My darlings!! So whilst indeed I am a big fan of my digital art, I still own a sketchbook, that I do indeed use sometimes, but more frequently at the moment. So on that note, I thought I might go ahead and show you lot all the spreads I have filled this year ^-^

I will go on in chronological order and say a few things to every spread, if there's something to say at all.

(Also: this chapter has been typed on my phone at 22:14 so I apologise for all the typos)

Welp, so let's get started, eh?

Over here we have Eldeth on the left side, where I practised some emotions for once, since I still planned on making a comic with her at that point.
Nowadays most of you should know her under the name of "Ruindîr" with quite a different appearance xDD
Dang, the story has developed so much over the year...

On the other side I was just drawing my girls, since I fancied drawing some of them. So somewhere there we should have the outdated designs of Deluech, Meluil, Cuiniell and two others, who's names I forgot ^-^""
Oh man... I really gotta redraw them...

On the next spread I was at the eye-doctors and was doodling some random stuff, whilst sitting in the waiting room. Nothing too special... I also did the first concept sketches for "somber" on the right page, even though you can't see all that much because of my markers on the opposite side of the page.

Speaking of the next page, here I quickly drew the environment I photographed at our holidays on mallorca, and scribbled with markers on top. I remember how i wanted to try something out and achieve some specific look, buy I sadly can't remember what precisely I wanted >w<
On the other side of that sketch I started to doodle a face, but I never finished it and. the sketch was too light to show up on camera, so I just cropped it out ^-^"

On thr next spread I was at school and bored, so I tried to draw my mirror-cube, which is essentially just a 3D rubix-cube. It didn't turn out how i wanted it too, since I've gotten totally out of practise with drawing objects.
Ob the other side I tried to explain my sister how I shade hair in pencil (I think, at least), and the  stuck in a doodle I made in my school planner ^-^
At this point I was really struggling with my sketchbook and barely touched it for the next months.

On the next spread I just had fun with hair-dynamic as a warm-up for drawing a digital sketch I never finished ^-^
Then on the right page I tried out some new ideas for Maethdess, thay I probably implement in some way, since I really like the feel they have.

The next spread qas just a random doodle one, where I ended up sticking some more school planner doodles, before starting a fresh spread in the hopes of starting new somehow.

In hopes for reviving my motivation I tried out new things on the next spread. I doodled an ages old OC

And tested out some facial proportions I found curious. On the other page I tried having fun with black and white contrast. I still really like the look it has, whilst not being all thay happy with the sketches themselves.

Next spread I drew a face and was too scared to finish it, and then I fancied drawing Ru... I gave up on that after realising that I totally failed at that and instead moved over to the next page to draw some hands. Because hands are fun, relaxing and always look good in sketchbooks, since the mass distract from all the mistakes.

Next up I was having coffee and breakfast, and felt the odd urge to draw. So i drew my children Feredir and Tirith, totally failing at everything...... I hated the spread so much at that point, so I decided to draw the third part of the trio on the other page and make her look the best she's ever looked in my drawings.
And to be honest I still like those sketches a ton..... sp that's that then.

Next page I fancied drawing some torsos. So i drew torsos.
On the opposite page I noted down ideas for larger pieces... in the meantime I totally lost motivation for those, but I think the spread still looks cool ^-^

The next spread was another breakfast warm-up one. I wanted to draw more hoodies, so I drew... well, hoodies on bodies. And since I didn't know what to put on the other side, so I drew this random fake-plant i found on pinterest ^-^"

After then not having touched my sketchbook for another ages, I drew my friend Black a little motivational snek-psy doodle, whilst also drawing a closeup of snek-psy's eyes since Black couldn't believe, that her pupils really were heart-shaped. I also stuck a small doodle I made whilst studying geography in there... because I was questioning on the relevance of this for my future life...
I also explained the differences between my male and female torsos on this spread

And then we have some vent doodles I made whilst feeling depressed and crying my eyeballs out >w<""

