Jimin mentioned he's with Dowoo. Should I go see him? Do you think he's angry?" Taehyung asked, his mind racing with worry. Jungkook chuckled softly.
"Probably not, but if you're concerned, you can go check on him, baby." Jungkook suggested, but Taehyung only pouted, opting to cling to Jungkook from behind.
"What if they're, you know, 'busy'?" Taehyung queried, his tone laced with concern, to which Jungkook chuckled.
"Then I can see why Jimin canceled our plans. Maybe you should spend more time here." Jungkook remarked.
"Should I?" Taehyung asked.
"Yeah."
Deciding on this, Taehyung settled back onto the counter, keeping Jungkook accompanied as he continued cooking.
"Kookie..."
"Hmmm..."
The quiet moment was interrupted as Jungkook turned away from his chopping to look at Taehyung, who had a faint pout on his lips.
"What's on your mind?" Jungkook asked, noticing Taehyung's shift in demeanor.
"I have no plans for today anymore, but you do. And I don't want to wait until tonight to hang out with you again. Can I just stick around and be with you all day?" Taehyung asked, his eyes pleading with Jungkook who chuckled at Taehyung's clinginess.
"I would love to. In fact, isn't that what we did yesterday right after coming back from our classes?" Jungkook replied casually, continuing to cook while Taehyung swung his legs, his pout growing denser.
"Do you perhaps get bored of me?" Taehyung asked, his voice tinged with insecurity as he sought affirmation from Jungkook, as he often does.
Jungkook chuckled once he faced Taehyung, shaking his head.
"No, what are you on about? I can never be bored of you, babe. It's just that I have plans with my old friends. They're in Seoul for a while, and I just felt like meeting up with them."
"Without me?" Taehyung's bottom lip jutted out in a classic pout, his eyes wide with a hint of hurt.
Jungkook couldn't help but smile at Taehyung's adorable pout. He walked over to where Taehyung was sitting, gently wrapping his arms around him and planting a soft kiss on his forehead.
"Of course not, Tae. You know you're always welcome to join us." Jungkook reassured him, his voice warm and comforting. "But I thought you might want some time to yourself today. You've been so busy lately, and I know how much you enjoy having some alone time."
Taehyung's pout softened at Jungkook's words, his heart swelling with affection for the thoughtful man before him. Despite his initial disappointment, he knew Jungkook was right. He had been feeling a bit overwhelmed lately, and the idea of spending the day relaxing at home sounded more appealing than ever but he still wanted Jungkook around him.
"But your time has become my time and mine became yours, I want to be around you even if it's to just stay in silence and not do anything." Taehyung murmured.
"Hmm, I understand, babe, but don't you think we should also have our separate time?"
"We're already apart during classes. We only meet during breaks or after college, and then we hang out like this on weekends." Taehyung complained, and Jungkook chuckled.
"And isn't it fun?"
"No, not to me."
"Hey, why?" Jungkook chuckled as he asked.
"I don't know, but do you think I am growing clingy or annoying? Or maybe a little too much? I don't know, I started to feel like I am. But we only get weekends to spend together, and we're mostly studying these days—" Taehyung's voice trailed off, his insecurities bubbling to the surface.
"Baby, don't say this," Jungkook interrupted gently, pulling Taehyung into a comforting embrace.
They were swamped with assignments and extra lectures, which made it challenging to find time to hang out. And when they finally did, Taehyung just wanted to cling, but then Jungkook found himself suggesting they spend some time apart. Taehyung understands everything, but he doesn't want to accept it.
"You're not clingy or annoying. You're just someone who loves deeply and wants to spend time with the person they care about. There's nothing wrong with that."
Taehyung sighed, leaning into Jungkook's warmth. "I just worry sometimes. I don't want to overwhelm you or make you feel suffocated."
Jungkook cupped Taehyung's face in his hands, his gaze filled with affection.
"You could never overwhelm me, Tae. Spending time with you is the best part of my day, and I cherish every moment we have together. So please, never doubt how much you mean to me."
"Oh lord, I love you so much." Taehyung said, leaning in to steal a kiss. Jungkook smiled into the kiss and returned it.
"I love you too, babe. Now, let me cook."
"Later, cook me and eat me first." Taehyung whispered against Jungkook's lips, causing Jungkook's eyes to widen slightly.
"Baby?"
"Then you're free to do whatever you want for the rest of the day, I promise, just a quickie." Taehyung's pleading eyes had Jungkook playfully rolling his eyes.
"Okay."
