Title: Stalker or Admirer?

     yeoreum smiled as she strolled into her favorite coffee shop, the warm, pleasant ambiance relaxing both her mind and body, and went straight to the counter to place her order.

     "one iced americano, please."

     "on its way ma'am, state your name please," the cashier said, biting her lower lip and flirtingly looking at yeoreum. yeoreum never noticed how the cashier stared at her since she was too preoccupied with roaming her eyes around.

     "my name is shin yeoreum," she introduced herself with a loving grin that made the girl in front of her blush.

     she proceeded to her seat after finishing her order before bringing out her book, which she hadn't finished yet after a few days of being preoccupied with school.

     after a few minutes, her coffee was finally given by the same girl at the counter area; yeoreum thanked her and the girl sat in front of her instead of leaving.

     yeoreum was about to take a sip of her iced americano when she noticed the girl in front of her, raising an eyebrow and giving her a perplexed expression.

     "uhm, is there any problem?"

     "i'm jungeun, kim jungeun but i preferred to be called kim lip," jungeun said, holding out her hand for a handshake, which yeoreum nervously but joyfully accepted.

     jungeun flashed a dazzling smile, which creeped out yeoreum since she was staring her in the eyes as their hands remained linked for a handshake. yeoreum swallowed hard before releasing her hand from jungeun's grip.

     "i like you," jungeun blurted out, catching yeoreum off guard.

     "...uhh what?

     as her eyes widened at her own admission, jungeun rushed, "what i mean is that i admire you. your features, as well as your personality, are both captivating. i'm sorry if it made you baffled."

     "it's fine, actually. i was just taken aback since you were so straightforward."

     jungeun swore that was the most angelic sound she had ever heard, yeoreum giggled. she shone in jungeun's eyes as though the universe had suddenly decided to pay attention to her and only her. it was all too wonderful.

     "oops, gotta work. by the way, it was great meeting you; i hope we can get together again soon!" despite the fact that she was simply returning to her work just by the counter, jungeun waved her hand goodbye.

     she's not so bad after all. maybe she just doesn't make a good first impression, yeoreum thought to herself as she glanced at jungeun, usually minding her own business but occasionally pausing to look at her.

     what she doesn't know that behind those innocent eyes, hid her deepest dark secret...

     days, weeks, and even months passed as jungeun and yeoreum became closer as time went on. as they progressed from strangers to friends, or possibly even more than that, the two grew close. they hang out whenever yeoreum comes into the shop, which is often daily.

     today was no different than any previous day. yeoreum always stepped into the coffee shop with a smile on her face, brightening the mood. she went over to the counter to see whether jungeun was there, but she was nowhere to be seen.

     the fact that jungeun was out immediately made her smiles into frowns, nonetheless went to the counter and ordered her usual coffee.

     "i'll order an iced americano," yeoreum spoke to the current cashier in front of her. she decided to look around to search for jungeun once again but still no signs of her presence in the shop.

     yeoreum cocked an eyebrow, "uhm, do you perhaps know where kim jungeun's whereabouts is?" she asked, her curiosity won over her.

     "as far as i know, today is her day off," the man in front of her replied, giving her the cup of coffee she ordered.

     strange. she could've been hanging out with me if it was her day off today, yeoreum reasoned before shrugging her shoulders.

     as she headed to her usual seat, she spotted what appears to be an abandoned camera. curious, she glanced through it, and found that it's filled with photos of her from the past month.

     do you like my gift to you, sweetheart? hope you do<3 i apologize if i'm not here today, just need to finish some important business. but don't worry, i'll make it up to you...