The next spread was filled on my last day of school, after I packed everything and was waiting for my dad to come and pick me up. I also finally drew my baby P4... oh man... he's one of the most morally disgusting OCs I ever created with one of the most brutal fates ever

(Short form: he raped his little niece and instead of being sentenced to death, he was made a test subject in a set of experiments which resulted in a very painful and gory death)

I am currently working on a redraw of him ^-^

On the other spread I doodled some random faces, because I felt like it... nothing special... well except that I drew that whilst our Artcontest was born on the _ArtClub_ ... you can see my small sketch of my fav-sticker in there too ^-^

Next page... oh man guys... it was 3 in the morning and I woke up from a dream. And in that dream I saw the fireforgean throne room so vividly, that i sketched it out in the dark hoping I wouldn't forget how it looked.
The other page was a thing I drew just before we left on our holidays to Austria :D

This also was the first time I decided on a colour scheme for my spreads and going with boxes instead of..... lines, which made my sketchbook look way more aesthetic and orderly ^-^

The next spread was the first one I filled in, as soon as we arrived in the holiday home we would be staying in for the following 10 days.
I essentially drew a random girlface as a style experiment and then decided that I wanted more torsos with clothing in here. Overall I had a ton of fun experimenting and forcing myself to draw in my sketchbook more, since I deliberately didn't pack my drawing tablet >w<

But by far the most important thing is, that my trusty black polychromos died on that page (that's why the grave is at that botttom... with the exact height of the pencil itself ^-^")

The next spread happened whilst my fam was out climbing. I was just chillin by the rocks and drawing some random faces as well as trying myself at some rocks and children. Nothing all that special to be honest.... I was essentially just trying to distract myself and not get sunburnt in the mountains.
(And I put the wrong spread on the top......I'm referring to the bottom one this time ^-^"")

The next one happened, whilst we were inside one evening and the inktober promptlist was released (I'm part of the email newsletter, so we get the prompts one or two weeks earlier than the general public >w<). So I drew my first ideas for the prompt "fish" ... i also doodled Emmett again :D

And then on the other page I started to draw a map for Funkenteufel, since she gave me a map-request... never actually finished the thing.... probably should do that sometime soon... I'm way to behind on my requests.

Next up I was chillin outside on a rock again, drawing some random things... such as the next idea for my Ru and Cev development series and I worked on the appearance of.... an OC of mine.... who's name i have forgotten whilst writing this... i swear as soon as I hit "publish" i will remember his name. Anyways, he's a paladin and somewhere in the upper ranks (Clan Master of the Gravebuilds, if that tells you anything). On the other side i drew a more refined portrait of him (covered sith paper to protect from smudging.... it should be in a later picture somewhere, since i didn't have room on this or the next one. And then we also have an idea for the design of my OC Mystos in the top right corner, which I am currently refining digitally,as well as another random dudeface.

On the next pread I drew some random faces from reference. It was raining a lot and I started to miss my drawing tablet more, since my traditional stuff didn't look the way I wanted it to... i don't really like this spread  but I do like the little doodle of a younger Glandirion (HA!! THAT WAS HIS NAME!!) in the bottom middle.

Now, i  between the two spreads from before, this spread ober here has it's home. I decided to figure out Arthon a bit. Arthon is a friend of Glamarphen... you'll get some more information in the chapter with the entire friendgroup, so bear with me ^-^"
(.... i like that little doodle where he complains about being cold in the desert...)

Woway! So the next spread was more a random one. After Arthon, we left for home again and i haven't touched my sketchbook for.... a long time, i didindeed plan out some ideas for my inktober drawings and doodled an outfit with my textmarkers when I was bored. Later on I also explained Ruindîrs prosthetic arm to YunaMondlicht in the middle of the night. Later on i went back and drew some hands there since the spread looked so empty. Not a lot to say about that one ^-^""

Here's finally that portrait of Glandirion from way before, btw... his mouth is a bit small and he has all the usual oddities of my traditional drawings,but i still like it.

Ugh.... the next spreads are the wrong way around again... so yeah.... I wanted to draw one of Brons friends there and lost motivation pretty quickly. So instead I drew a sword. And since j misjudged the length quite a bit, I drew a broken sword uwu
Yeah.... it simply was another breakfast warmup I made on a weekend ^-^"
On the next page I drew a halfbody of said friend of Bronadan (>>cough cough<< Erthion >>cough cough<<) and threw some watercolours on there, since i missed them QwQ

On the next spread I wanted to draw a halfbody of Bronadan, but first wanted to figure out how his face works in non-didigtal beforehand. Well, I ended up drawing tne face, thinking it was ugly and leaving the halfbody sketch as is.

On the next page i then went ahead and drew Linnion in green, because I fancied drawing him in green. I even got my watercolours ouf for that one :D
Originally he was unlined, but after getting some fancy brushpens in my advent calendar i went back and added some ✨ contrast ✨

Oh yeah baby! Now we get to my brushpen drawings and those... yeah, i like those. But that might just be, because i did them recently xD
Dunno....so yeah... essentially I was just swatching and testing things out, since they are a new medium for me and all that ^-^
And then we have two small experimental vent-doodles on the side. Really nothing special.

Next up we have a page filled with... well, two random faces. BUTT we also have some hands, because whenever I don't know what to draw I just draw hands... hands are cool guys. I like hands.

And we also have some calligraphy tests for my Secret-Santa-Project, that I still haven't finished... the WIP for that will be posted soon... (holy fucking shit, buechl-sophie I am so so so so sorry, aahhhhh...)

Another spread filled with faces and a hand... special is this time around that I doodled the human form of one of xTheBlackStarx's OCs, which was hella cool... it's just a really messy half-body but I still like it ^-^
And I drew the coolest Orc with pink hair that belongs to pinkish-light ....... he's cute... I like him

And then I drew a hand, pointing the golden finger in somebodies direction, except I was an idiot, so I ran out of room on the page. Now we can only presume that's what the hand is doing.

Next spread, which is actually the spread that came before the one above :D

Drew a big hand... I like drawing hands... have I mentioned that before?
and then I missed drawing torsos, so I drew some of those, before accepting that I seem to just stretch them out way too long (eventhough the one on the left looks pretty good.... dunno, what do you think?)

... I struggled a lot with the other hand.... had to white-out the entire pinky, until it looked somewhat natural. But therefore I like the hand on the left even more, so I'm not complaining ^-^""

(Oh and I drew a random face in the corner, because it looked empty and I didn't know what else to put there)

And here we go on the last one!

I started of by drawing a random torso, which ended up looking bad, so I covered it up with clothing and put a head on top... which is also why the head looks so out of place... and because the head looked so out of place, I drew it again, but in big :D

And then I decided to draw some cute doodles of him, since it's supposed to be my OC Alan (as in... Modern AU Alagion, good friend of Celvin (-> Cevrond) and Ruan (-> Ruindîr), best friends with Samir (-> Saeldír) and Laiton (-> Laegon)... all that good stuff... you know the guy)

(QUICK NOTE: I "FUCKED UP" AAAHHHHHHHHH..... The dude's name is Alan/Alagion... and not Adrian/Aderthon, since that would be Brodan/Bronadans and Daniel/Daugonnens cousin.... aahhhh shit....)

And here are some closeups, because I liked this spread so much:

Ah, I just love the doodle with the tea... and obviously the hand... I literally can't believe, that I forgot that he had only three fingers on his left hand.... (and I accidentally drew the right one, so just imagine the hand mirrored)...  so yeah..

Welp, that's all I have to say for my sketchbook. I hope you liked to see some traditional stuff for a change... maybe I'll have a book dedicated to my former sketchbokks, since I'm currently in the last third of sketchbook 6... we'll see...
